I loved this video. I worked with my grandparents and four uncles on their farms in north central Ohio. Working with your extended family to accomplish a harvest was very fulfilling. It didn’t seem like work, it was enjoyable. I’m seventy five now and do not help anymore but the memories are very real and I’ll cherish them til the day that I die. Thank you.
I've hauled a lot of potatoes out of Idaho in my younger days, heck I even have the post card of the big potatoe being hauled by the green KW. I love potatoes. ❤ Great video ,Thanks for Sharing. 😊
I started picking potatoes with a basket to a belt, to a combine worked in the cellars drove spud trucks, I love to eat potatoes anyway they are cooked. Raised in the Lost River Valley. Just bought a new bag spuds yesterday. Great Video.
I'm a insulin dependent diabetic and My main Carbohydrate source is the plain potato. The spud is far better for me than cereal based carbs. Loved the video and I will have make a visit to Idaho to see your giant potato
Interesting to watch this from Europe, with its own approaches to potatoes. - If I have understood correctly, "we" tend to rotate areas among crops where possible. And here in the Netherlands, "we" are trying to develop potatoes that don't mind saltier water.
We used seed that is planted in virgin ground to make up for the lack of crop rotation. We can't not plant because McDonalds needs the fries and we can barely keep up with demand.
I’ve watched a lot of US potato farming videos. There’s always a lot of Mexican farm hands helping out. Are there none in Idaho? Were they left out on purpose?
Look you can say that as much as you want but until consumers wholesale vote with their dollar for better food than things will stay the way they are. Farmers meet the demand that is given.
Awesome video! Farmers are special people, too often unappreciated!
Thank you for watching!!

People working the farms are the salt of the earth. They understand what it takes to provide food. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.

I'm white and a woman. In my younger years I did that work. I absolutely loved it.
Please, be careful. We have enough foreigners here already. Don't make it look too good or they will drive us all out of the state.
Most consumers know that Idaho potatoes are GMO and we avoid them.

I used to farm. I thought this would be a great video. But when you mention false gods I'm out.
Some people just can't agree to disagree can they?
