I used to make these at lot with my older sister but we just did a bunch of bendy straws and plastic wrap on the bottom and top and use blue razz Berry jello. then once they we're made we rolled them in "sour suger" (suger+citric acid) . ^ w ^ a fun and spooky treat indeed.

+S R Get a styrofoam soup container and put the jello worms in it. Add some crushed oreo cookie as dirt and you can claim that they're worms for fishing. Then make a show of eating some- dirt and all- for comedic effect.
Please can someone help me? In my country I can only buy jelly that I dissolve with hot water. Not the powdered jelly. How would I use this? It’s a 135g bar to be dissolved with 285ml of boiling water and then I need to make it up to 570ml with cold water. Would this still work?? Would I still need to add gelatin envelopes too? THANKS IN ADVANCE
the jello jiggler recipe (with the added cream and food coloring) probably would have worked just as well, I want to have a Halloween party someday and these would be great in a giant bowl with crushed chocolate mixed in to look like dirt lol
I just held an earth worm the other day. He came out because of the rain. I enjoyed holding him. I love worms! This project is freakishly realistic and now I'm not so sure how I'd feel about eating them lol all the worms I've ever come across have personalities....in my head. Am I weird? Lol!
I'm planning on making about a half batch of these to see if they work at all as fish bait - I hate stabbing the real worms and I'd prefer the fish who steal my baits to get something that's really edible instead of plastic that'll get stuck in their digestion.
lol, i don't know if i could eat the worms by themselves because of the real look to them, but once you put them in those adorable cupcakes it made them, weirdly, more appetizing lol..it guess it was the dirt.
