    I I did a 1.6l to 1999 1.8l conversion. Bigger with a much better head.

I forgot to mention, that the MazdaSpeed heads use Shim under bucket instead of these where the shims sit on top, and not hydraulic, If memory serves me right are a direct drop in for the BP4W head and should be cheaper then going aftermarket. Also as I, forgot to mention here but did in my lengthy email to you, the exhaust cam needs to come from another BP4W head to keep the non hydraulic lifters.

Hey Guys Great content as always, keep up the great work. Something you might want to look into for cams is using a second exhaust came for intake as it has longer duration then the intake cam, not 100% on the lift measurements though they are either the same or a bit of an increase. They say anywhere from 4-10 hp extra depending on engine health. it is also cheaper than going with Mazda speed cams, unless you can find one at the wreakers. There is a few Miata peps that have done this across the pond.

On another note not having eatched the video yet, can anyone remember the name of the Centrifugal Supercharger system manufactured in Glasgow about 10 years, maybe 20 years ago?

Proper Men In Sheds Engineering. I remembered seeing a vid on YT about what Volvo did to an engine to make it competitive from your reference to them. It made more sense with your explanation. On the subject of forced induction, would a supercharger be easy to acquire these days? I know some Minis are fitted with them.
