This lead to the introduction of Nigo and after ichigo returned he needed a stunt double. But this suit was specifically designed to support his lingering injuries so he could do his own stunts again one more time

Masked Rider Black Series would always be my favorite, it has the edgier feel unlike his predecessor who look like guys in spandex (Well all of them are) But Masked Rider and Shadow Moon just feels more metallic and bad ass in my opinion. They were simple yet elegantly designed unlike the newer ones who are so over the top it borders more on toyish ridiculousness just to sell merchandise rather than just providing the story.

Why is it, whenever I look up best rider series, or rider series to start out with, there is absolutely no love for the showa riders? Not only did they all have ishinomori as a creator/overseer, but they didn’t require so many gimmicks to be cool. I don’t understand the disrespect there.
@@Ksawarrior I'm gonna disagree. While Black and Black RX were certainly good, the rest of the showa era shows do have a lot of writing issues. Outside of Black/RX, I don't think many other showa era shows can hold a candle to something like Build in terms of writing.

Yes VR troopers is the US version (like Power Rangers taken from Super Sentai) the original version shown here is the Space Sherrifs.. Shaider, Sharivan, Gavan.. and actually they're not Kamen Rider, they're from whole another genre called Metal Heroes
The actor Takasugi Shunsuke is a fugitive on the run having duped his fans for money -stating that the Japanese mafia took his Rider belt and that he needed money to get it back. I think the character is pretty much done because of this; it ties in too much to Takasugi.
Mr. Fujioka had an accident and he couldn’t perform with his broken legs. Toei changed the storyline abit by introducing Hayato to fight SHOCKER in Japan while Hongo is fighting SHOCKER abroad. When Mr. Fujioka recovered, he came back in the “Sakurajima” episode.

yeah, they could do the effects that they couldn't do back then and the transformation is more fluid so it will be connected to the scene.
