CS Lewis was quite well known long before he was a Christian. What he is saying here can be Biblical but it depends on how you apply what he is saying. For example, if you always view Christian victory as some event in your future then you will always be fighting for something that’s already been won. If you see the victory of Jesus over sin and death, and see that you are born again now, then you can more properly praise God because you are already on the path God wants you to be on - you are here learning of God and praising Him now and that is every bit as important as what happens to us after we die. Some people are just born with that inherent mindset. All I know is to never lose or be weak at anything in life. What we need most is the Kingdom for clarity and directions at different times but we always we were put here to win at every major battle and war. Bad days? Rarely, but they’ve happened in the past. Bad losses? Hell nah. All my “opps” know I’m built to come out on top of any situation. And I can say that based on years of tests in different forms from so many people that I passed with flying colors. But it starts with your innate relentless, fighting spirit, or mindset if you have to work to develop that wining mindset. And always have to have the Kingdom and the divine first and foremost in every step of life before your own agenda, otherwise you will fail major tests and wars when your reasons aren’t based on righteousness. Acting like you already win is just playing your assigned role and staying persistent until your results manifest. Even if it takes a while before the tangible results appeared, you always knew you had it in the bag from the start. It was never in question in a real winner’s mind. That’s most important. 30 seconds in I could tell immediately this is not C.S. Lewis. This is worldly and unspiritual. Christians, PLEASE, ignore this video, find a reading of C.S. Lewis’ actual writings, because this would make C.S. Lewis sick. His focus was always God and serving Jesus Christ, not on serving our own interests.
