Suncoast is great for Porsche owners. Got the clear side-markers from them as well. I did get some chrome 194-type bulbs as well to remove the yellow bulb inside. Another reason I love Porsche... they have put some thoughts into the design of these lights. They are all very easy to disassemble and replace.
Solid as all get up...your paint is in top flight! yea did muh fronts, kept muh backs and looking for the door lights that shine batman in the AIR...ill settle for the batsign on my seat head rests...nice job, looks great

i only watch this because i have the same exact car pretty much (year/color/S) diff wheels ,,,, i did the clear side markers years ago. not crazy about the all red tails thanks for the content
i think you nailed it with those rear lights. I have the same on my 2006, only my car is blue which makes them "pop" even more. The red lights are actually a nod to the Carrera GT from around the same time.
I would of upgraded to the 997.2 tail lights. Personal preference. I did Euro side markers. Mesh front radiator protectors are also nice. My final 997 exterior upgrade was a replacement of OEM plastic Porsche Crest with a nice Nickel plated (gold delete) badge. Would look great on your car too.

Errrrr.... now I notice those yellow side markers on my 911. Gonna order from Sun Coast. Already did the same on my Jaguar XKR-S... wow what a difference such a small mod makes. Love the channel.
Great video and definitely doing the markers and LED's for the license plate as I have a black 997 myself that I just got. The tail light swap seems legit as well, but going to see if I like the factory ones for now as I just purchased. Cool that you are in Ohio too....I am in the North Canton area.

I can't belive how americans can look at the rear ends of their Porsches with those two backwards plastic tits pointing out. The fugliest things after "US spec side lights". I mean, if Porsche, Ferrari or Lamborghini thought their cars looked better with retarded orange lights/reflectors on sleek side panels or plastic hemorrhoids hanging from the back, they would have put them there on every car, not just the US exports. Licence plates are supposed to be long, not square.
I should have got this on video as well. The reverse lights actually still shine white. I'll see if I can grab a pic later. Not sure what sort of magic Porsche pulled off here but..
I like it. I'm not crazy about the all red tail lights but I LOVE that they're OEM Porsche lights and not the gaudy Chinese LED Ebay tail lights.
I like the original tail lights over the aftermarket lights.

Those side markers make the front end look real clean, The other two look good also. Porsche makes those mods really easy to put in

I couldn't agree more. My 997.2 Cabriolet 4S (with 12,190 Orig Miles) has OEM Clear and they were a 800.00 + upgrade. Clear rules!

Change the front fog for 991 DRLs. Same fit and the tube style DRL is cool.

Beauty-wise both ways look very good, it’s hard to make a 997 look bad, but maybe with your mod the car looks a bit more fresh.

Prefer the old taillights imo. Feel like something is missing, too much red. But still love the car!

The backup lights still work and they actually still light up white like stock, not sure how they figured that out but leave it to the Germans..

Good ways to fail inspection. All cars most have amber reflectors in the front and also you cant have red reverse color.
The light bulbs inside the clear casings are amber.
