Gunbuster is one of the best Giant Robot Animes I ever saw next to others like Gigantor and Voltron and it was all about Mankind fighting for survival against giant alien monsters and it was set around a young girl named Noriko Takaya who goes from being a timid crybaby for the first 3 episodes to becoming a hero and an inspiration to humanity piloting a gigantic 240 meter tall super robot called Gunbuster.

I don't know if anyone knows this but the 2 girls who are singing this song are the same 2 girls who voiced the 2 female leads of the series that's right it's the girls who voiced Noriko and Kasumi and if no one believes me check the English credits for episode 6 and you'll see for yourselves.
