It's funny how Mana's worried about his opponent BMing him by pausing when he's smurfing and cannon rushing the dude at the same time lol. I think a few pause spams are understandable under such circumstances, especially after losing your entire army to literal pro-level micro.
I am actually surprised that it is so hard for Mana to make cannon rush work against 3500 mmr guys. They also seem to play very descent

4:55 that's why you follow up with a stargate or stargate + robo (especially with a horrible cannon rush)
the voids will also give you high ground vision. I personally like to expand behind a cannon rush. and build the stargate at home and then scout / wait for there push (as they will always feel inclined to attack)
I could easily expand while containing my opponents but I think it would be unfair from me to make it a proper macro game at this level. Once I reach like masters I'll very likely expand and try to win with 2base instead of staying on 1.
Last guy threw the game by flying over the cannon. All he needed to do was target that cannon then hunt pylons and probes.

Losing ti canon rushes is the most frustratinf 5hing in the game for me. The skill difference between hardcore, even gm canon rushers compared to a normal player is mental. Even high level canon rushers play like freaking diamond players when the game goes on for a bit. It`s actually mental how bad they are

15:35 wasn't it an option to do the cannon on the right corner, so it could fire at the supply depots and force a lift off the barracks?
I didn't have a probe in his main, I lost it to the first marine.
@@MaNaEsports my timestamp was bad. I meant at 13:29 couldn't you put the 3 pylons slightly below the barracks and to the right (where there is 90 degree angle/corner), so the first cannon can shoot at the supply depot(s) and barracks/marines making it more valuable, but I don't know if the map allows for a cannon there.

Good games, but I also feel at a certain point you should admit your cannon rush failed and let them win. Yes, you won the last game, but it was only because it transitioned to a stalker vs void ray battle. It feels like it's going against the spirit of the challenge. Just my 2 cents.

If you don’t win with the cannon rush then admit defeat and gg out. Don’t do a half assed cannon rush and then macro it out if you fail. Wow you beat a platinum Terran in what essentially was a normal game. Makes for bm gameplay and bad content

I guess he was in disbelief. I'd just expect a gg from him at the end of the game after I thought he's a nice guy.
