Digital Civics Exchange 2024 - Closing Event - Anna Carter

Anna Carter gives an overview of the Digital Civics Exchange Project along with the pivot points leading up to the event.
Established in 2018, the annual Digital Civics Exchange involves students from around the world visiting Newcastle and working with local researchers and partners to undertake mini research projects, focused on societal challenges and citizen empowerment through the design of civic technologies.
The closing event took place on the May 30th 2024 where students showcased their ideas and design work and took questions from stakeholders on their projects.
