Vedic Teaching are the supreme but problem is that, how to know that the texts we have now are the real authentic texts without any misinterpretation, that's where a realised guru is needed who himself has led the path, if he a realised being then it's not hard for him validate any facts, becuz then he is constant contact with the Chitti as well as Ishvara.
There is nothing that he cannot know, its just that there are very less beings of that stature, and they don't publicize, they don't need to market themselves, if the disciple is ready then masters appear.
rahi baat bhoot pret to it's our fear /avidhya that feeds this kind of negativity.
We humans need to go beyond this physical plane.
