Joe went completely off-script here. And Colbert made a decision that starts to shape his style in late night and he let him talk. his. bloody. heart out. Bravo, Colbert. Most other late-night comedians would get antsy with no laughter from the audience and either throw in a joke to lighten the mood or refer to the cue cards for another dumb, network-appeasing, late-night-talk-show question. But not you, Stephen. Not. You. Once again, Bra-fucking-vo, Colbert. Brilliant stuff here and the part of the George Clooney interview that sadly did not make it to air.
+Muzikrazy213 Yep, could you imagine such an honest conversation on Jimmy Fallon? Love Fallon, but Stephen Colbert knows how to interview his guests and get the best out of them. This interview is great.
+Muzikrazy213 Absolutely. The best interviewers only speak when absolutely necessary. Michael Parkinson in Britain had the same talent for letting guests just pour their hearts out. It's amazing to see Colbert doing so well so early on.
This...this is why I watch Stephen Colbert and why I watched Letterman and Jon Stewart. Fallon is fun, his games with celebrities are of course entertaining and likable, but with Colbert and his ilk I get genuine conversations from people who matter, and moment of introspection and understanding and just genuine reflections of human experience. That's so, so much more satisfying than celebrities lip syncing songs from other celebrities.
Yeah, Fallon is like a gimmicky toy. He's okay, but Colbert is just sheer brilliant. He has no need to feign laughter at every stupid thing the guest says.
+switchbuckle5th Completely agree, I love Fallon cause he is a lot of fun and seems like such a nice fun guy, but Colbert is on a whole other professional and real level
I lost my beautiful son (Josh) this past year. This comment is simply to honor a man whose empathy for others as expressed during the interview with Colbert gave us all a glimpse into the man who lost his son, which I can attest that losing a child is the greatest pain anyone can experience...yet Biden was selfless in his compassion for others in this interview. if i were a Democrat, I think Biden is who I would want to represent my party. i cried listening to him speak about Beau and cemented my belief that Joe is a genuine guy that anyone would love to have the opportunity to meet one-on-one. Hand salute to you sir and to your son Beau for all that your family has endured to serve this great Country.
Kimmel is just mean, Conan is very sarcastic (in a funny way), Fallon is somewhat annoying but has entertaining guests, but Colbert....he's genuine. He's funny. He brings guests that no other late show host would bring, people who actually matter rather than just a bunch of celebrities, and then he lets these people speak their hearts out and responds empathetically. Glad to see this continue from the Colbert Report/Daily Show, because in the end, that's really what sets him (and Jon Stewart) apart: being able to elegantly tackle issues beyond "who lip sings better"
+Potato Battery Why do you say Kimmel is mean. When it comes to interviews he's been one of the better hosts as of late. Fallon has completely destroyed talk on the tonight show. The clear aim with the tonight show is to gain traction with young millennials and it shows. All games and folly.
Conan and Kimmel have more edgy hilarious adult/college oriented skits. Fallon is more wholesome with the singing and games. Colbert is intelligent humor and wit with more in indepth interviews.
+stockjonebills Kimmel recently did that whole thing where he took jabs on RUclips gaming which resulted in a lot of hate. Not saying he's mean, but he seemed very ignorant of something he did not understand. Comedians aren't ignorant, they understand what they're making fun of before they do it.
Fallon's a nice guy but very kid friendly and lighthearted conan seems like a nice person but adult oriented, and Kimmel seems like an asshole whose also a kiss ass
Coming from someone with a fairly conservative background: Like Colbert the amount of sheer sincerity this man has after all of his time in the front lines of politics is amazing. I genuinely hope more people follow in his lead. He might not see himself as a good candidate for a president but I certainly see why he could be. In this day in age there are hundreds of thousands of people going through things like this in daily life. Knowing you have a president who wears the same shoe as you is definitely a country wide morale booster. We're all going through this together. It gets kind of lost in the shuffle but it's true. Having a Commander in Chief to exemplify that wouldn't be a bad thing.
+Corbin Dick not really. In his old show, he played a character. That character was an extreme conservative for the sake of satire, whereas Colbert is really less radical and closer to the middle than that character.
Corbin Dick I never said I came from a conservative background, like Colbert. I know his character is a satire. I said I was surprised of Biden's sincerity, like Colbert was.
+David Larson Cobert is a liberal ,don't believe me watch the new trump Colbert show last night.Colbert is a joke.Trump is getting hit from every media outlet......trump is the man that wants to make America great again.Hes our last hope......sorry bud but you need to wake up.
Buzz Zu I live in Scranton, and have run into Joe on a number of occasions. He is one of the most friendly, down-to-earth people you'd ever want to meet.
Buzz Zu are you joking is the question I'm asking you. Do you approve of a previous VP who HAS inappropriately touched young vulnerable girls and as I've said before says to them how "young girls make me horny" stop being in denial and listen to the actual facts and evidence that prove he is a sexual predator.
Biden may be a part of the Obama-Clinton gang, but he's so different than them. He speaks from his heart, is honest, and is himself. He doesn't seem rehearsed, and is open about his feelings. His words about the mindset of someone running for president is pure wisdom. Of course he's said some silly things, but he's a genuinely nice person.
Just read your comment, and it gave me one of these "aw shit" moments... Completely agree with you - I do think Obama's not a bad person at all, but he turned into way too much of a politician for my liking, especially around the time he had to get reelected... The real Obama is reemerging as he's on his way out, after being asleep for too many years. Obama's the type of person who would do more good outside of office I believe. Biden's the contrary... He's just like you described, and that's precisely what makes him the best and the worst candidate... Like, if it was him running against Trump, he'd beat his ass so easily... Interestingly, I think the best people around the Obama clan were the ones who had virtually no power... I really think Joe Biden and Michelle Obama are the voices the American people truly need to hear, but you can also be certain that they're the ones who will never pursue any sort of mandate, they keep saying they don't want it, and you know you trust them... I hope whoever gets sworn in next January will know to surround themselves with people of that quality -- it ain't looking good at the moment, when I see them two goofy ass nobodies Mike Pence and Tim Kaine, you know they won't be allowed less than 10yds from a mic...
You, justifiably, say kind words about Biden but just listen to what he says about Obama. He would run through a wall for Obama. The has said time and time again on how much he loves Obama and believes and stands by him wholeheartedly. If you feel Biden is a great man then remember that birds of a feather flock together. Obama and Biden are not cut from the same cloth as Clinton and it has been reported on Obama's distain for her, as much as Reagan's distain for Bush Jr. Our two party system is set up where you don't politic for the best candidate available but who ever your party has up next.
Spencer Frank Clayton I respect u because u because unlike the other die-hard trump fans on this comment section, u are at least willing to show some respect for democratic leaders #bipartisancooperation
This is some REAL SHIT. NO ONE talks like this in Washington. I don't really like Biden or the entire Obama administration but huge respect. He is truly speaking as a human from the heart about what it's like to be at such an intense, high level position in the world
+The TT Absolutely fucking not. Bernie Sanders deserves a running mate such as Elizabeth Warren. Then we have a chance to change this fucking country. Hahaha well I guess we can also change this country with Trump, but not for the better though!
@scratchfg212 I love the Sanders circlejerk. The man mutters the words "universal healthcare" and "take down big banks" and all of a sudden he's the next coming.
+BickSayless Listen to his speech on the Senate floor about the Iran Nuclear Deal. Sanders is far more than just "universal health care" and "taking down big banks."
Vice President Biden talks of being choked up in front of the troops as a chacter flaw to be overcome if you run for the presidency. Not to back talk you Sir, but on this point I wholeheartedly disagree. That expression of emotion belies a sensitivity, and heartfelt sense of what it means to be human, that is greatly lacking in the political sphere of today. Your dignity, strength, and humility, are what make you unique, and among a select group of politicians to be trusted. You have my sincerest of apologies regarding the losses of your wife and son, as well. Many would have crumbled under such an emotional burden, but you persevere. The memory of the kindness, and decency, of your family are carried on in you, and you are representing them very well. God Speed to you Sir, and if you ever do run for President someday, you will have this voter's full support. :)
Stephen Colbert. Amazing man. Satire, because real topics need discussing. Blunt honesty, because it needs to be spoken about now. He may be a funny man, but when something takes a serious step, atleast Colbert knows how to do it, and he does it well. John Stewart was a great guy, his satire always had a spin with laughter. I'm glad he was around, I'm glad Colbert had gotten his own show. I'm glad Colbert makes thought provoking content. Thank you Joe Biden for speaking wholesomely, and thanks again Stephen Colbert for being an amazing human being.
Throw John Oliver in there too. Oliver tackles non-PC issues and offers some insight of how to solve them, all through clever satire. Another one of Jon Stewart's successes.
+The Independent Joe does have my vote if runs. If not Hillary. Sorry but Bernie is my 3rd choice. Who I will support if he gets the nod. That said, don't ridicule my personal choices. I know the reasons people dislike Hillary. I also know some people's thoughts on Joe. I have my own reasons and that's what matters.
***** I find Bernie Sanders to be overly ambitious and utopian on many of his key issues (Generally speaking though, his ideals are truly great). Clinton on the other hand is a centrist likely to take some detrimental center-right stances, such as implementation of the Keystone XL. Biden is also relatively centrist, but with more liberal excitement, practicality, empathy, and honesty, which is why I find him to be the best candidate.
His faith keeps him going. I've lost family, nothing close to him, and I find the same power in the prayer and ritual of Mass. It is a peaceful experience like none I have ever found elsewhere.
The man gives the most heartfelt "STFU America, I'm not running!" and all you can say is "Run Joe?" How thick are you? Give the guy the respect he deserves and actually LISTEN to what he is saying. He needs time to grieve so leave him alone.
+JesusJones1024 When I first heard that his son, before his death, asked him to run it broke my heart. I understand his son adored his father and thought he could be king of the world, but it seemed a lot of stress to place on a man who was going to be dealing with a broken heart.
Stephen impressed the hell out of me in this interview. It was done with such care, such class and such ask a question and then let the person 'really answer'. And Joe Biden did that with such depth, honesty and integrity.... this is a great interview and an example of what we can learn from them. Good stuff Stephen. Be proud because this is great television.
Damn it’s crazy to see how Trump’s misinformation campaign has slandered Joe so much. No one is even allowed to feel like Joe is a human anymore without being criticized.
I met Joe Biden back in 1978 when he spoke at the mid-term Oregon Democratic Party convention in Eugene. He was articulate and eloquent. I have followed his career through the years, read his autobiography, _et al., and have always found him to be a fine man: Honest, sincere, fair.
@@LoekTheKing he disappoints me too. He put so many black people behind bars with his crime bill and he hasn't apologized either. Meanwhile Trump helps them with lowest black unemployment ever. We're going to be ok as long as he gets reelected 🤞🙏
After recently watching so much hate and division for the position of P.O.T.U.S., it is so heartwarming to watch a political figure be so human. I need more Joe's and Beau's in my life.
For all the americans watching this, would you want Joe Biden to run for president? As an outsider looking in he seems like a very genuine person (which can be quite rare in politics) and he appears as a very credible candidate. Also great interview by Colbert.
+IWP23 If he runs, I won't be voting for him. He is part of the same system that is failing the American people. America doesn't need a second Obama. Bernie Sanders and Jill Stein are the only candidates I support so far.
This is it. This is what is missing from today's talk shows. This was old school. I don't always want to laugh at stupid scripted jokes and skits that mostly bomb and see plugs for upcoming celebrity movies for an entire 48 minutes. I want to learn something I never knew and take something away from a guest too. Outstanding job Colbert!!
After he won, after the terrorism at the capitol, after the inauguration. It is a relief, but just undoing the worst trump did is not enough. There need to be a LOT of reforms - to make sure someone like that can't happen again, and to drag the US into the modern world. Joe is a mostly well meaning bloke, but he hasn't got what it takes to get the reforms the US needs.
I always liked Biden. He seems like a real genuine guy. I don't care what anyone has to say about the guy. To be honest, I stopped listening to Republican opinion after the Bush years. You vote for Bush your opinion means nothing to me.
+MisterBinx Same thing with me but for the Clintons. After Bill it was like ... really ... you want us to vote for another one? I completely shut my mind to any Democratic opinions and leanings simply because I didn't like one, I'm real rational.
***** You'd think so, but she still leads in the Democratic primary. Her supporters eat up anything she says and calls her opposition sexist and evil ... it's pretty dumb. But if Sanders tries to point out her email thing as well as her flip-flop stance on issues he'll be called a sexist by her supporters, sadly.
Mr Colbert, thank you for this interview. You have brought the humanity out of people who have been viewed in the public eye to barely have the depth that they actually do. To the public, they are only just political figures, robotic and insufficient people, lacking in any real connection and genuineness, that here, has been displayed in the space of only 20 minutes. I think the distinct lack of real, empathetic and respectful conversations with celebrities and politicians alike has crafted an almost materialistic, dry, scrappy shell of them, instead of displaying their true selves. I really hate it when I look at a politician and see no depth, no passion (almost dispassionate), no realness in their eyes. Which is why I hate fame culture these days. But Mr Colbert, I hope you keep up this style of interviewing, especially with the politicians you bring to your show, as I feel like it's time that the citizens of your country sees them as people, and judges with clarity rather than judging from a cloud of deceit, hollow promises and fake persona. Thank you, to be hit with such genuineness from a late night talk show has really overwhelmed me. And I love this.
Watching this while waiting for Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. It boggles the mind how people can prefer Trump to this man.
Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Chair of DNC. She's the one who decided democrats would only have six debates this year, and that Republican idiocy would dominate the airwaves. There are attempts to challenge her decision, but she's basically saying "it's my call, you don't get to decide anything, fuck off." Worst thing is that the debates don't start until after the New York primary registration deadline for those who'd want to switch parties. Given Bernie's skill at attracting independents and republicans, it's looking a lot like DWS is out to fight Hillary's battles by making it harder for him to win New York.
+Tim Arthur Considering how much Bernie is rising atm, I can't see Hillary having a real chance come primaries despite the few debates. He's only going to get better known the more this drags on. Besides, Bernie has literally said the same things the past 20 something years, if you want to see what he'll say in the debates just look up every other time he's gone up against someone xD
I feel like with Stephen the whole show is now a complete package. You have his great comedic style and sense of humour paired with his interviewing skill.
I love watching Stephen Colbert interviewing people. He has a way of getting them comfortable and opening up that is so rare in a talk show scene dominated by games and superficial jokes. Listening to him interviewing Biden is wonderful and sensitive and very satisfying to watch.
That was one of the most transparent and human interviews I've seen in recent memory. No script, no agenda, holding back. Absolutely awesome interview. Side bar, I love the fact his name is Joe. Simple and almost a culmination of his personality.
What a refreshing difference between this man and the person that held the office previously. President Joe Biden doesn’t give himself credit by talking about his many accomplishments. Instead, he gives others the praise for his success. Thank you Joe. I know your son Beau is looking down on you with great love, pride, and respect!
The crowd shouts, unanimously... “Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe...” . Sounds as good then as it does NOW. God bless America. Great to meet cha, President Biden!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I love colbert because he isn't uncomfortable with no laughs, he didn't have to talk about Instagram or Netflix or any cheap outlets, he jumped into a very intense subject and didn't cut in trying to be funny, Joe biden is excellent also
Just read about Joe. What he's been through is insane. The fact that he has the biggest smile in the room proves how strong he is. I'd love to sit with him and hear him tell stories for hours. I sound lame, but who cares?
Toophelka if you really believe that then the fact that his kid died in war should be considered as some sort of cosmic justice to you? see?it all evens out.
He does that to everyone, goddammit. He does that to Obama, for Christ's sake! This is ridiculous. Your claim makes no sense. Do you really think Obama would act the way he does around Biden if he believed something like this? The two of them love each other. Do your research next time.
Beautiful interview. It's not always easy to watch such honesty and emotion on television. Beau is a reflection of his father and vice versa. Where's part 1 though? Why did it get pulled?
No matter your politics you have to appreciate and applaud this man for his integrity, his compassion and his honesty. For those of you that can't wait to see him publicly blunder shame on you.
There is nothing more enjoyable and entertaining than watching two good ole'Catholics speaking to each other. The empathy they have for each other is enduring and enjoyable.
Colbert's interviews should be like this from time to time! Late Night television for intellectuals and deep thinking people rather than laugh track baffoons! Although I do love Colbert's signature style humour too of course!
Thank you Stephen for reminding us about this interview. It was so heartwarming to say as the interview concluded "And now PRESIDENT OF THESE UNITED STATES!" YEH! He really is amazing, and so are you Stephen! I just love your interviews... Jojo from Canada (I love Americans. You're our brothers & sisters from another mother & father! LOL....)
We need more men like Joe Biden. I'm not sure he'd make a great president (I'm not sure he thinks he'd make a great president either), but damn if he isn't a symbol of what we should all strive to be like in this country.
Would like to step onto the soapbox to say that, while I am an intelligent individual fully capable of understanding, discussing, and debating politics, I've never had the interest to do so until I let Colbert engage me. I will be watching all the "Episodes" on RUclips and am genuinely excited that Colbert is here to really contextualize politics for people who want to cut through the crap. Major thumbs up over here!
+Amanda Renee You really need to start with some blogs and non partisan sites, like Foreign Policy, The Monkey Cage, 538, Real Clear Politics, Politico, and such. Mainstream Media is literally owned by the 1 percent. Grassroots stuff is much more honest, yet it doesn't have the polish of the MSM's stuff. It can largely depend on the person running the show, but they are worth a visit. You can also look through the Library of Congress for some really good stuff on current topics, and the Cato Institute, though Libertarian, doesnt side with either major party, so it's pretty solid as well, as a think tank. Another thing to look into, for specific candidates, is to look through the voting records of what they voted on, then search for those bills and see what the summaries of them tell you. Honestly, you can go straight to the source of the Candidates' sites and then fact checking them. CSPAN (though many consider it very boring and droll) is an AMAZING way to see politics in action. It doesn't have the fluff of the Mainstream Media, but it is really, really good. You can even watch live debates on the House and Senate floor, and the press conferences of the President or his Chief of Staff, as well as your regular news coverage.
Thanks Stephen, and thanks tto CBS for share this fantastic interview from the beginning to the end with the whole world. Thank You Very Much! And again, New Best Late Night Host is in town!!
I feel Colbert is really gonna set the late night world bar really high because he can have poignant and deep conversations like this. I don't think Fallon and Kimmel are capable of doing that because they do more corky celebrity banter. Really looking forward to more Colbert
Man that was a good interview. So genuine. We need more of this. Stephen never ceases to amaze me as well. Incredible that a guy who made a career off of satire can turn it around and become such a wonderfully genuine host. Stephen should run for president, someday. He is one bright bulb.
I don't care what side of the political isle you reside on but how can anyone with a beating heart dislike this particular clip? A father speaking about his son doing the greatest sacrifice a person can make for their country.
I run on to RUclips after school or before or both just to escape the news or what's going on in my life and I just run to Joe to hear some comforting words from a comforting man. Everything in the world around me just disappears. Love you Joe, you WILL WIN!
Joe went completely off-script here. And Colbert made a decision that starts to shape his style in late night and he let him talk. his. bloody. heart out.

+Luiz Barros Yeah I liked Ferguson too. I do like Kimmel a lot as well. Colbert will bring humor with more in depth interviews.

+BC VC yep, Trump is narcissist. I don't care for Bobby Jindl but his description of Trump was spot on.
+416mcp. It sure was.
+416mcp I have to find this description that Jindl made. People were talking about it at work saying it was spot on.

+dreaminginnoother It's certainly gotten you places.
"This president has had more land on his desk than any president in modern history"
Oh...oh Joe...if only you knew how much you'd have to deal with...
Yes. I think he's starting with more on his desk than passed across Obama's in 8 years.
oh my goodness yes
Um do you really think that he’s working lol come on

Biden/Sanders 2016
+The TT Sanders is gonna hit his shit out of the park when he appears on here
+The TT Absolutely fucking not.
+BickSayless because he's been "muttering" these words consistently for over 25 years
+BickSayless Listen to his speech on the Senate floor about the Iran Nuclear Deal.
+Erica Truchon Wife and daughter first, then his son.
+Erica Truchon very well said
+Erica Truchon Heck yeah!
+Erica Truchon Very nicely done! He reminds me of Harry Truman and that's a high complement.
Pervert and child fondler.. Yep you get the sick vote Joe plugs boy.
If he runs, he has my vote
No, senator sander is far better.
+Outkasted1980 What are your reasons? Enlighten us, will you?
+Outkasted1980 why don't you like Bernie. Just wondering
I love Vice President Joe Biden. He's truly a man.
I'm not American so don't have skin in the game but you guys need to elect this man
We did!
@@IIIllllIIIIlllll I'm rooting for you guys

Best president and Vice President on the planet. Thank you Obama and Joe for giving this country.
Giving this country what?

+The Real hah funny. like your miserable life
Cristian Proust Racist Muslim, see?
Joe Biden is one of the strongest people I know. He's lost so much, yet he keeps going. Idk how he does it.
and now he’s president
His faith keeps him going. I've lost family, nothing close to him, and I find the same power in the prayer and ritual of Mass. It is a peaceful experience like none I have ever found elsewhere.
Still? :D
What are YOU smoking?
Strong are you kidding me he can hardly walk!!
Awesome. I agree with you 100%.
+JesusJones1024 The problem is that we NEED him more than he needs us.
Stephen impressed the hell out of me in this interview. It was done with such care, such class and such ask a question and then let the person 'really answer'. And Joe Biden did that with such depth, honesty and integrity.... this is a great interview and an example of what we can learn from them. Good stuff Stephen. Be proud because this is great television.
that man deserves a tour through America just so people can give him hugs and talk to him over coffee.
+shakespeareancupcake He would do that too, sit down and chat over coffee cuz that is the kind guy he is.
Damn it’s crazy to see how Trump’s misinformation campaign has slandered Joe so much. No one is even allowed to feel like Joe is a human anymore without being criticized.
He’s about to be our president!
@@IIIllllIIIIlllll And now he is! Not mine, but the US's, and the rest of the world is relieved.
Or a high five...in the face....with a chair.
I met Joe Biden back in 1978 when he spoke at the mid-term Oregon Democratic Party convention in Eugene. He was articulate and eloquent. I have followed his career through the years, read his autobiography, _et al., and have always found him to be a fine man: Honest, sincere, fair.
BIDEN 2020
Agree
Who’s here after he is running against Trump
Edit: here after biden won
When this came out I was all in for Biden but I have to say Trump 2020! All the way 💪
I came to really see how much more cognitive he was then compared to now.
@@DundyMuffs I am disappointed.
@@LoekTheKing he disappoints me too. He put so many black people behind bars with his crime bill and he hasn't apologized either. Meanwhile Trump helps them with lowest black unemployment ever. We're going to be ok as long as he gets reelected 🤞🙏
@@DundyMuffs _Trump_ disappoints me.
What a beautiful interview. Well done Colbert.
+IWP23 yes but i doubt he'll run this year, i think he'll probably run the next go around
+IWP23 If he runs, I won't be voting for him. He is part of the same system that is failing the American people. America doesn't need a second Obama. Bernie Sanders and Jill Stein are the only candidates I support so far.
Aidyn3000 how in your opinion has Obama failed the American people?
+IWP23 he really does, but the last person that was this genuine and human was killed in dallas
Joe is a walking gaffe machine. He repeated Robert Kennedy's speech as his own.
Who's watching this right after Biden won in 2020?
Me!
I am and are so happy that he won.
@@lola0204 are you still happy
@@fionaanderson5796 still feel this way.
The most human late night interview I've seen. And from a politician at that! Good on you both
I always liked Biden.
***** I'd hope so, Imma kill myself if she ends up becoming president.
Crowd chanting "Joe! Joe!"
Joe: "Be careful what you wish for"
Five years later, he becomes President.
And THANK GOD he did!
Watching this while waiting for Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. It boggles the mind how people can prefer Trump to this man.
American prefer celebrities, that's why.
I think all of those states went blue.
I don't care about your political party, this was a BEAUTIFUL interview. thanks Stephen!!
This needs to be back up in everyone's recommendations in 2020!
Now all the comments are gonna be:
Who is here after he won ?

So
🇦🇺 Australian ally here. All liberal democracies of the world are celebrating with the USA.
"We had 13 debates", nice little jab at DWS there. Good going, Joe.
+Tim Arthur right haha.
Fucking 6 debates this time, like what the fuck.
+Tim Arthur Whats DWS?
Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Chair of DNC. She's the one who decided democrats would only have six debates this year, and that Republican idiocy would dominate the airwaves. There are attempts to challenge her decision, but she's basically saying "it's my call, you don't get to decide anything, fuck off."
Worst thing is that the debates don't start until after the New York primary registration deadline for those who'd want to switch parties. Given Bernie's skill at attracting independents and republicans, it's looking a lot like DWS is out to fight Hillary's battles by making it harder for him to win New York.
+Tim Arthur thanks for this
+Tim Arthur Considering how much Bernie is rising atm, I can't see Hillary having a real chance come primaries despite the few debates.
Simple and almost a culmination of his personality.
do you still feel this way?
A genuine good guy.
mm
What a refreshing difference between this man and the person that held the office previously. President Joe Biden doesn’t give himself credit by talking about his many accomplishments. Instead, he gives others the praise for his success. Thank you Joe. I know your son Beau is looking down on you with great love, pride, and respect!
He has none. I love the rising prices of the entire world. $5 a gallon gas is so great.
The crowd shouts, unanimously... “Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe...” . Sounds as good then as it does NOW. God bless America. Great to meet cha, President Biden!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Oh dear... just heard the line... ,” be careful what cha wish for “ love it, Joe. Wished for you for so long
This is why we are so glad that you ran for the POTUS. You will serve well Mr. President Joe Biden

and now as our 46th President, he said "his whole soul is in it!" Thank you!
I love colbert because he isn't uncomfortable with no laughs, he didn't have to talk about Instagram or Netflix or any cheap outlets, he jumped into a very intense subject and didn't cut in trying to be funny, Joe biden is excellent also

I agree that Joe Biden is more than qualified to be the POTUS. Go Joe!
Just read about Joe. What he's been through is insane. The fact that he has the biggest smile in the room proves how strong he is. I'd love to sit with him and hear him tell stories for hours. I sound lame, but who cares?
Absolutely not lame.
Wise people find wise people to admire.
Lame
Wow...not what I expected.
Cool interview
He’s about to be the President
at the 10 second mark...if the VP before Biden was there, the audience would be chanting "Dick...Dick...Dick...Dick...Dick..."
He does seem like an awesome guy. I am really pulling for Bernie, but Joe would be a solid second in terms of the nomination.
Trump, this is a man who sacrificed a lot for his country, Not you, a person who defines sacrifice as being successful.
Toophelka if you really believe that then the fact that his kid died in war should be considered as some sort of cosmic justice to you? see?it all evens out.
Toophelka you do know that Obama sees Joe as his brother right??
He does that to everyone, goddammit. He does that to Obama, for Christ's sake!
This is ridiculous. Your claim makes no sense. Do you really think Obama would act the way he does around Biden if he believed something like this? The two of them love each other.
Do your research next time.
Other than breitbart , cite your source.
Beautiful interview. It's not always easy to watch such honesty and emotion on television. Beau is a reflection of his father and vice versa. Where's part 1 though? Why did it get pulled?

There is nothing more enjoyable and entertaining than watching two good ole'Catholics speaking to each other. The empathy they have for each other is enduring and enjoyable.
Colbert's interviews should be like this from time to time! Late Night television for intellectuals and deep thinking people rather than laugh track baffoons! Although I do love Colbert's signature style humour too of course!

Stephen fucking Colbert...you did it bro...you fucking did it. That was heartfelt and amazing. Late night TV will never be the same.
Amazing interview! Bravo Colbert!
+Amanda Renee You can actually watch the episodes on CBS's website. However, you have to do so within a week of release.
