Hey Bryan, nice job on the casting. For the last Simpsons video, I hope you can cast Apu, Manjula, Cletus, Duffman, and many other Simpsons characters you missed. Also for your new casting, I hope you can do a recast for a Multiverse Cinematic Universe of Power Rangers based on the Original shows and the Boom Studios comics.

I thought as Willie was a "stereotypic Scot" you could go for a non-scot that looked the part and mimic the accent but you absolutely nailed it with Graham McTavish! He is perfect for the role and would nail it.

Ed Helms is absolutely amazing casting, seeing he already played Principal Krupp in the Captain Underpants film.
J.K. Simmons is great at whatever he does, but Dean Norris (Breaking Bad's Hank Schrader) was the first one that popped into my head for Chalmers.

Hi Byran, great video - really loved this series on Live-Action versions of The Simpsons. I would to see more interpretation of more characters in the future including: Duffman, Sideshow MEL, Mayor Quimby, Abu; Kent Brockman, Otto the Bus Driver, Doctor Hibbert and Fat Tony.
There are PLENTY of other characters I didn't mentioned, since there were over several dozens characters that are complete icons throughout the cartoon series. So keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to more fancasting videos.

Because The Simpsons premiered while The Wonder Years was still on the air, I always got the impression that Millhouse was modelled after Kevin Arnold's nerdy best friend, Paul Sorvino a.k.a. Paul Pfieffer from WY because they do look strongly alike if your compare photos.

I don't think that I have seen all of your videos on your picks for casting a live action version of the Simpsons, but I would like to know who you think would be a good actor to play a live action version of the mysterious (18-19 year old teenager?) house guest, Roy, from the episode "The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show". Roy is my favorite "Simpsons" character who is not a member of the core Simpsons family.

At the end when I heard Duff Man I immediately thought of John Cena. Maybe not the best casting, but I think he could bring the intensity that character needs, oh yeah!

Bill Burr as Groundskeeper Willie. He would steal the show. His comedic timing and energy would be perfect IMO. Would need to grasp a half decent Scotish accent. But I have heard him attempt one on a podcast and he wasn't that far off. So I have no doubt he could hit it out of the park with some practice.

If this movie was going to be made, it's long passed its time, sadly. If it came out when the actual Simpsons movie came out, with a good script, it would have been LEGENDARY. I believe it could have been done right and featuring ALL of these characters to some degree. A good 2 hour story with a bit of family interaction and adventure featuring Bart as the lead, forget it, a billion worldwide at the very least.

Your casting was good but I don’t know about Ed Helms as principal Skinner and JK Simmons as superintendent Chalmers. I don’t know who I will personally cast as Skinner but for Chalmers definitely Kelsey Grammer.
We need the Simpson family Grandmothers. As she already voiced the character, Glenn Close would be a great fit for Mona Simpson, and Dame Helen Mirren would be able to easily pull off Jacqueline Bouvier. Would love to see Kent Brockman (maybe Bryan Cranston would work?) and Professor Frink too.
I know this is just a dream casting, but it's being done well enough that I'm upset that it isn't being done. Lol
I thought Kelsey Grammer would make a good Superninento Chalmers. He even looks like him! And there could be a scene between Chalmers (Grammer) and Sideshow Bob (Cumberbatch). 😂 JK Simmons is also a really good choice for the role as you suggested. 🙂
Your choice for Willie is ...okay, I guess. But I would have loved to have seen Bill Burr take this role. The Scottish accent aside, he has the build, the hair, and the hair-trigger temper that would match PERFECTLY with Groundskeeper Willie. Graham McTavish is just a little too serious, in my opinon.
