Boyfriend were awesome, but Starship did them so dirty because they were pushed into Japan and stayed there forever and that didn't help them getting popular in Korea and yeah.. sadly they didn't reach the popularity they could have. Bounce is my favorite song and it's also part of their fairytale series - they did fairytale concept 3 times and are basically known for it - Bounce was Alice in Wonderland, Witch was vampires vs witches I think and Obsession was Peter Pan - with them being the lost boys. I highly recommend reacting to Obsession and Witch - to me those are their best songs along with Bounce.

I was wondering if you were going to notice the twins lol. Boyfriend deserved ALL the good things. They were AMAZING. I wish people appreciated them more when they were around. Alarm is still on my favorites playlist 6 years later, it's my absolute favorite from them. Bounce is one of my least favorite songs from them, but it's one of the best concepts.
Rather than being in a 2nd gen mood, I think it's just that Boyfriend make great music 😎 I spent a while trying to parse the story of I-Yah, but I decided it was basically just an elaborate self-insert, with a single female character whose in school--and all her male school mates are in love with her and they're *hot members of Boyfriend!*
XD I forgot to mention about there being twins, sorry! I'll also mention that their debut track is titled Boyfriend, too save potential confusion in pt 2.
Pleaseee do Janus and Boyfriend. They are like my most favorite songs from Boyfriend, ahh yes. The song from Boyfriend is Boyfriend lol
EXACTLY! Janus is actually one of my favorite songs in the entire kpop industry and I’ve been around for 9 years but i still can’t get over it!

Whoever chose these songs they basically chose one of each from their big 3 eras (not counting after 2015, bc starship abandoned them)

ah, Boyfriend was like one of the first boy groups to debut when I first got into K-pop so they have a special place in my heart :') especially songs like "Don't Touch My Girl" and "Janus" as well, I loved that 2nd-gen-style orchestra sound that they used for accompaniment (which kind of got "upgraded" as we got to hear in E'last's music) :D
The leader is Donghyun, he's an amazing vocalist and did very well on "The Unit". Hyunseong and Jeongmin are the other main vocalists. Minwoo is the maknae and main dancer/rapper, while we have the Jo twins, Youngmin and Kwangmin - the first identical twins (take that, Crayon Pop, lol) :D

@@연이-w4l They ended their contract with Woolim and left for China - they released music there... but I don't know anything else and the last news I heard about them was 5 years ago lol
My ultimate bias boy group :( Some of the members are still promoting. I do recommend listening to Lee Jeongmins solo songs
