He's Minwoo, the maknae and main dancer. He's also very good at girl group dance. It often is the littlest member that has these traits just like ONEUS' Hwanwoong xD
Oh my god I just opened RUclips, saw 'Boyfriend' and MAN I clicked SO FAST :0 So happy to see this and I am almost crying TT TT THANK YOU SO MUCH for appreciating, reacting to and introducing this REALLY TALENTED yet severely overshadowed and VERY underrated boy group. They were the first Kpop group I stanned and I have followed them from 2013 all the way until now. That's a good many years of watching them grow and I was just so sad when they disbanded, but yet happy that they get to do what they each want to do now. In terms of songwriting and producing talent, I think they are one of the first self-producing groups that I saw from their era, and that is also why I admire them so much. They always stay true to their sound and produce very unique music and concepts, a bit like ONEUS. They just deserve so much more than they got and it is SO SAD that they were grossly mistreated and mismanaged the way they were by Starship Entertainment. Who even kills their Korean fame and ships them off to Japan for a good few years when they just won first place at a music show for their song? What kind of horrible business decision is that? Who gives a promising up and coming group a hiatus for MORE THAN 2 YEARS? The amount of mismanagement on this front, coming from a company as big as Starship, is just horrendous. Although they disbanded, it is so good to see their members still close, still together and still doing really well on their own. They still celebrate their debut anniversaries, which I feel is so really cute and so sweet. In fact, I think a lot of them have expressed that though they wish to reunite at some point, they are happier now. That just shows how much they suffered under Starship. They are still producing music, but at least now it is music they actually want and are proud of. Minwoo now has a RUclips channel called MINU, the twins are doing shows, movies and musicals in Japan, Donghyun is acting with Sidus HQ, Jeongmin continues songwriting and founded his own small company if I'm not wrong, and Hyunseong is still singing (he recently released his new song Nothing Happens under his RUclips Shiminam Hyunseung). Yaaay \o/ Thank you! for both parts of this request I tried to do 1 song from each of their 3 eras, so you get a good variety. Janus and Love Style are my personal favorites :> I was really glad that you mentioned their springiness, that's always been one of my favorite thing about them as dancers. I appreciate that their choreographer didn't get lazy the way some do with even-numbered group: they're rarely sticking to a formation where one member is hidden in the back. The debut MV for Boyfriend is DEEPLY cheesy, but the song is cute and the shoreo surprisiongly complex, so I always appreciated that. You also had the right of it with thinking the dancers were meant to 'shadow' the members in Janus: the song is titled that based on the two-faced god and in the MV they're pretty explicitly portraying a jekyl/hyde sort of situation. 8) The curtains for Witch always looked really cool on stage, so definitely look up a performance some time!

Even though im a dude and boyfriend is obviously intended for female audience, this is the only kpop group that i’d followed. Their songs and choreo are damn good. Too bad starship didn’t promote them well
