Such a huge difference in not only tone quality, but intonation! Wow! I really wish this video had existed when I was first looking into teaching classroom ukulele. We use the Makala Watermans. They really are okay, hold their tuning well, and I have 4 colors so that's a fun thing each time - "what color do you get today?" But the tone quality is not what the Flight delivers! Yes!! There is a huuuge difference. That’s why I added the play along with all the ukuleles together at the end. Thank you for letting me know how you feel about the waterman ukes. It’s good to know for future reference
@@ronnieball9086 It might be on the high side. I will say when I purchased them I was used to high action and that is something that's especially challenging for young kids.
I would agree with what you said You got to be careful with some cheaper ukuleles cuz they're not set up that great But the good thing about a ukulele is you could get one cheaper than most other instruments and you can get a pretty good one without spending a whole lot
Excellent video! I am a huge fan of "cheap ukes", not because I'm on a limited budget but because I'm just a cheap kinda gal. I also enjoy tweaking unplayable instruments, and have enjoyed "rescuing" a lot of poorly crafted ukes. I have bought $20 ukes new that played really well, and I've spent over $200 on new ukes with buzzes that I could not remedy. Some brands are simply badly made across the board. Some are hit and miss (poor quality control). Two inexpensive brands that are pretty consistently strong per your criteria (which you describe so well!) are Dolphin Makala (my red one cost me about $40 a few years ago and now sells for around $60) and enya Nova U (my black soprano cost me just under $50). These two brands/models are definitely worth this price point. I appreciate this video so much; in the uke world, the phrase "You get what you pay for" is often inaccurate.
Okay so, my first ukulele was reeeeaaally bad (it only cost 20€) but playable.... my second Ukulele was really expensive it cost 217€ (really high quality) My third Ukulele only cost 29€ (from Thomann) it has a great sound and stays in tune for a long time:) so Thomann ukuleles are cheap and good, totally worth it and i recommend them a LOT! Hope this helps some of you #cheapisnotalwaysbad!
Totally agree with you! You can get something great on a budget and you can get something that's not so great even if it is expensive. #expensiveisnotalwaysgood :D
I have both Flight ukuleles and couldn't be happier 🙌🏼 The Pineapple one ticked many boxes for me simply because of the look (pineapple shape, engraved soundhole, the shark) but the classic ukulele sound of it definitely makes it one of my favourites to play with. Additionally, the plastic gives it a very loud sound, which I find absolutely incredible! Wow, this was really educational “Coach”!!! I was planning to buy one of those cheap Uke’s....But thought putting good strings would make it OK🤔🤔🤔. *That “Zero nut” is interesting......Never heard of that......Looks like a nut......What’s the difference between the top nut and a zero nut? And that LAST UKU.....the Flight Uke.......GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!! Yesssss, definitely sounded THE BEST!!!!!! Thanks again “Coach”. Have an ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!! Thanks for EVERYTHING!
The zero nut makes it possible for the action to be as low as possible without causing a buzz! It is very nice for anyone struggling with barred chords! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! :) Love, hugs, and kisses! ❤️🤗
Hey, I just wanted to pop up here real quick. When I was first buying a ukulele, I knew absolutely nothing about ukuleles. I bought a Stagg US-RED ukulele and I wanted to recommend it for all the confused people out there. I have seen plenty of cheap ukuleles in my life, but this one is the bet one yet. It's really cheap, you can get it for as little as 35 euro in lots of places. It is well-made, definitely does not look like it would break when playing a little harder. It looks clean, sounds amazing, it has pretty soft strings, so it's perfect for people that have never played a string instrument before. It's tiny and handy. I have it for 2 years now, no defects, looks almost like new. This is my full honest opinion, and it is not biased or influenced in any way. I highly recommend this ukulele and i hope I helped :)
I got a Flight Pineapple ukulele a few years ago. chose it because I liked the shape :). It has stayed in tune SO well - I can come back to it after months away and it's still perfectly in tune. Very helpful video - thank you!
You know this is weird but just yesterday I was binge watching ukulele buying guides from other youtubers. However, I wanted a budget friendly one and haha well you fulfilled my wish today! How ironic right! 😂😂
Thank you for this very helpful and informative video Ms. B! We have those ukuleles in your "not recommended" list. 😱😰. And through experience, I know for a fact, you are right, if the instrument doesn't feel right and sound right first and foremost, a child (or any person for that matter) no matter how eager to learn, will not want to play it in the long run. That's the least we want to happen. We need more music in the world. It gives so much joy and happiness! So let's go and play more!!! 🎼🎵🎶😁😁😁
Thank you so much, Frances! Many people are looking for the cheapest ukulele out there and buy those colored/bright/fun-looking ukes and then they contact me and ask me why it hurts when they play, why they can't do barre chords, etc. It's unfortunate they blame themselves when lots of problems are caused by a bad uke!
Great video! I chose a flight as my first ukulele. Another big plus is that the shipping is free in the EU if you order directly in their webshop. This discount also helps make their ukes really affordable. Can't wait till the next one.
I'm new to this. Honoka & Azita drew me in. But I am so, so glad to find you, Bernadette. You present yourself very well, and you offer the exact kind of things students or newbies need to hear. You've increased the excitement greatly! Thank you so much! Good job.
This video is so detailed. It will be very helpful to a new buyer.. First of all, what's with the new camera quality? :O Or did you just get prettier? I think the Flight ukuleles sound the best. Thank You Luisa for the Time Stamps. Hi to Arigato. Love the Queen tshirt. I saw Bohemian Rhapsody last night..
Hey Kevin! I filmed using daylight and professional lights... crazy what a difference that makes! I will always be trying to improve the quality of the videos. ❤️❤️ Thank you for always noticing
This is an excellent video for all of those who want to buy their first ukulele. When I bought mine, I did not even know that there were different sizes of ukulele, so I ended up buying the popular soprano ukelele. Although it sounds good, when I try to play very high chords, the sound is practically lost. I will later save some money to buy a concert ukulele ... It seems to be much more comfortable. Thank you very much, Bernadette, for helping us with these options. :) 👏👏👏👏
Mari, you are doing so well with your soprano. The fact that you've been playing the instrument for so little and are already attempting such difficult chords and positions on the instrument is very impressive. I hope that your next ukulele is also made by a luthier because they did a great job with the one you have!
I did not skip the ad. Hehe. Pretty as always Bernadette ☺️. Thanks for another great and informational video. Do you have a video on how to tune a ukulele for those who have no idea or 4 beginners?thanks
I bought the black Flight ukulele. I LOVE IT!! Your discount code helped make it an affordable purchase. Flight customer service is great, they got back to me right away, I was asking about shipping to Canada. They were very reassuring and even posted a pic on their Instagram of all the ukes being shipped out that round. Made me feel like they take pride in their service!!
I enjoyed this video very much. I will be purchasing the Flight Travel ukulele soon just because of what it was made for. I have played a few and was blown away by the sound and playability. Looking forward to the next video. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
Hi--I just found your videos tonight.Really enjoying your way of explaining everything. This one came at a great time--I've been wanting to learn to play for a couple of years now. At first I was going to go with a Kala, but after hearing the Flight Pineapple, I think I've found my instrument. I played the piano as a child, but at age 60, I hope I can learn to play a uke-I'm so excited! To be able to make music is a wonderful thing!
Plastic Ukuleles were actually pretty popular in the 1950s, the famed Mario Maccaferri (who designed Django Reinhardt’s guitar) sold millions of completely plastic ukuleles. They sound suprisingly good too!
banjo playing bison In the 50’s they thought that plastic would be the “future” material because it’s supposedly indestructible and goes for centuries. So with that in mind, everything plastic sold nicely in the 50’s.
This is so helpful. I will probably be buying another soprano ukulele for a student after the new year. Based on your recommendation it will be a Flight. Thank you for sharing the knowledge.
Thank you very much for your video! I am buying my daughter her first proper ukulele for her 10th birthday (she’s wanted one for about a year and now playing at school). Also, we did buy a cheap one from the toy shop but obviously didn’t hold a tune. I had no idea what I was looking for buying a nice one until I found this video. Ended up buying a pink Flight ukulele and a tuner clip and got a 10% discount from the code you gave 🥰 I’m very grateful
This is so helpful! Would you consider doing one on intermediate priced ukuleles as well? The more it costs the more I am afraid of making a mistake while choosing
Bernadette Teaches Music oh. Could you also talk about A/E ? For instance what price range might a good one fall into? Also do tone woods still make a difference? Thanks so much for all you do!
Lovely hor d'oeuvre Ms.B. I'll Travel by Flight for that tasty Pineapple Ukulele. Be Ok to start with the Watermelon to get a taste of the ukulele. You served a lovely and satisfying video for our hungry ears. The comparison songs nicely highlight each uke's "timbre" (learned a new music word, thanks Ms.B) You are so right about the Flights. You said what I feel and think about them very eloquently. There is a lot of great and highly useful information pack into this 13:31 minute video snack. Wets the appetite for the next comparison review. Thanks again for the knowledge Ms.B. Nice to see the Sphinx elegantly composed upon the cat couch. Happy Giving of Thanks, to you and all in the Ms.B family. Edit: hungry?
I have been looking for a uke to take with me on business trips that I don't want to worry about it breaking or something happening to it. I am seriously considering buying that flight travel Uke! I saw it when it first came out but haven't bought one because I have too many as it is - but I don't know, might just do it. Zero fret is really making me want it as well.
it is really comfortable to play on! My mind was totally at ease when I was traveling with this one. I liked that the back of it is all plastic. I could put it on the sand or on the grass without worrying about the wood. This ukulele fit in my carry-on bag as well, so I didn't have to worry about it having to be checked in.
Hi, you're right about what to look in choosing the right instrument, I'm also a music teacher, voice and stringed instrument (Rondalla) I think the back portion of the Flight uke is made of fiber glass, just like guitars, they use fiber glass and it sounds great.
Thank you so much for all of these videos. Based on your recommendations from videos last year, "Santa" delivered an Oscar Schmidt Concert Uke to my then Middle School (now 9th grader) grand daughter. She loved it and has done well with it (gave me a 3 song concert while at the house at Thanksgiving). She admits her trumpet in the school band takes most of her practice time, but her Mom tells me that she plays her Uke almost every day to help "chill" between classes and homework. This year she's come back with a request for a Baritone, so we will see if "Santa" can work his magic again. But now the younger grand daughter (6th Grade) is showing a little interest too. Don't know if she will follow through like her big sister, but this video has helped give me some ideas that won't cost too much if she doesn't follow through. Two years ago when the older one dropped her first hint, I ended up basically getting her a "toy" Uke, because I knew nothing about the instrument. She kept trying to play it but it just wouldn't stay in tune. Your series, is not only helping my grand daughter but has been a big help in educating me!
I love the Flight Pineapple uke. It's so pretty and I LOVE the sound - even from the first strum you did on it, I loved the sound. I love the song at the end. So pretty! Thank you!
My school purchased the Mahalo ukuleles for my classroom, and I hate them!!! The paint chips, they aren't consistent with how they are made (some stay in tune with no problem, whereas others constantly slip out of tune), and the bridge breaks easily sending strings flying!!! I love the plastic body uke. Will look into that for my classes for next year.
I had never thought of getting a ukulele before, but the one i purchased also from amazon was the everjoys ukulele it came with a tuner, gig bag, extra strings and a lil book and picks.
Thank you, Bernadette. This will be great to pass along. The Flight pineapples were a pleasant surprise! How 'bout a ukulele shopping guide for the next levels? you fan, b
If things go well in my life, I'm considering buying the travel ukulele. Checking at Flight's website, I'm already vexed to which color to choose even though I won't be deciding to buy until next year. 😂 Looking forward to my future travel buddy. 🤞🏼 (We really need an ukulele emoji, hahah!)
Ahhh! Which color is that? The sound of the travel ukulele is really unique, so make sure you listen to it! Luisa wrote a little more about it here in the comments too~!
@@BernadetteTeachesMusic I'm torn between red or orange, or maybe end up choosing black because black never goes out of style. 😆 Yeah, saw Luisa's comment too. And I was actually convinced of the travel uke way back when you had the unboxing. 😁 But the possibility of buying will depend on the direction of my career, if I get to travel often in the future. I see it's the most durable and affordable (considering dollars to PH pesos) out there that it won't worry you when you bring it to places. Okay, I think I talk too much, hahah. Here's to a brighter future! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 Hihihih. 😘
Ahhh yes! I love those bright ones. The yellow looks so happy, so if I get another one, I would love for it to be a bright color! But yes, you’re right. Black never goes out of style and I love mine 🖤🖤🖤
I'm new to ur channel n after watching ur videos I'm in love with ukuleles! I have not played music before, except few harmonica lessons!! Now searching for a good budget ukulele, thats available in my region!! Love from India 💜. Hopefully i will stick to ur channel to learn playing ukulele, after i can afford one!!
I purchased a Concert EUC X1 Enya Ukulele on Amazon last week for $53. It included all the extras. Amazon had a lightening deal pop up. I would check Amazon through the holiday season for more lightning deals that may pop up!
This is another great video, Ms. B! I’ll be sharing it with “mah lil’ uke group.” As of now, three students do not own their own instruments! I purchased the Flight Travel Uke and LoVe it! I wonder, however, when will the E-string hold it’s tune? I’ve had the uke for 2.5 weeks now and play it every day. Sometimes the E-string goes out of tune while playing it. 🤷🏼♀️
Hi Cherry Tang. I bought the Travel TUS35 too😎 The Travel Flights are amazing. I found a really good deal and used Ms.B's ,PLAZI code for an added discount, so I got two🙌 A Blue and a elegant Black one. Which color did you get? They sound and feel so good. The reason I'm responding to your comment is because I found the same thing and have had mine three weeks now. The E string would go lower in it's tuning. It's getting better, and one uke stays in tune all the time now. It's my blue ones E string that needs tuning. It's getting longer between tunings so I think more playing time is the factor. I was wondering too, so I googled it and (I think it was the "ukulele underground" site) that someone said sometimes one can find a bad string made wrong in the factory. They also said some strings may take a month to settle. Yet if we both experienced the same string it just may be the properties of these E string. Thought you may like to know that your not alone in the wonder. Hope it won't be too long before the string settles in. Happy day.
Hi Cherry! 👋🏼 I’m wondering if the tuning gear is a little loose. Check the back and GENTLY tighten the screw A LITTLE BIT. If you don’t feel comfortable doing this, a music shop will do it and be done in 2 minutes :)
The ADM has became so popular in 2022 that it sold out of the mahogany color. They only have it left in black which costs $10 more. Still a good price.
Your video’s are so useful! I wish I had seen such a video as this one when I decided to learn the ukulele. I have a Makala and I am really satisfied with it but since I have heard from the Flight uku’s, I think they would have been a better option for me especially because of the zero fret! That is genius, indeed!
Wow. I've been looking for a place to buy a ukulele cause I found it interesting to try and I think I'm gonna love it. Thanks for sharing this video now I know what to look for a ukulele. :)
This is true ive used friends ukuleles with high fret action of a pencil. It hurt so much to play and I got frustrated 😅 always do research with instruments! My first uke was $28 and It did it's job with being a beginner uke!
Yes, MS.B!!! what do I SEE? well, it's my FLIGHT!! You are totally RIGHT playing these FLIGHTS is an absolute DELIGHT they really do CARE so I bought a PAIR of Flight's TUS35's sounds so ALIVE music does SING they beautifully RING a voice truly BRIGHT I play day and NIGHT Thanks for this REVIEW what you speak is TRUE
Hey, I'm going to be getting my first uke next month. I have been thinking of getting the kiwi one because of this video and your uke collection video. Would this be a good first uke? I know that that was probably the main point of the video, but I'm stuck between the flight travel uke and the kiwi uke. Which one would you get?
Thank you for yet another great Video :) i'm definitely going to get myself a pineapple shaped Ukulele at some point, i just love the look :) (i was considering buying the enya pineapple). if this had a zero fret like the travel one, i really would consider buying one soon. Ive never tried playing with a zero fret, but its sounds like a genius thing to put on a Ukulele.. I wonder why it isnt more common. The demo of the blue Ukulele really sounded horrible and so out of tune.. I had a Ukulele like this once. If that had been my first one im 100% sure i wouldnt still be playing today.
Hey Hanby! Wow, I love your comment. It’s crazy how a poor quality instrument can ruin the outcome of a musician’s potential. As far as pineapples go... I haven’t tried the Enya one yet, but I have loved all of their ukuleles so far! The Flight pineapple has a sweet sound in my opinion. The Flight travel has a much more assertive sound, having that plastic back.
@@BernadetteTeachesMusic its hard not to just buy me a pineapple one, and to be honest i have wanted to try the flight travel uke since i first saw it in one of your Videos. And it is really affordable.. I just want to buy so many things :) but im saving for an 8 string Ukulele, so i must be strong and say no to myself on a daily Basis :p You are absolutely right by the way! I think a horrible beginner Instrument is about as bad as it gets. They have to leave a good first impression and you are absolutely right to point that out again and again. As i said, i tried a really bad Ukulele shortly after i Starter playing and suddenly i hated playing, it wasnt fun at all anymore so i threw it out almost immediately
Before this video I was debating which one to get for my first flight ukelele whether it's the travel one which is unique and innovative or the pineapple one which is also unique but has great sound and has that traditional roots but this video finally helped me decide ! I think I'm going with the pineapple 🌞👌😁 and maybe get the travel uke later hehe
Hi! I absolutely loved this video. so informative and it's so cute how excited you get about a good cost worthy uke haha! I ordered a Makala Shark Grey Concert Ukulele for 87AUD! Do you reckon that's a good uke and worth the price? I'm definitely going to invest in a Flight Ukulele once I learn to play this well
Does it make some sense to save up and target at least $60 for a ukulele, like a Flight? The Flight brand looks really nice. I understand if someone is buying ukuleles in bulk for a classroom, this might not be an option however. Happy Thanksgiving B.
That's a great question! One of my best friends communicated with flight and his classroom's budget for buying a larger number of ukuleles (25 or 26, I believe). The Flight is a really nice budget option that sounds like a classic uke, and for people in Europe, shipping is free. There's a discount code for 10% off if you'd like to use it (discount code: Plazi). Just keep in mind that this is a budget uke review. I'll be doing a review of ukuleles that are in a higher price range and have more to offer.
It's probably time to do an update as Kmise and Aklot both do pretty good solid wood top ukes with bone bridge and nut with Aquila strings for under US$70 (2020).
I realize that it can be intimidating to work on your own instrument, but it's not that hard to file the slots in the nut and the saddle to get that action lowered.
Thank you. But I would prefer to know which one is the best at medium prince range. As I already have some Ukes and love to play everyday I wonder if it's worth spending so more money. ;)
Hey! The medium price range guide is coming soon! I'm waiting for some ukuleles in the mail, so I'll be filming that as soon as those arrive and set in tuning.
This is great, thank you! I am a beginner, and I bought a Concert size, thinking it would be best for my long fingers. Of course I'm still struggling with some chords, but now I'm wondering if I downsize will it was easier? Or would my fingers get in the way of each other? Hmm...
@@BernadetteTeachesMusic yeah, im missing so much, as you mentioned in your video, you get discouraged easily playing if you have a poor quality uke. Hope to catch up soon 😉
I have that sky blue one but it's caramel colored and to be honest i think mine sounds better than the one you just demo'd. Mine only costs like 11.5-is dollars and that includes a (not joking) high quality padded gig bag, two picks of varying thickness, a cheap and lame strap, a battery powered tuner and an extra pair of strings. I could sy it's more than a steal it's probs already a bargain at that point
As someone who only started guitar six months ago, and looked at ukuleles before and after-just bought a ukulele in a thrift shop two weeks ago-I think this is too much expertise to expect from someone who is only just thinking of buying an instrument of any kind. First thing, plastic is a big no on this tiny, violin sized instrument. Plastic instruments are a bad sign unless they’re digital. Second, just pick it up, hold it, strum a little even though you have no idea what you’re doing. If it feels right, it’s probably alright at least for starters. Third, realize at the very least you are going to have to replace those strings, and the first few times you’re going to have a shop do it. That doesn’t mean you couldn’t start learning with whatever it comes with, but just strings for under $10 are going to make a difference. Likewise, consider other costs. You can get a ukulele with absolutely nothing included and start learning to play, whereas with a guitar and most other instruments you’re going to need a few accessories to avoid being disappointed.
I have one big question that I’ve not seen any answers on RUclips but what kind of strings are better ? The plastic ones or the Metal i think its what they are made of ? And Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍽🍁
Christian, I believe this question is up to personal taste. Many ukuleles come with Aquila strings and people like those. I installed some fluorocarbon strings on one of my favorite ukuleles and I'm really enjoying those too. As soon as I learn more about ukulele strings, I'll review them :)
Do any of these sell in bulk? As in packs of 10? I need 30 (or possibly more should 1 break... who am I kidding, one WILL break). I'd like to buy them in a bundle but not sure if there is a group that does that. Thank you for the info!
Hi Flo! One of my music teacher friends purchased 25 Flight travel ukuleles for his classroom and they communicated with him about his budget before buying. I would definitely contact them directly on their company email to work something out!

😂😂😂 that is pretty funny! While you were binge watching, I was editing!
Thank you so much!! Which of the Flight models was your first ukulele?
@@BernadetteTeachesMusic the NUS310! I think it's perfect to begin with, but I learned so much by now that I want something a bit bigger.
Or did you just get prettier?
I think the Flight ukuleles sound the best.
Thank You Luisa for the Time Stamps.
Hi to Arigato.
Love the Queen tshirt. I saw Bohemian Rhapsody last night..
Hey Kevin!
I filmed using daylight and professional lights... crazy what a difference that makes!

Thank you for always noticing
@@BernadetteTeachesMusic Oh. That's what it was.
Good job Ms. B :)
Thank you :)
am i the only one loving the sparkle on your eyes in this vid?
Ikr it looks beautiful
I'm far from beginner but also a bad teacher, so I chow your video to my kids 😊
Thanks for a very good and helpfull video ❤
Aww, thank you so much!
Yes, there's a video for that!
It's the second video in this playlist :)

I've followed you for over 5 its nice to see your continued love of the Uke, thank you so mucho and mahalo.
I enjoyed this video very much. I will be purchasing the Flight Travel ukulele soon just because of what it was made for. I have played a few and was blown away by the sound and playability. Looking forward to the next video. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
Hey! Which color are you planning on getting? I love my little black one, but the yellow and the orange ones are calling my name!
@@BernadetteTeachesMusic I like the red, My favorite color.
BTW, that black would make a great background to have something painted....
I really love your channel Bernadette. Really useful videos and beautifully explained. x
Thank you, Steve! I really appreciate that! 💛
Well done. I'll check out flight. I need a new Uke. I gave mine to my nephew.
Yeah! They are worth checking out. You can see some other reviews about them all over youtube and make a decision ❤️❤️
@@BernadetteTeachesMusic I'll take your word for it. You seem to know value. God bless you. Happy Thanksgiving from Texas 👍
Thank you for sharing your insight on what to look for in a ukulele when buying. It was a huge help!
Thank you, Steve! These are just the basics and I'm hoping it will help first-time buyers!
LOL you liked the Flight pineapple so much you couldn't resist singing with it.
Nice of Luisa to do all that with the time codes. It makes it very nice. Thank you.
Plastic Ukuleles were actually pretty popular in the 1950s, the famed Mario Maccaferri (who designed Django Reinhardt’s guitar) sold millions of completely plastic ukuleles. They sound suprisingly good too!
banjo playing bison
In the 50’s they thought that plastic would be the “future” material because it’s supposedly indestructible and goes for centuries.
Of course! I'm waiting for a ukulele to get to me in the mail to add it to that buying guide :) Expect it the first week of December!

Aww thank you :)
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Wow great video Mrs. B! Definitely will use this video when I purchase my next ukulele. Thanks❤, and happy Thanksgiving!
Hi Alondra! Thank you so much.
I'll be releasing a video about middle range ukuleles too ;)
I have been looking for a uke to take with me on business trips that I don't want to worry about it breaking or something happening to it.
The back is ABS (plastic).
So pretty! Thank you!
I just ordered a Kala KA-15S Mahogany Soprano Ukulele. Is this a good ukulele that you know of? (It was around 55 dollars)
Hey! Yes, that’s a very popular brand! Thank you for letting us know!! 😉😉
I wanted a new ukulele for Christmas so this video came on time!!😄

Hi! Are you using a pick? This is the review video I’ve been waiting for 🤩
Thank you, Bernadette.

I purchased a Concert EUC X1 Enya Ukulele on Amazon last week for $53. It included all the extras. Amazon had a lightening deal pop up. I would check Amazon through the holiday season for more lightning deals that may pop up!
Wow!!! That is a fantastic deal! Thank you for sharing. Hope you love your X1!!!
I bought the Travel TUS35 too😎
The Travel Flights are amazing.
Happy day.
Hi Cherry! 👋🏼
I’m wondering if the tuning gear is a little loose.
I can admit, these ukuleles are great!
Great info!
Glad you like it, Laural!! ❤️
This is true ive used friends ukuleles with high fret action of a pencil. It hurt so much to play and I got frustrated 😅 always do research with instruments! My first uke was $28 and It did it's job with being a beginner uke!
This is just what I needed, thank you!💜
Thank you too, Madison!! ❤️❤️❤️

I just want to buy so many things :) but im saving for an 8 string Ukulele, so i must be strong and say no to myself on a daily Basis :p
You are absolutely right by the way!
It’s kinda crazy how much better the kiwi is than the souvenir at like, so cheap. 😁
Oh god I wish this channel was in India this video was PURRFECT but didn't have any brands common in India
Hey, Miss Bernadette! Thank you for your video. I had a question. Where will you be announcing the winner of the current giveaway? Thanks again!
Hi Katie! ❤️❤️
The winner will be announced in a community post and in the description box of that video 🤗🤗
Thank you! I can never see the community posts because my device isn't compatible and you have to have the latest version of RUclips. Can't wait!
I'm definitely going to invest in a Flight Ukulele once I learn to play this well
Yes!! Great subject
:)
Thank you i made my mind and i'm getting my first ukulele and its the flight pineapple uke
Hope you love it!
Wow teacher Bernadette 😘

This is awsome! Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving!!
You are so beautiful and your voice is so pure . 🌅😊
Thank you for helping me to choose.
I just ordered ukelele , exited woho
@@BernadetteTeachesMusic perfect!
This is great, thank you! I am a beginner, and I bought a Concert size, thinking it would be best for my long fingers. Of course I'm still struggling with some chords, but now I'm wondering if I downsize will it was easier? Or would my fingers get in the way of each other? Hmm...
Great video and cute thumbnail :)
Thank you, Victoria!! 🤗🤗🤗
It may be out of context but you are pretty! 🌸

Hiiii I’m planning on getting a Córdoba 15CM ukulele, is this a good one?
I have that sky blue one but it's caramel colored and to be honest i think mine sounds better than the one you just demo'd. Mine only costs like 11.5-is dollars and that includes a (not joking) high quality padded gig bag, two picks of varying thickness, a cheap and lame strap, a battery powered tuner and an extra pair of strings. I could sy it's more than a steal it's probs already a bargain at that point
Thank you so much for this video B!😊💓😄
😘😘😘 thank you for being here!
Tnx now I know what to buy
And there's Cole's happy tune😎
Thank you for this video!!
😘😘😘
I have one big question that I’ve not seen any answers on RUclips but what kind of strings are better ? The plastic ones or the Metal i think its what they are made of ? And Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍽🍁
Christian, I believe this question is up to personal taste. Many ukuleles come with Aquila strings and people like those. I installed some fluorocarbon strings on one of my favorite ukuleles and I'm really enjoying those too. As soon as I learn more about ukulele strings, I'll review them :)
Ukuleles aren't meant to use metal strings. Fluorocarbon is best choice; nylon or nylgut otherwise. Not metal!
