This is one of the most genuine kids I've ever witnessed on a show like this...He genuinely was surprised and elated when chairs turned. It's so refreshing to see a kid act like a kid and not a collection of other people they've seen. Authentic young dude.
Zack is absolutely amazing! I got goosebumps as soon as I heard him sing! He's definitely a very talented young man and he's definitely got this! I hope to hear more of him singing! Reach for the stars Zack! You can do anything you put your heart and mind to! Your voice and stage presence is absolutely amazing! God bless you in all you do!

Although he didn't get through because of his nerves he performed amazingly. Well done Zach you are a good singer and need to practise to get noticed more. Try other shows to audition on. I used to think that as well. I lost 70 pounds and now my acne is much less noticeable but I'm still insecure, although I'm generally much more confident and happier than before. No one looks perfect to everyone, that's why, especially to ourselves

i predicted every single thing that happened in this video after 30s of watching. from him picking a more… “familiar” option as far as judging over the multi-platinum, vocal powerhouse, worldwide legend, and mentor to countless up and coming talented singers, kelly; to the delta person overinflating his abilities for TV; to the embedding of the “growth arc” narrative; to the keeping him on only to cut him after he served his narrarive purpose; to kelly’s genuine shock at how great he sounded the next time around (he sounded amazing!) (but on a show about one’s voice… where countless amazing singers audition yearly, that should be a given. its a huge red flag that they’re trying to use someone for storytelling when they intentionally look past certain shortcomings of performance) anyways, i know its just tv. but it felt extremely sinister to me when kelly said “you could take this whole thing”, because i know for a fact that what she meant in her head is “you have a great story. i can make you a good enough singer over the course of this that your voice won’t matter”.
I wish he would have picked Guy. He would have helped him build his confidence and give him what he needs to grow in this field. I would love to know what he's doing now.
Aw, it's too bad Zack didn't get past the KNockouts. He's such a likeable guy but yes, needs confidence in himself. Hopeflly he's found it or is finding it since his time on The Voice
