I don't like that Tarbosaurus got the giga treatment in the Jurassic franchise by being turned in to a spikey monster. I hope the Jurassic franchise gets some good competition in the film industry so that dinosaur design standards can get better in films.
You forgot to mention Carnosaur-- a novel by John Brosnan that predates Jurassic Park by six years, and featured Tarbosaurus as the main dinosaur character.

The other interpretation of Tarbosaurus was the one that appeared on Animal Planet's mini-series, Animal Armageddon. In the fourth episode of the series, Tarbosaurus is seen struggling to survive the acid rain as it strolls and starts to burn this poor animal. The design of, it looked like a skinny version of the T-Rex from Jurassic Park, but the legs seemed a little too thin as they should be a little muscular. It even had some osteoderms on it's back.
I don't like the Jurassic World Tarbosaurus because it's BIGGER THAN THE TYRANNOSAURUS. Tarbosaurus' defining characteristic is that it is like tyrannosaurus but smaller, so seeing it made bigger than what is supposed to be hurts my head.
Another thing differentiating tyrannosaurus and tarbosaurus is forelimb proportion. I believe tarbosaurus has the shortest forelimbs proportional to its body of any tyrannosaur
Prehistoric Planet’s Tarbosaurus is clever with it’s design, to differentiate it from T-Rex Like the narrow skull and more slender body Other Designs of Tarbosaurus is basically just a Tyrannosaurus Rex ripoff or a T-Rex Copycat
I agree on JW's look, but I'm glad this was recognized and then added in the game. But the Prehistoric Kingdom variant looks really good when comparing to the Rex. Chased by Dinosaurs and Prehistoric Planet are favorite variations too. You should do a review on all of the animals from the game like BestInSlot.
The animation of "Dinosaurs Alive!" is actually quite good and Tarbosaurus being mentioned is quite good, especially as the video mentions a Triassic Period dinosaur named "Effigia." The Tarbosaurus with the lacrimal horns almost makes me think of Godzilla (1998), but the weird thing to me is that the black coloration for the lips almost makes it seem like it was supposed to be a beak as the teeth don't really show up and almost looked like someone decided to make it look like the Tarbosaurs were going through their "goth phase." If it hasn't been covered already, maybe compare different depictions of Coelophysis
Another version of Tarbo you could look at is the new Paleo Ark Tarbo coming to the mod with evo Rex and Evo Giga later this week hopefully. I believe it will be functionally the same as Rex but with a unique model and some slight differences, as well as replacing any desert Rex spawns.

There's a museum near where I live that has a Tarbosaurus skeleton, but labeled (and advertised) it as a T. rex. And their tour only talk about some T. rex facts instead of how unique Tarbosaurus is. It's sad how much they got overshadowed by T. rex

In your video talking about the many interpretations of T-Rex you don't mention the T-Rexes with the feathers on their heads in the 14th Land before Time movie. And there was also this movie about how some kid gets teleported to this island lost the time the head feathered T-Rexes in it it was like some 2014 movie. But I don't expect you to know about it cuz it wasn't like some Blockbuster like Jurassic Park it was like a tubi movie. Like what's the matter why don't you like the Newer land before Time movies.
