Honestly I already predicted it after the main plot revelation but the acting of the actors makes it so powerful I literally got emotional

Maharaja's Writer is inspired by 'OldBoy' (2003). The way they sustained the suspense until the end was impressive, and I applaud the movie's writer for that. I had already predicted the twist when Vijay Sethupathi was taking his daughter to Selvam and when she threw that jewellery I was shocked and the first thing that came to my mind was "OldBoy". 10/10 for Vijay Sethupathi Sir, The Writer and Director of the Movie❤️🔥.
Since already watched Oldboy the ending was predictable. For first time watching this movie be a emotional triller.
i watched the movie after diksha's review, so I was like what could be the twist of the climax. when vijay was shocked after seeing selvam, everything just clicked, like how can lakshmi save life of his daughter as she was sitting with her mother beside the door and lakshmi was not above the door. also his daughter was relatively fairer than selvam's daughter and selvam had lakshmi in his youth
