Is there a way to account for it selling in person vs. online? For example: I sell online, but I also do in-person events. Trying to find a way to keep track of inventory when I bring it to events instead of manually writing down each thing.
Hey Heather, One solution to this is to set up different 'Locations' for your inventory. Once you have done that, you can set the Main Location on a Sales Order so that the order can deduct stock from your selection, once the order has been picked/fulfilled. For information on setting up multiple Locations, please visit our Learning Centre article here: www.inflowinventory.com/support/cloud/how-do-i-handle-inventory-in-multiple-locations/
Hi, just run across your video. I have a question. I am working for the garment company as a warehouse supervisor however, we are counting our inventory manually which is time consuming and exhausting and we are receiving so many different products for all season. Basically, once we receive the products, their barcode is always on the products bag. What should be done if we start using barcoding system. We have different brands but usually the products are same and on the spreadsheets they are easily seen. Any recommendation to facilitate our jobs? Thanks
Hi Taylan, other than creating a new product with a unique product name and barcode each time, you can consider use the scanner to scan the barcode as the product barcode AND name. For example product name Apple and barcode 01230, you can use the scanner to scan so that name and barcode is both 01230, but you would probably want to remark it as Apple in the description sometime after.
Hi Jessa, inFlow Cloud has two main plans to choose from. And there's the option to pay each plan monthly, or annually (where you can also get a price break!). For our full list of prices please check out this link: www.inflowinventory.com/cloud#software-pricing All the best, ^Kerisha
Hi @@dis_chen1955, yes inFlow Cloud has an annual payment option for all of our plans, please take a look www.inflowinventory.com/software-pricing/ for details. Also there is a one time payment version of inFlow available called inFlow On-Premise. This version is older and doesn't have all the features of inFlow Cloud. inFlow On-Premise also won't be updated by our team going forward, so there won't be any new features added to it. For pricing on inFlow On-Premise, please see here: onpremise.inflowinventory.com/#pricing ^ Kerisha
Hey, I was curious if you guys offer a barcoding program similar to a library. I work for a flooring company where customers will check out and return larger 2'x3' samples. I am hoping to use barcoding to be able to for check-outs and returns and status updates. Do you have a platform that might help us out?
Hi Tom, with inFlow you can track products across an unlimited number of locations. You would be following our asset tracking workflow, which you can learn more about here www.inflowinventory.com/support/cloud/can-i-use-inflow-for-asset-tracking/
Hi mosuma mosuma, sorry we missed this, it's a good question. Basically we'd say it's a specific setting on your scanner hardware. For example, if you have a scanner from Honeywell, they have a page to change the settings for check digits on UPCs: honeywellaidc.force.com/supportppr/s/article/How-to-enable-disable-the-transmission-of-the-UPC-A-UPC-E-Check-digit-and-Number-System-Lead-Zero ^TW

inFlow Cloud would be great for a wholesaler business. But to make sure inFlow will work for you, we always encourage everyone to thoroughly try out the inFlow Cloud 14 day trial from here: app.inflowinventory.com/signup ^Kerisha

I’m a reseller and the products I sell already have a barcode on them ... just wondering if you’ve seen anyone use those codes instead of generating new barcodes and labeling each product?
Hi there! Sure, when your products already have barcodes and you have no need to generate new ones, you can just insert them directly on the product page to "link" them :) You have more info about this here: www.inflowinventory.com/support/cloud/how-do-i-set-up-my-barcode-fields-in-inflow-cloud/ Hope that helps! ^Núrya
Hi Lance, you bet! You can simply slot them into the "barcode" field of your product record (it's found on the extra info tab). There's more detailed info on that here: www.inflowinventory.com/support/cloud/how-do-i-set-up-my-barcode-fields-in-inflow-cloud/ in the "Add your own barcodes" section. Hope that helps :) ^Siobhan
Hey Alex, thanks for getting in touch. What kind of concern did you have about the DYMO 450? We’ve been using the printer ourselves and our customers have had positive experiences with it. If there’s anything we can answer, just let us know. ^Kerisha
