1982 to 2024.
42 YEARS YEARS looks refreshing 😍
Heck yeah👍🏾!! I still have this on VHS!! This movie has the GREATEST car vs train joust ever!! This is a real forgotten gem from a long time ago. Additionally stars allota good actors. Thank you so much for posting👏🏾👏🏾
And the demise of a portable outhouse.
I'm I the only one the feel there was more black entertainment options back in the day than now? There was so much variety back than..Thank you for posting
Ikr! And what little options we do have these days are very low budget with repetitive storylines. Its like we've gone one step forward and 2 steps backwards
It's not about skin color .. dividing mentality it should be unity ...one... all are equal stop practicing reverse racism please..

This comment makes no sense nor is my comment insulting anyone. It's a fact that if you took the time to research there were more diverse options for black people when it comes to media...
You trying to be deep and failed miserably...nothing wrong with a minority group wanted to have more diversity within the community roles.. It's called pride...
Who cares?
@@damiencrowley2506
I do...
'The Friday Night movie of the week.' Thanks reelblack. 🙌📺👍😄✌️
Perhaps for the 1983 CBS Friday night movie after an episode of “THE DUKES OF HAZZARD”, provided the announcer said, “”DALLAS” and “FALCON CREST” will not be seen tonight, but they will be back next week. Now, stay tuned for the CBS Friday Night At The Movies.”
Thanks for another hard to find 80s upload...anything Gary Coleman when I was a kid..was exciting see on the old tube 💯👍👍
Set up an online petition to get a 45TH Anniversary theatrical re-release for the movie.
Reelblack how'd you know I was looking for a movie to unwind with. Right on time yall👍🏾 right on time.
Now that’s the spirit.
👁 could watch GC allll day...So adorable ❤️❤️❤️
I dont remember this movie, but it was so much fun to watch! The cast was perfect. Maurice needed to schedule several appointments for contacts, thicker glasses and a walking stick in order to drive.
R.I.P. Cleavon Little 1939-1992
Now he belongs to the ages, in spite of the fact that some folks nowadays despise his role in the Mel Brooks film “BLAZING SADDLES”.
@@LindaCooper-i3fSome folks are silly & extremely ignorant & easily led! Blazing Saddles was a great movie, & gave parody to the ignorance of racism!
@cristineconnell7803,
Be that as it may, as far as “BLAZING SADDLES” goes, my oldest son (47 going on 48) has an idea for a sitcom series in which Archie Bunker’s grandson is a private investigator employed by Nero Wolfe, and he also has an uncle who’s younger than him, but those details will follow later.
Brings back Alot of memories! My Mom took me to see Jimmy the Kid I still remember sitting in the theater at 9 years old
My gosh, I haven't seen this in 40 years! Thanks for the upload.
I cant say how appreciative i am that this classic movie in its entirity has been posted, especially after i went through the trouble of ordering on Amazon and it ended up breaking in the VCR. I grew up with Jimmy kid,all the way from being a kid myself to being a 48 yr old man today. Such an engaging comedy thats so cute, silly and had a great cast!! I'll always love this movie and the older i get the more my love and admiration grows for it!!!
It would be nice to have it out on dvd.
However, with the 45TH Anniversary coming up in 2027, we also need a theatrical re-release.
This was my favorite movie when I was a kid. I wish you could get Gary Coleman's movie playing with fire
Too bad that the movie you just mentioned was a made-for-tv in 1985.
Afterall, “JIMMY THE KID” was released theatrically in 1982, and it was the final film of the late actress Ruth Gordon.
Well they have it now. Just RUclips it. I just watched it.

Yes! The whole movie. I remember this from when I was a kid.
And the same goes for my oldest son.
Cleavon Little is one of my favorite actors.
Hooray and Viva Sheriff Bart.

Is that the voice of inspector gadget I hear?? Lol 🤗
Yep.
RIP GARY COLEMAN. FREE LOGGA BLACK XXXX
He too belongs to the ages.
Never heard of this one, looking forward to watching
Enjoy.
inspector Gadget .......GAAAA GETTT
The kidnappers should have gotten the money just for teaching Jimmy how to be a kid. And why was black entertainment better up until the 90s? Movies music tv was so much better then the black entertainment today.
9 times out of 10, after they got in contact later, he gave them bonuses out of his book royalties.
Don Adams: Maxwell Smart, Tennessee Tuxedo and Inspector Gadget amongst others.
I haven't seen this movie since I was a kid.
The same is said of my oldest son.
For the memorable Friday Night At The Movie Made Gor TV Dpecial PLAYING WITH FIRE staring Gary Coleman, it’s now been officially uploaded. Just RUclips it. 😊
Cleavon Little
Sheriff Bart in “BLAZING SADDLES”.
Arnold and Arnold from Happy Days I think it's Mr.Miagi
“Wax on. Wax off.”
Does anybody know this classic had a wealth of deleted scenes! It once aired on the TV station TBS!! Anybody that knows how to get ahold of'em again please let me,the internet doesn't seem to have access to it.
Plus, airings on WGN in Chicago, although my late mother introduced my oldest son to this movie in 1987 on the Showtime network.
It is Dortmunder ! (sorta) THANK YOU !
Correct.
Appreciate it fam👊🏾
Right on!
BLESSED DAY STAY SAFE
Easier said than done when a modern day Edith Bunker has to put up with a modern day Archie Bunker from her womb circa1976.
Inspector Gaget
Definitely.
Still waiting for "Playing With Fire" (1985) or for at least someone to officially declare it Lost Media.
It’s been finally uploaded. Just RUclips it. I just watched it. :)
hard to think that Gary was like 35 when he made this.
Actually, he was nearer to 13 years old when he was in this movie.
Great movie, can you please upload penitentiary part two
It on Amazon
@@reelblack Amazon,I don't want to deal with ,are you able to upload the movie!?
@@reelblack I hope that wasn't a insult .
It violates RUclips guidelines. Its a very graphic film in certain scenes.
We Will Return With Jimmy The Kid! Starring Gary Coleman, Ruth Gordon, and Paul LeMat!!
“Next week on “THE DUKES OF HAZZARD”, Cooter learns he’s got a daughter that he didn’t know about, and two hoodlums take Boss Hogg for a ride, claiming to be sheep ranchers, when they’re planning to bring in toxic waste for dumping. See it all next Friday here on CBS.”
Imagine how it would look if Emma Tisdale of Hazzard County were a 1ST Cousin to Adelaide Brubaker who worked for Philip Drummond?
"May a camel lose his lunch on Erik Estrada!"
Great dialogue.
Rest in the good news ⚘ 🌚 👍 okay bye
Easier said than done.
It's just the same ole gang giving it a different name.
Where's the synopsis?
Push more and u will see
And Now? JIMMY THE KID!
Bring it on home.
8:06 Pat Morita was at a career low at this point. But just around the corner…
The writing for Gary isn't as good as some of his other movies in my opinion. His comedic timing kinda falls flat in some places which is unusual for such a talent.
Sometimes writers tend to screwup more than we can give them credit for.
I Don't Understand a person who hates Chicken especially KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN linked to the best chicken in The NATION
For all we know it could very well have been the Clyde Torkle Chicken Pit aka The Fastest Chicken In The South!
This dialogue is like a Hanna-Barbera cartoon.. not in a good way.
I bet you Donald Westlake would like this one back, what a dog show!!! Not even close to the book or the original storyline!!! 👎🤨👎
Keep it up the Great 😃👍 Work Reelblack. Maxwell Smart is in this Movie 🍿🎥.
Actually, it’s just his 1ST Cousin, Harry Walker, the kind of a guy who would give ulcers to Nero Wolfe.
