2 things in that final scene stand out to me: - Vi is shouting at Powder trying to remind her of all the people she loved (Milo, Cleggor, Vander) thinking that she is reminding her of the good times when in reality all she was doing is conjuring up the same Demons that have tormented Jinx since that day. - Powder snapped out of her trauma just long enough to protect Vi by killing Silco, Yet in doing so Powder managed to kill yet another loved one (Silco) just like she did in episode 3. That was the moment Powder died and Jinx was fully formed.
Great comment! I do disagree when people say that Powder is "dead". Jinx has always been a mask, or more accurately, emotional body armor. She's in a traumatized state, and retreats into the Jinx persona, but I don't think Powder can ever truly be completely gone from her.
I love how they visually displayed the monsters in Jinx’s head as she tried to fight them off, showing us the full manic state she’s in and what she goes through. This has got to be my favorite show of all time.
The fact that saving Vi is what truly turned her into Jinx and that her actions here are what are going to turn Vi into Piltovers top enforcer, S2 is going to be wild if she killed Caitlin's mom, her and Vi are going to hunt her down, she truly is a Jinx though as she took away Zaun's one hope of sovereignty, poor Powder
I mean Saving Vi didn’t change powder into Jinx. Vi continually choosing to help Caitlyn over Powder is what made Powder become Jinx. Vi is just as much at fault for this.
It's hard to say this because the characters are kids!. However, Powder looked like she was unstable as a kid because of all the previous trauma! But Jinx is just the dark side of Powder and believe it or not. All of us as human beings have good and evil within!! But Jinx was inevitable because of numerous circumstances! Giving Jinx over to Piltover is actually terrible for Zaun. Zaun would still be sacrifing it's people for Piltover. Jinx is Zaun's greatest military deterrent. She is basically a hextech "nuclear scientist", so giving her up would be like Zaun giving up it's nukes. Ukraine gave up the world's 3rd largest nuclear arsenal in 1994 and it is working out great for them /sarcasm off.
