      He wouldn't let Jinx lives blaming herself for his death. So in his last few moments, he assured Jinx did nothing wrong.
      Silco lived a murderer, a twisted man. But he died a father.

    • @jynxce
      @jynxce 2 года назад +2

      @@daemon8666 The man was textbook narcissist. He loved her as far as her use to him. In the end, he tried to murder Vi as he shot at her, because she was the only one that could turn his most precious asset, Jinx. Once he decided that path, he would have either killed Jinx or traded her for the deal since there would be no way to control her at that point. Even in his dying breath, he knew exactly what to say to her to continue his legacy. He knew if he couldn't have it, he'd burn it all down.

      @@jynxce that’s just objectively untrue, there are numerous scenes of Silco expressing love and affection for Jinx even when it doesn’t benefit him and even several times when it’s an active detriment
      Also Vi wasn’t helping Jinx or about to turn her, she was pushing every last one of her triggers and causing her to devolve into a horrific panic attack and he was trying to stop her, if you genuinely believe that that’s what helping someone looks like then you need to stay away from people
      And why would he say that to her in his final moments if he didn’t mean it? There’s no possible way that he could have predicted what she’d do and even if he could why would he want her to sabotage the thing he’d worked all his life for?

    • @jynxce
      @jynxce 2 года назад

      @@jonasquinn7977 It's okay to cheer for a villain, but let's be real. Silco kills his love child's guardian. He takes her in, nurtures and conditions her into a faithful 2nd hand minion, while deliberately attempting to snuff out her last thread to normalcy w/ her sister. Leaves her in a constant of isolation in needful state of mind to toil away in her lab constructing an ultimate weapon for his eventual wrestle for more power. Should we also forget the under city is in its current state because of Silco? The lovely enslaving of children for his shimmer production plants which is singlehandedly destroying the lives of its citizenry alone. The wonderful threatening of another man's daughter to keep him in line. What you're not seeming to understand is that as a true narcissist, Silco is incapable of love. There is no self instance of self sacrifice, or would be any future sacrifice for anyone other than himself. Any emotional outbursts only need to be viewed from his perspective and what loss or negative effect he would personally endure. The value or true concern of another just isn't there.
      As far as Vi, you've apparently decided to go Team Jinx. The only fault of Vi is that her life has been stunted due to being incarcerated while time & events marched onward. Your attempt to paint her as manipulative when she was only operating from her last, unfortunate memories with her sister isn't necessarily fair. She wasn't aware of the murderous, borderline psychotic killing machine that her new, lovable and affectionate "daddy" helped nurture and manipulate since her release from prison. She was just trying to find her sister.

    Glad to see you talking so strongly about why the council was upset. Other reactor's upper class shows when they don't understand why they're objecting to the Undercity's independence.
    "Jinx is the revolution." Yup. Jinx became the monster that they created. She was the chaos and fear that Silco couldn't be. She's Zaun personified. She's what they needed to become independent ironically enough. Some see Silco as failing in his death to free Zaun, but in reality Jinx always represented what Zaun needed to become independent.

      @@cthulhuwu_ to be fair they actually don’t anymore, Silco says in episode 4 that with the invention of the Hexgates Piltover is becoming more and more distant from Zaun because they can get all the stuff they need just as easily and cheaply from, if not more so, from elsewhere

    2 things in that final scene stand out to me:
    - Vi is shouting at Powder trying to remind her of all the people she loved (Milo, Cleggor, Vander) thinking that she is reminding her of the good times when in reality all she was doing is conjuring up the same Demons that have tormented Jinx since that day.
    - Powder snapped out of her trauma just long enough to protect Vi by killing Silco, Yet in doing so Powder managed to kill yet another loved one (Silco) just like she did in episode 3. That was the moment Powder died and Jinx was fully formed.

    • @derekmarshman6154

      Great comment! I do disagree when people say that Powder is "dead". Jinx has always been a mask, or more accurately, emotional body armor. She's in a traumatized state, and retreats into the Jinx persona, but I don't think Powder can ever truly be completely gone from her.

    The fact that saving Vi is what truly turned her into Jinx and that her actions here are what are going to turn Vi into Piltovers top enforcer, S2 is going to be wild if she killed Caitlin's mom, her and Vi are going to hunt her down, she truly is a Jinx though as she took away Zaun's one hope of sovereignty, poor Powder

    • @blacprophet1153

      It's hard to say this because the characters are kids!. However, Powder looked like she was unstable as a kid because of all the previous trauma! But Jinx is just the dark side of Powder and believe it or not. All of us as human beings have good and evil within!! But Jinx was inevitable because of numerous circumstances! Some people and children can handle pain, suffering and stress differently then other's! Powder also chose to be evil! The other black kid who also faced numerous obstacles channeled his pain into helping his people by finding them a place where they could feel safe, happy and somewhat free!

    • @TheEnd0117
      @TheEnd0117 2 года назад +1

      @@blacprophet1153 it wasn’t inevitable that Powder became Jinx. Her older sister failed her. When Vi first abandoned her I can maybe get since Marcus took her away but once they were grown Vi had numerous chances to help Powder but she always chose and prioritized Caitlyn. That’s why I don’t like Vi, because she knows how hurt Powder is and how much she needs her and she kept going after Caitlyn. As an older sibling myself I would never choose someone I just met over my siblings, especially when I know they need me.

    Giving Jinx over to Piltover is actually terrible for Zaun.
    Zaun would still be sacrifing it's people for Piltover. Jayce's killed a similar number of Zaun's citizens himself and many more were killed by other members of his raid. Why doesn't he or others on the raid need to face justice?
    Jinx is Zaun's greatest military deterrent. She is basically a hextech "nuclear scientist", so giving her up would be like Zaun giving up it's nukes. Ukraine gave up the world's 3rd largest nuclear arsenal in 1994 and it is working out great for them /sarcasm off.
    Once Jinx is no longer acting as a (nuclear)deterrent, Piltover could renege on it's deal in either the short or long term. There are countless examples of a stronger country invading it's enemies a second time if their enemies have become weaker for some reason.
    (post to help the algorithm)

    • @jonasquinn7977
      @jonasquinn7977 2 года назад

      The major difference is that Jayce and his enforcers were taking part in a police raid of an illegal drugs factory and seemingly only escalated to killing people once the Chemtanks got involved whereas Jinx is a literal domestic terrorist
      Also one person does not a deterrent make, especially when she’s not even the best combatant on their side
