Thank you Grace for Purpose for these messages they make us read the Bible and meditate. I tried to think about Hannah and Peninnah in the same house for all those years and I came to a conclusion that, we all need to realize without God's intervention we are helpless to overcome any of the problems we might face and that we should learn to give up control and depend entirely upon God. To Hannah's credit, she persevered despite the criticism she experienced. God will always support us even if the people around us do not.

It's sad that she wanted a SON, not to be a Mother, but to stop the bullying of her rival. It's a blessing the Lord answered her prayers and she kept her word to give Samuel in Service to the Lord. GOD does answer prayers...righteous prayers. I've learned that unanswered prayers can be a blessing as well, even if we can't see it at the moment.
Hannah had a specific prayer and that is what she asked God for, exactly what she wanted. If we people of today have faith like Hannah we would be asking God for exactly what we want instead of beating about the bush. I guess Hannah knew what she wanted and that she asked of God.

For your shame ye shall have double.... I remember when God first showed me that scripture. I don't think i had ever slammed the Bible shut before in my life. Unfortunately, i did! I was like oh no way! That was a fight that i of course lost. I think i wrestled with God for 4 or 5 months before i surrendered to that scripture. That was the worst 7 years of my life...... I must admit though, God was with me every step through that very very painful ordeal🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌😃
