This helped me a lot. I have the exact same model. The last time I used it was 3 weeks ago. This morning I opened the laptop and surprised to see lots of ants coming out of all the ports and vents. This video guided me to disassemble it and found ants making a nest right below the battery. I wonder how long they've been there. Good thing I didn't have to disassemble everything, only the battery and the hard drive.
@@DeathGirl13666 Hey sorry for the late reply. I used compressed air to blow away the ants, then a small paint brush and a mini vacuum to clean up what's left. It might not be a good idea though because I've heard that the electrostatic caused by fast moving air (compressed air and vacuum) could kill delicate electronics but I was desperate and those things came up first in my mind after I managed to disassemble the laptop.
Thank you for this video, every other one I checked only said the battery screws needed a "special" bit. Didn't have a torx 8 on me when I first took one apart so redoing the thermal paste was a no go. This time I was prepared, thanks to you.
Not gonna lie, this laptop is complicated af. Trying to change just the thermal paste takes forever and based on this video, it seems like I have to take EVERYTHING apart. Maybe I should bring it to a shop.
I mean, not really. It's actually one of the easiest laptops to work on. If this seems complicated then you probably have some gaps in your knowledge. It also depends on what you want to do. If you have to get all the way to the motherboard, take it to a shop. You could do it yourself but if you aren't comfortable going all the way then it's probably safer to take it to a certified professional.
Thank you very much. It helped me out to clean lemon juice from the deepest end of it. Unfortunately it didn’t power on so I ended taking it to the support team in my area.

That is weird. You can sometimes find from the manufacturer what the blink codes mean. You could also try cleaning out the heatsink (can of air) to make sure no cooling problems exist. Check your RAM to make sure its seated properly. Otherwise you will need to do some searching for the blink codes. Good luck!
@@Sellbrokedotcom ty for reply me back I know what is the problem now that is my motherboard was broken by electric system and my chip on motherboard was grilled but I change it and clean my heat sink and fix the heat problem now ty.
It will only work if there's a connector on the motherboard for the backlight. You would have to find your motherboard part number and see if it has one.
I would first try using compressed air, like the cans they sell for electronics cleaning, and shoot it into the vent to help clean out any possible debris that may be causing a fan imbalance. Otherwise if that doesn't work you may need to replace the fan.

No, the sound is on the motherboard and you probably have a discreet video card (not on MB) if it's an Nvidia video card. Laptops don't produce loud sound, just get some external speakers. The sound stuttering is typically drivers and/or software, start there. Speakers don't "stutter" when they are broken, the sound just becomes distorted.
