I picked The Lion Wonen of Tehran! It sounds amazing and that's the only one that really stuck out to me
I'm really curious about the team of people who pick the books. And about the add-ons: sometimes the really anticipated, popular choices are add-ons.
They make those ones add-ons in order to get people to buy one of their main books. It's a marketing tactic. Even if their main selection fails to catch interest, the add-ons might tempt people to buy just for getting the add-on selection.
I want The Rom Comers, so I might get One Star Romance just so I can get it. The latter wasn't on my radar at all, but I like the idea of following a couple over time.
The book choices were absolutely terrible this month. Where is Riley Sager and Beatriz Williams??? I hope they will be July offerings. I chose the thriller and four previous offerings to fill out my bookshelves. Thanks for your opinions!
Aardvark had Bride in March, is there maybe some contractual reason BOTM couldn’t have it as well?
There are possibly two add-ons I want, but no main picks! 😩 I might pick Honey since I’m mildly curious... It just sucks you can’t pick an add-on for a main pick!!

I got A Talent for Murder to get add ons. Even though it’s third in a series it can be a stand alone.
Yep… felt the same thing. And yes I was surprised about Ali’s book. Not bride but yes to this?
I picked One Star Romance and got Volume ø as an add on.
Skipped this month too.
I also skipped for June. I wasn’t very impressed. Plus I was bummed Riley Sager’s new book wasn’t there. Hopefully his book shows up next month.
I wasn't impressed either. I chose Honey. I didn't even think about looking at the Add On List because I was distracted and in a hurry. Dang! I hope I like it.

I skipped because Jackpot Summer wasn't a main pick. I'm disappointed.
I skipped June. Not one of these selections sounded good to me.
I got A Talent For Murder. It was terrible
I skipped this month, too. All the book selections sound awful and boring....Not impressed
This is the first time I skipped ever since I’ve had BOTM and I’m so sad. I just wasn’t feeling any of them. Even though I liked the thriller, I hate that it’s a third in a series. Honey sounds a lot like a 90s Daisy Jones and the Six but I don’t know, I just feel like it can never live up to Daisy Jones and also it just reminds me of Britney and I rather read her memoir. The romance also sounds cute but I’m just not feeling it. Like you said, I don’t need this right now. I’m just disappointed especially since there was not one LGBTQ+ read in Pride Month. Hoping for better picks next month. Womp womp.
