Ibushi looks like he’s in some of the best shape of his life.
Double Knees Moonsault, Package Driver on the ring apron, tiger bomb of the top rope, good god I could say so many thing, but I may end typing up a full match report.
This was one of the best matches, if not, the best match of G1 Climax 28. It does feel like there might be a sequel in the future, since Kenny did not use the One Winged Angel in the match. When that repeat match happens, it is going to be amazing.
Tanahashi vs. Ibushi will be an incredible match and it is probably the best match to end this G1.
I hope Ibushi got some medical care before he left
This was a surprise to me since I thought Kenny could beat Ibushi but all of it is okay since the storylines actually make it more interesting. I think Tanahashi used to say that Ibushi has all the talent in the world but he was lacking motivations??? If I think that was what Tanahashi said Ibushi could finally prove to Tanahashi what he got! But either way I'm fine with Tanahashi winning the final and face Kenny at Tokyo Dome since it be interesting for Kenny face the man he beat for his first heavyweight tittle match the IC tittle.
Jiji Android yeah Tanahashi being the final wall for Ibushi really makes a lot of sense.

That and the fact that Kenny just faced Ibushi. Similar how Kenny beat Okada last year in the G1 right before the final and lost to Naito. Because Kenny v Okada at WK13 would have been too soon to have the rematch. Putting them at the Dome now seems a little too soon anyway. They havent even been back on speaking terms for a whole year yet. Breaking them up at this point wouldnt have mucb of an impact. Kota and Kenny at WK next year makes more sense if they dont do it before and Kenny still has the belt.
let's hope Ibushi sign a contract when that happens and if Kenny still with New Japan since i think his contract expire 2019 if i'm not mistaken.

Wow that abrupt ending and the cameras trying to follow was compelling as hell.
Chris Hathaway I think the reporters were asking too many questions and Ibushi didn't want to spill the beans about the future.
Ibushi VS Tanahashi, must be one of those passing the torch moments and if Kota is going to W.K to face Kenny for the title, there should be some kind of issue in their friendship to make it more interesting.
That match by far was the best out of the g1 climax 28 second to Sanada and Naito, however I would like to see more of matches like these. Kota you got my support golden 🌟

Kota will win the G1 but i feel he will be the first man ever to lose the certificate to face Kenny to someone else, probably Tanahashi in a rematch at a later pov, only to secure Kenny's reign until Ibushi can challenge him later and defeat him for the championship after Wrestlekingdom.

Ibushi win over Kenny Omega so basically he's guaranteed a championship match, I'm not sure what his decision is if he lost to Tanahashi in the final.. But he could win, it's still unpredictable.

Since Omega never beat Ibushi, it would of made more sense if omega won the g1 and chose to fight Ibushi for the title and then lose (depending on Kenny's status once his contract expires)
That just shows that Njpw trusts Kenny , they know he isn't going to sign with wwe
I don't see Kenny losing, it just wouldn't make sense for a lot of reasons. Kennys not going to WWE till at least 2020 (hopefully longer, preferably never)

A tie breaker is determined by who won the previous encounters during the G1. Since Ibushi beat Omega, Naito, and Zack he automatically wins the tie breaker.
Pich Naton he beat all other 3 who tied with him, the person who won the match with whom they have a tie with gets the tiebreaker. Ibushi beat Naito, Zack, & Omega, thus he is the winner of that block.
Ibushi has beaten all the other three guys in the four-way tie. It's a tie breaker.
Zack, Ibushi, Naito, and Kenny have 12 points each. Ibushi beat all of them so he wins
