Same here. We talking about quite possibly the two greatest wrestlers of this generation. Okada is the ultimate ring general, and Kenny is a trailblazer like nobody before him. I accompanied Kenny's work since his DDT days, and it's fucking amazing how far he's gotten.

Oh they're making history once again....new fans to NJPW may not know this but this truly is unprecedented. When it comes to the single titles, NJPW is usually very strict: no multi-men matches, only 1 vs 1, 1 fall, 60 minutes time limit. It's the standard. It's very rare that they deviate from that...a few examples: only TWO times the title has been on the line in multi-man matches, only TWO triple threats ever happened; the No DQ stipulations was only used recently for the US Title and the Lumberjack match was only used for the NEVER Title; the only time 2 out of 3 falls was used was for the IC Title when La Sombra beat Shinsuke Nakamura in Mexico for it, because those are CMLL rules. Also, no time limit means these two guys will most definetely go over a hour. This will be something else.

I also said "usually". I'm pretty sure in fact there have not being any other fatal 4 or triple threat for the junior title in a long time (or maybe ever) before the one at Wrestle Kingdom. That too is another rare exception to the rule.

Matthew Shaw am I the only one who thinks their WK match is better? Their dominion match is fine but I feel like the only reason to put it over their WK match is because it went for 60 minutes. But I think their WK had way more insane spots and thrilling sequences and athleticism. The only spot I liked more in their dominion match was Kenny collapsing under the rainmaker. If that would have been included in their WK match then my god.
I think I’m at the other end of the trilogy! I love all the matches almost equally but the G1 match is so fucking good for 20 minutes!
MrPlanck let’s be honest, wether you enjoyed any of the 3 more than the others, we as fans are still the winner hahaha I loved all 3 and the WK10 one isn’t far from last years domintion. But the fact they went at such a pace for an hour just absolutely blew me away, I can watch it to this day and still be gripped by it like I was the first time

Okada has more charisma on the mic in a language I can't understand than almost all the wwe roster.
I love NJPW camera work. The shot at the end when Okada i looking away whilst Kenny is leaving the ring, and Kenny turns round and smiles. Amazing.

Wrestling Dontaku Night 2 might have honestly been New Japan's second best show this year if you ask me, which says a lot since we also had cracking shows like Sakura Genesis and Strong Style Evolved. Dominion, however, is shaping up to be the year's best show already.

It’d make sense. First of all, it took 4 rainmakers to put away Omega, and the match took longer than the main event at WK 10. Their second match at Dominion, Okada couldn’t put him away, and the match went to a draw.
Most importantly, Kenny was the last person to beat Okada in a singles competition, championship match or not, even if that match was in the G1.
Now it comes to just past the circle when it comes to Dominion on who has the edge in the win loss record between the two.

One of the greatest moments NJPW ! Okada bragging about all the people he beat and coming from the shadows his old rival Kenny Omega to challenge him to a 2/3 Falls Match for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and would dethrone him for the title at Dominion 2018.
You know I think Ibushi will inadvertently cost Kenny the match. The bullet go to interfere which brings out Ibushi and he accidentally hits Kenny costing him the title. It would be great to build from there to there eventual match at Wrestlekingdom (Ibushi vs Omega needs to happen)

One thing I love about NJPW is their handling of big matches lije this. Omega and Okada have met in singles matches only three times since last January, the last match was during the G1 last summer.
And while they will meet in tag matches, I feel it doesn't take anything away from the bigger meetings. In fact, I feel it makes the singles matches more special.
Compare that to what WWE is doing with AJ/Shinsuke. 3rd match is tonight, with the first being roughly a month ago. I guess that's a downside to having PPVs every month.
