Here are my two cents: I have tried A LOT speakers in this amp, modern and originals. For clean jazz tone the legend L 1218 is the best I have tried so far in it. A 16 ohmed G12T75 modern takes out the low mids so makes it sound very sparkly and fendery- good if you want to. A vintage V30 that had a dense steely tone- good for slide guitar. Greenbacks sound very woody, but are not my top choice. G1265- similar to the stock HH 1265 in many ways, very nice. The best was an EVM12L, original, in a thiele cab. And the best overall was an Eminence 16 ohm Lady Luck- unbelievable speaker. So good it make me email Eminence to ask for similar contemporary speakers of them (lady lauck is an OEM Emily speaker) and they informed me that their currently produced equivalents are the CV 75/ 65, Reignmaker, Governor and Legend L1275recommended- and they are correct, you may go with any of these!!! From Celestions for this amp I recommend: Alnico blue, gold, cream, ruby. G12H anniversary- not the Heritage. Any Creamback, especially the H75. V type first, A type second. G1265/ T75. 70-80/ G12P80. From Eminence those I mentioned first plus the GA SC64 plus many others. From Jensen C12N, K2, P12. This amp packs a lot of punchiness, boominess and low mids due to circuit design and small enclosure so you may need to compensate for that with the speaker choices. It is a GREAT amp, totally recommended.
Correct I have the 12 R with the FS1 reverb on /off, foot switch.. Use this amp via a ABY pedal with a Orange Dark Terror for gain rhythm. and lead... Works a treat... Mic'ed up + speaker out to a 212 cab...
Changing V1 will help as well as getting a more efficient speaker. However, at bedroom volumes I am able to get a pretty solid Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2 tone out of it without using pedals. Reverb: 7, Tone: 7, Volume: 8, Mid: 4, Treble: 7, Gain: 0.9 (Below 1). I use position 4 on my strat with the bridge-on switch (all 3 pickups simultaneously) and I love the clean tone 🤘🏽 I use the 1w input at home but if you want louder volumes I’m sure it would sound well with the 15w input, although I’m not sure if it would be able to keep up with a band. Cheers
I gig w/ an 18 watt Marshall and I never have it past 3 in a 7 piece band. Most of the time I'm asked to turn down. So, I'd suggest that Yes, it should be loud enough. Now if you are playing an arena, then no, but that's not what its made for.
Not familiar w/ an AC10. But as long as I have at least a 10" speaker, ( I use a 1x12) and the cab can be mic'd up through the PA and monitors I could do just about any gig.

Suena espectacular!!!!..
Holy intonation batman.
G and D strings on the Les Paul are flat and it's driving me nuts
Excellent demo
great amp!!
great demo!
only weakness to this excellent amp is the clean, wonder if it's the speaker?
most probably the tubes..switch the 12ax7 to a 12at7 and it cleans up quite a bit..
Sounds better with a Green back.. and a set of matching Tubes...

DARK ART!
Is this amp loud enough to gig and practicing with the band?
no it's not

+Dan Medawar so you can also gig with a Vox Ac10c1?

If you utilise the speaker out to a 212 cab and mic up yes all day long...
Nice
