I'd hope that Mayors could have a deputy or two just because a person generally can't be on 24/7.

I think there needs to be some kind of ally/enemy outline shader to improve the visual clarity. At least in certain scenarios

My poor eyes. Steven for the love of god don't release the game with so extremely bright vfx. This isn't a 80's disco.
100 eyes 100 tastes for vfx, I like it for example
I would love to have setting option to scale everything up or down, including vfx
@@vojtechstiborsky9522 it's not about tastes, really, when everything is that bright it's hard to figure out what is going on around your character. Your eyes WILL get really tired after a while, and in the long run you'll damage your eyesight.

I hope there is an option to tone down all the FX. That looks so flashy. Flashy doesn't mean always better. Slight amount of flashiness is cool, but when it affects your visual so much it can be a bit too much.
WoW could never
It's always sad to see abilities track enemies through objects. Need a more realistic combat system like New World, even though new world failed to listen to it's community, the combat system still sets a high bar.
They use a hybrid system from what I understand. New Worlds combat is cool, but lets be honest here, tab targeting or hybrid does appeal to a far greater fanbase. I love New Worlds combat, same as BDO, but I also love WoW's combat and seeing it go out the window makes no sense. I can also tell you a large amount of older mmo gamers, do not want Action Combat exclusively. I showed this to several of my friends that were heavy into WoW and Guild Wars. Loved the look of this, they picked up BDO and dropped very soon after because of the combat same as New World (despite it sucking in general). Plus the server does not have to calculate everything like a fighting game, it does afford alot easier structure for servers when developing. Two types of combat should exist. I mean, Titan Fall exists, does that mean every shooter should look and play like that? Of course not. Why should that extend to MMO's?

It does look outdated. It looks like it doesn't belong in the game. They should probably tone it down a little bit and make colors more consistent with the environment.
The games not even complete yet for one. And two you probably play wow that has the most outdated graphics ever.

And so does combat, all it's extra, 50% of time u are lock in place, stuff goes through trees and rocks.
Graphics dont matter as much as you think they do. If the gameplay is really good but the design is meh, game is still one of the best.

Respectfully, no. MMOs have one chance to establish a successful future and that's the release. If the game isn't full enough upon release, people will try it and never come back. Let's make sure this thing is fully cooked so we can enjoy a community for 10+ years.

You sound so incredibly stupid. "I WANT MY GAME NOW" Thats how a bad game comes out. Yall cant be happy when a dev refuses to release a game before its ready. But yall hate a game that releases unfinished. Just shut up and stop gaming.
Way too much GPU processing power used on these type of silly animations. I get they look "cool", but will only downgrade the experience to users without the latest hardware.
Please give an option to tone these down, or have graphical settings turn them down depending on the setting.
Also one note : They truly don't seem to match the art style of the game? Honestly looking at the game world - and then that thing pops up... It honestly doesn't flow aesthetically. It truly looks like you implanted an animation from a totally separate game with a different aesthetic.
I would certainly look at reworking this, and the rest of these "buff" animations if they are all among the same art style.

You have to have some sort of fitting theme to your abilities or they will lack identity.

Its visually shallow game that doesnt grip you at all. Its main selling point is mechanics and that just isn't enough.
Who wants to play a game in which models look worse than some free Unity asset?

I just don't get giving a Single Player or a Few Powers over Everyone else in the game. So, if you were a Serious gamer and with a guild, you could easily become a Mayor and Never be involved. Seriously, You could even have it be an alt in a Different guild and control both sides. So then a Single Player can determine if you and everyone else is Successful. That's a Joke ..Right? Steven enjoying playing GOD in his game. 🤦
Bet there are restrictions to counter this. Not to mention, buffing a single person is fine. That allows for a commander role. In any game, commanders always have some cool unique stuff that makes them strong. This employs that feeling. Not everyone should be successful just because. This is an mmo, gotta fight for the good stuff.
Can us filthy casuals get refunds on our backing? I want to opt out since it seems like a no-lifer only kinda game..
Filthy casuals are busy working… so I’m sure you can afford to back the game still.
