I love how the Defendant makes a statement, JJ asks for proof, the statement changes, and the proof given to the Judge shows NOTHING. That's a sign of a pathological liar. They're used to lying on the fly😮.
Yes! You're quite right! And it is most definitely a pathology, because hell will freeze over before they ever stop to think that every challenge deserves a new story. It also gives a glimpse into how they think, because besides not making much sense in isolation, the stories will never make sense when examined together - but that won't stop them from spinning a new one! It's the impulsive defense mechanism of a brain that has some issues in reasoning, I think.

He’ll be wearing a starched western-style shirt with sleeves so well pressed you could cut yourself on the crease, a bleached white undershirt, some western-style trousers, also pressed so tight you could slice your finger on the creases, a hand-made (probably by a Native American) leather belt with fancy scrolls carved into it and his initials landing in the very center of his back, a western-style sports coat - pressed until the creases will slice paper, and some snake-skin cowboy boots, possibly made out of some rattlesnakes that he shot right before they bit someone or some horse. If he’s wearing a tie, it will be a bolo tie, hand-made by the same Native American who made his belt and probably have a nugget of turquoise or amethyst on the slide and silver aiguillettes on the tips. And he’ll be clean shaven and have ‘old soul’ eyes that sparkle.
