This is true when you’re bored and depressed you can find ways to do stuff like hobbies, painting, photography and things you like to do. Wow, I really needed this. I just went through a huge life change, moving back to another country on the other side of the world (Georgia 🇬🇪). This is the goal that I had been working hard towards for the last couple of years, but now that I'm here I just feel like I'm frozen. I have so many things that I want to do and to create, but I find myself hiding in my apartment during most of the days, finding it hard to get any motivation to work on my art or make videos for my channel. I don't know what happened but I feel like I'm wasting my days and my time in this beautiful place. I know that I always go through this funk during the Summer, especially when it's so hot I can't deal with it (I get reverse seasonal depression and always get depressed in the Summer, yet thrive in Autumn and Winter). I am filled with so much inspiration around me and I am trying to make my dream of living as a traveling artist a reality, but... I'm just going through some tough times right now. I've been working hard on my RUclips channel, but unfortunately it's been such a slow process. It's hard not to get frustrated when you put so much time and effort into your work and hardly anyone sees it. I know one day I will look back on these days and laugh, but it's the reality for me now. Thanks for this lovely video, I feel like it came at the right time for me. ❤
Hi! Thank you for watching my video and for your insightful comment. I so get your struggle. I hear lots of people working towards their dream goal and when they get there, they get stuck and sad. I think it's because we put our excitement in the external goal and in the end, we see that external situations don't "save us". It's the inside excitement and living in the present that can be reached at any moment and at any place that gives true purpose and satisfaction. Regarding your art, I have been working on my RUclips channel and art for years and went through so many shifts and am still not where I wanna be. It's so frustrating sometimes. I saw a video recently that really spoke to me regarding this. It's by a RUclipsr Uncomfy. It's the last video she posted right now. It sais "Harsh truths" on the thumbnail. Anyways, I wish you to get unfrozen soon and to flourish in Georgia. I get how much courage that takes so don't be too hard on yourself if you're not there yet! Much love! You're awesome. ☀️💖
