@@wolololer The camera doesn't do that slope justice. It would've been impossible to move over at that point as it is so steep. He did the best he could, running until it flattened out a bit.
@@wolololer Look at how difficult it was for him to get the bike down that slope on foot. There was no way for him to make room any sooner than he did. I understand that the other guy was annoyed, but the track is difficulty enough on it's own.

@@eliasziad7864 No idea if there are differences in bike racing but normally when you're ahead going into the corner, you own the line going through there, which means he did a legit overtake there.
Rules don't mean the guy won't get pissed though of course. Still funny situation :D

Oh, how I enjoy sitting here sipping my coffee on my cozy warm couch watching these picturesque beautiful events. Hopefully, some more viewpoints of the same event coming.
Great job with the race. The only thing that could make it better for me personally would be a small position tracker in the corner post-editing. I try and keep count of how many are ahead but I can never be sure if a person and their bike on the side of the track are involved or just watching. Not to mention those that get swallowed by the wilderness as did the person that fell shortly after you. lol Thank you for sharing these with those of us too lazy to leave the couch. *sips more coffee*

Subtitles are a nice touch Damien. Narrating while Bike Riding is hard your crazy for doing it.
I love your racing because you are talk during race and enjoy him and I also enjoy and not bore during your race
I don't like how blue took his comment from earlier when Damien said "yeah boy" when blue passed him, then blue says it back at him in a cheeky way.... like come on, gross sportsmanship. I'm positive Damien meant that in no way to be malicious or aggressive. oh man your bike takes a beating on this run, that last bit that broke your shifter.... ouch. terrific focus and skillful handling 👌

Love watching this race - absolutely awesome, but also kind of depressing.....my bike is capable of doing it, but unfortunately my skill and fitness level is not...haha -- great video as always.
Everybody can go and try! I have done it this year for the first time, with no preparation and two broken ribs... Not easy at all but you are not obliged to go fast ;) And pleasure is already there!
