EASY THANKS TO YOUR VIDEOS!
Recently back from a first time trip to Disney world. Travelled from the UK. Watch so many of Robs videos before we went. Without doubt the most helpful and useful tips, advice and guidance. Rob you videos really made us feel like we knew what we where doing and made our days so much easier. Can’t say thank you enough for your knowledge. Look forward to a return trip soon.
So glad to hear it! Thanks so much for making our videos part of your trip - we really appreciate it. 😃
Best Disney World videos you can watch to help prepare for your holiday. Our family just returned from a wonderful trip in early Sept. We have 4 kids and the mother-in-law, so a group of 7. The Genie plus was too much of a added cost for our family to have, and we did not want to be glued to ours phones, we managed to do pretty much everything in all 4 parks with the help of Rob's videos. We did have early access, which helped with the key attractions. Rob has a very likable personality, very entertaining and helpful to watch. The only disappointment of the trip was, we were always on the look out for Rob, but never saw you. Saying a big thankyou in person would of been a real treat ! Even thou our once in lifetime trip has come and gone, I still watch the new content. Keep up the great work.
I’m so sorry we missed each other! Next time you come for a visit, let us know and we’ll try to find an overlapping day at one of the parks. Thanks for watching! 😃
I am also watching the videos even after my holidays. Totally agree! Best videos ever. ♥️
Thank you Rob!!! This advice worked for me greatly. Got my 7:11 am Ratatoullie for 9:55 am return. At Park Entry 9am Bought LL for Guardians 3:40pm. Rode Ratatouille and got 10:55 am Soarin’ Over California. Rode Soarin’ and got 11:55 am Journey into Imagination, Journey was down, got a Redemption reward at Guest Services. Tried to book Frozen before I left them, failed. They gave me an Anytime Return for Frozen. Ate lunch and did a 3pm Frozen followed by the 3:40 pm Guardians. Did 4:30 pm Moana and then our 5:40 pm dinner at Les Chefs de France. After that did shopping followed by 8:30 pm Mission Space, and 9pm Fireworks. What a full day, but at the expense of no character meet and greets.
I got to see you at Epcot on Sunday! We did the whole
Park without Genie plus!!! I yelled your name out and I was in a sea of people and couldn’t turn around for a photo! You’re the best Rob!! You helped me plan my trip and make it worthwhile! ❤❤
My husband and I were also there on the 23rd, and it was so busy! We, too, had the glitchy Genie+ issues that morning, but we were still able to get a LL for every ride we wanted and ended up having a great day.
Nicely done! 🙌 That was a challenging Genie day for sure. 😅
Rob, you made our holiday! Your Genie+ advice had me working like a lightning lane ninja, so a big thanks from our family! 🎉
Great video Rob! Your Genie + tips totally made our last WDW trip. The absolute key trick that you taught me was to select "Change to this time" from the modify screen, and at the second screen, tap back out if you don't like the return time. Then you keep tapping in and out of those 2 screens until you get the return time you want. Complete magic, it almost always works! I gave up on pulling down to refresh because when the new times show up, when you click one, you might lose it on the second screen. I had as many as 5 Lightning Lanes stacked in a day and kept refreshing each to optimize return times to minimize criss-crossing the parks. I have to say it was all thanks to your videos that I was such a Genie + expert! Thanks so much! Keep these videos coming!
Awesome - so glad to hear you had great luck with the genie slots while you were here. And yes, I use that tap-in-tap-out trick all the time. 😅 It’s a lifesaver.
Is this what is talked about at around 16:00?
I love your positivity!! Things going not as planned? Opportunity! Love it ❤
love your videos! thank you so much for sharing all these valuable tips!
Always look forward to your video, exceptional as always!
Some days are better than others. The main thing is don't get excited, roll with the punches, and have a fun day like Rob did.
Hi Jim! You’re absolutely right - flexibility is the key to a great Disney day. Thanks for watching! 😃
I'm here right now. I've been using your tips and getting on Everything. Wow. Thank youuuuuuu
Im going to Epcot later this month and I’m glad you just created this video! I’m definitely gonna use all of ur tips for my trip!
Fantastic!! loved this video thank you :)
I,ve just returned from Orlando and your tips were the best!!! Love your videos!! ❤❤
Ear Scouts has made my Disney vacation so efficient and AMAZING! I watched so many videos and talked to so many people and this was channel gave us the ability to get all the high volume rides early and hit all or almost all the rides in every park every day that we wanted and them for R&R. My friends that go to Disney every year don't know how we are doing it. LOL. Genie slots is the best tip EVER! Never played for more than 5 min to get what we wanted.
I always enjoy watching your Genie tips. Thanks Rob and Eric :)
Hi Timea - always great to hear from you. Thanks for all the support for our channel. We really appreciate it! 😃
Crazy that it was so busy in September, but you made it all work out! I love that you didn’t criss-cross the park and got to spend plenty of time in World Showcase!
Thank you so much for all that you do! We always enjoy your videos, always so informative! Thank you!
Thank YOU for watching them! 😃
Love the videos Rob. Thanks again for all of these tips!!
Thank YOU for watching! 😃
Thank you Ear Scouts! I needed this video because I am flying out this weekend for my first DW trip. I have watched all your other GeniePlus videos and I have to say they are the most helpful ones I have come across by far! I feel so much more confident navigating my day and these apps. You are the best! Keep up the awesome work! P.S. I love seeing everyone waving in the background maybe I'll get to wave too LOL!
We’re trying to plan a short trip in early 2024 and this video is such a relief that we should hopefully still be able to get a lot accomplished with all of these tips! Thanks for everything you do!
A video on what a split-day would look like between Hollywood Studios and Epcot would be amazing at some point in the future
First off, I'm not an ears person, I think they're awesome but just can't justify buying them. But I'm telling you, I would make an exception for those Figment ones 🤩
I would love to see a video of all meet and greets, those needed for Genie+, not Genie+ required, but just plain interested in all available. Plus, I just plain love watching your interactions.
Watched all of your Genie+ videos. Made such a big difference during my trip last week - our family had fun “playing the spots” and we were able to get Remy right at park open, and pushed Frozen from 4pm to 10:30am by modifying and refreshing. Your tips worked perfectly! Thank you!
Thank you for this video! Loved to see a "not perfect" genie plus day. Much more realistic
Thanks for the tips. You are my go to guy for genie plus pro tips. I love you man.
We just got back from Disney and I WISH I saw this video before i went. The tips you have here are golden. Thank you for sharing and I’ll be watching your videos to prepare our next family vacation to Disney this upcoming year. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I want to say thanks we were there in end of August and your tips were amazing.
It's so awesome how fast you have grown.
I appreciate all of your videos. Thank you and keep up the great work.
We are so grateful for the amazing support we have gotten from people here on RUclips. Thanks so much for watching and for leaving this lovely comment. 😃
I can’t wait to try out all my Genie knowledge in April, thanks Rob!
I have a feeling they are really going to shake things up in 2024 - but we’ll let you know as soon as anything changes. April is a great time to be here - hope it’s an amazing trip! 😃
Thank you for all you do Rob! We are going to WDW next week and love watching your videos. So helpful!! We hope to bump into you while on our trip!
Hello! Hopefully our paths will cross while you’re here. Hope you have an amazing vacation either way! 😃
Hi Rob, I just returned from a very successful Disney trip and your videos were just precious for the planning. Thank you so much! ♥️ Best Disney World Park content ever!
Aww - thanks so much! So glad to hear you had a great trip. 😃
I was so excited to meet you last week in Animal Kingdom. Such a huge help in planning my daughters Disney birthday!
I watch as many of your videos as I can and absolutely love the content. I have to say THIS video was one of my favorites. It’s “easy” (but, also not, I know) to show how to have a successful day at the parks with Genie+ properly working, but to show how to adapt and improvise and overcome is so helpful! And keeping a good/positive attitude while that’s happening, which you always seem to do, is so much of that process too. Thank you so much for sharing this and all of the other great content you do!! Only request? More videos! 😉😄
This is a good video! For our last trip I planned for a year, I researched Genie+, I checked the system and the times continuously, I had a plan. My plan was ruined at 7 AM when I got a late LL for Remy. Watching your videos now I see how I could have fixed this problem other than how we did it. So happy they are going to change the system so that we can book some ahead of time again. That really helps my group of 9 to have a much more efficient day! My Mom refers to Genie+ as Genie- because it has really not been great for our large group. Thank you for the videos you make! They are so fun to watch and very informative! :)
Omg the “foot in the door” 🤯🤯🤯
Love your new Ear Scouts pin!
Thanks! You reminded me that we need to order some more. 😅
My family and I are going to be in Disney in 2 weeks for our daughters very first trip! I am absolutely loving all of your videos! Thank you!!
That’s so exciting! Hope you have an amazing time at the parks - thanks for making our videos part of this special trip. 😃
It was awesome seeing you outside of Tomorrowland speedway last Sunday! Keep up the good work!
Thanks for saying hello! We always love meeting folks in the parks. We had a great time at MK that day - hope you did, as well! 😀
Rob thank you! I 100% mean this when i say it, your Genie + vids are the absolute best on RUclips. Thank you for doing these. Secondly, i also just love how you do any Disney vlog so keep the content coming! Cheers from Maryland!
Thanks so much! We are planning to start doing some different kinds of videos soon - some shorter, simpler videos that we can post more regularly, but we will always continue to make our traditional videos like this one, as well. Thanks for this friendly comment, we really appreciate it! 😀
Sounds great! And i love that you are a big craft beer fan like me! Cheers!@@EarScouts
Rob, you are simply the best!!! We’ve been and returned, had hoped to see you but you seemed to have been our side of the pond 😂. Anyway, thank you for all the tips, we were very prepared BUT didn’t use Genie+ once, late August and early entry is the way to go, but let’s not tell everyone. Thanks again, I will carry on watching and hope to spot you in the future 😊
So glad to hear you had a great trip! Sorry we missed you, but we had a blast at Disneyland Paris. Can’t wait to go back! 😃
Great tip on how you can accidentally use your bonus LL! That is something I so would’ve done bc I’m always badging in early. You think of everything!
Welcome back Rob - were taking a second trip this year in Dec so the updates help a lot
Hope to catch you in the parks when we’re there - just booked all our ADRs (got 7 out of 7 targets) and are planning to do your top 10 Christmas list video from 2022😊
Hi Marcus - we had so much fun making that video - I hope you have just as much fun doing all that stuff as we did. Thanks for watching! 😃
Thank you so much Rob... we are heading to DW next month and the Genie+ is quite worrying to me (not having been to the Parks in 20 years) 🤔 great tips so we are not glued to our phones all day 😊 love the photobombing in this video... including the 🦆
Love the videos rob, keep them coming. I was surprised that you had not ridden the original soarin though, still my favorite version.
You solved a great mystery for me!! I had a Slinky DD experience redemption mysteriously vanish.. I knew it had to be related to scanning into our Star Tours LL bc the one of us who decided not to ride that still had their Slinky redemption. But I couldn’t figure out why it had used the experience redemption instead of the LL. I looked back at my (slightly obsessive) record of my day and I had scanned into Star Tours 3 minutes early. That must be why!! You are a Genie Plus Master! Can’t wait for the next Paris video 😀
So I’m planning a trip to Disney for Christmas with the kids and came across your vlog. Wait a minute! That guy looks my college friend Rob! And it IS! Rob, these are amazing. Clear, concise, helpful, beautifully edited. Your joy in WDW as well as your natural charisma really comes through. Keep it up! Please give us this season Christmas videos when it all starts!
Hi there, Mary! So fun to run into you here in the comments of one of my videos. I guess it really is a small world after all! 😂 I'd love to see you when you are here to visit, so let me know! Also, we will definitely be doing some Christmas videos very soon. Thanks so much for saying hello. 😃
Yayyyy
My tactic is simple. Book the next earliest Genie Plus. If it was over 2 hours out, I booked a second one. By doing this, I got passes for all major attractions in Hollywood, Epcot, and Magic Kingdom and it was packed those three days.
The orange smell is my favorite. That was the Soarn’ from years ago. I didn’t know it had a name.
Great video man! My fiancé are driving to Orlando on the 14th to visit all the parks! Maybe we’ll see you! Much love brother!
Thanks so much! Hopefully our paths will cross while you are here, but we hope you have an amazing trip either way. 😃
I feel like most Disney content creators talk about their personal ideal day, which I love, but they don't show the step by step of how to do it. I so appreciate you showing us the exact time you get up or book things and show us your phone screen to show what exact buttons to press. I also feel like yours is based more on intel rather than personal preference. So helpful for people planning first trip.
I'm a Disneyland expert, but never been to Disney World before. It feels a bit weird to go into a Disney park I know nothing about. I feel much more ready now! Thanks so much!
Hi Meg! Thanks so much for this lovely comment. We love visiting parks that are not our home park because it’s so fun to see the things that make each one special. We can’t wait to come visit Disneyland again soon. Especially to see Haunted Mansion. Every time we come it has the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay so we’ve never managed to see the original. Matterhorn, too - that one is always under refurb or closed for weather or maintenance when we are there. 🤷♂️ Hope you live WDW!
That is so wonderful! Would love to have you out here in CA. I visit Disneyland every month so if you ever need Disneyland intel, let me know! @@EarScouts
Welcome back Rob! Can’t wait to see rest of Paris report! What a day you had! I appreciated seeing how you dealt with all the chaos with so much grace. If you had gotten that experience redemption at frozen I would have been curious to see what rides were included. Using experience redemption was really interesting and worthwhile at Disneyland but never seems to be covered much for disneyworld since it’s so unpredictable and times are SO far out. . People seem to use it on the original ride and don’t seem to use it as a bonus lightning lane on a different ride. Wasn’t sure how that redemption you said you got from a cast member for remy might have worked? Thanks as always, I just love your coverage,
Hello! Thanks for the warm welcome home. 😃 Yes - this was a crazy day for Genie. I was definitely planning on showing the Experience Redemption - I just never got it. 😅 As for the one for Remy, it had no other rides listed - it was just for Remy and it showed up in the My Day view. I never ended up using it, but it was very nice of her to give it to me.
Hi from the UK. Just seen us getting a picture with Minnie in the background. Must have been Sep 6th. Love your videos. Would have come and said hello, but you was in full swing. Good to see you from a distance though. We are booked for next September, hope to get to meet you sometime. Keep up the great work. You keep me and my partner motivated between trips.
Ooh. What’s the surprise? 😊
Travelling from Norway (the real one😂) soon, this is so usefull, thank you😁 I have heard that epcot has been very busy recently due to the new water journey attraction and soaring above California, hope it calms down soon🤞
Hi Rob, Our family LOVES your videos! I was hoping to get an Ear Scouts pin for my 2 kids, but I don't see them in you online shop. Please add Ear Scouts pins! Thank you for all the tips and tricks! We can't wait for our upcoming trip!
Your videos are very useful, thank you! Do you think it's possible to take advantage of the early entry to do Remy and Frozen so that you can use your first genie in Test Track?
Hi Rob. So glad to meet you. I love all your videos.
I like the strategies you use to navigate the parks, I'm going to Disney soon and I'm going to follow your advice. But without using Genie +
I have a question for you. If a go to Epcot, there is some other way or entrance to get to the France pavilion. without having to walk to much.?
thank u so much for this video.. i love how you pronounce. I'm not a native speaker and I understood you completely... could you make a video about the new dinning plans please??? thanks again!
Hey rob you are my go to for all thing genie+ and which rides to ride in which order. I when to Disney back in april 2023 after a hiatus of 13 years. with your videos and genie+ plus park hopper me and my wife rode every major ride in all four parks in 2 days. then the other 2 or 3 day we could relax more. thanks. Im thinking of starting my own RUclips channel what gear do you use to make your videos? also what do you use to edit your videos. Thanks again.
Hey Rob! Saw u at mickeys not so scary halloween party and talked to you at the haunted mansion, i was wearing a spider-man costume, thank you so much for the huge help your videos were when planning our latest disney trip! Did Hollywood studios and epcot with genie + and was able to ride everything pretty quick thanks to you!
Hello - yes, I remember meeting you! So glad to hear you had a great trip. Thanks for continuing to watch - and for saying hello when you saw me in the park! 😃
Hi Rob, I always take note of your tips. Would you recommend getting ILL for GOTG first or a LL for Test Track? Thanks.
I love to travel on my own to Disney as a time for myself and this strategies work so wonderfully ! I found it feels easier for the Algorithm and system to accommodate one person versus 4, 5 even 6 !!! I wonder if this strategies also apply for groups like with a family of four or even more with Disney Genie plus !!! ?
Another amazing video Rob!! Just want to share my excitement since we finally reach the one month count down to our family's first trip to WDW after I prep myself by binge watching your videos!!! 😂I think I have memorized all the maps and signature attractions based on our preference, and understand all the rules for Genie+ LL, ILL, VQ and extended hours from deluxe resort reservation (we could not use the early enter since we are flying in from PST, could not get up at 4am ... but I might set an alarm for 1 day or 2 for getting the VQ, ILL and first LL, just could not count on my kids to adopt this schedule. One question I still need to clarify is that for "stacking LL" even before entering the park. I think we could book LL using Genie+ for hopper park even when we are at our first park that we made the reservation for that day in the morning (before 2pm and before we enter the next one) since we have hopper tickets. Am I correct? Is this also possible to do before we enter the park (when we are fighting with time zone difference in bed🤣)? Or we could only book Genie+ LL for park with park reservation before we enter? I believe we could grab and buy ILL out of pocket at 7am for any park with hopper tickets, just for ones we do not have reservation, the time will be assigned to a later time (after 2pm). Could you verify? Thanks so much in advance, Rob!!!
Hello! Sounds like you are prepped and ready to go! The good news is that as long as you purchase the version of Genie that allows park hopping (it can now be bought for an individual park or for all 4) you can book for any park you wish starting at 7am. Keep in mind that you can only book rides in the park you have a reservation for if the return time is before 2pm. That said, return times fall beyond 2pm pretty quickly for the most popular rides. Also keep in mind that you can’t modify a Lightning Lane to a ride in a different park than the one the current Lightning Lane is booked in. So if you book Remy, for example, you can only modify it to a different ride in Epcot. Hope that helps!
Thank god I asked! We went to CA Disneyland in June and I feel pretty confident on how to fully utilize Genie+, but I overlooked the updated feature at WDW for the four huge parks. I have already linked my hotel reservation and tickets and park reservation using the app and I also feel great about my preparation. Gosh, I did not check the Genie purchase feature because I know I could only make the purchase on the exact same day at midnight. After reading your response, I checked the app and understand the June released new Genie+ for WDW. Nice work, Disney always knows how to get our hard making money, and we always feel great to pay for the happiness! lol. Again, thanks so much, Rob! @@EarScouts
Hi Rob - just back from our trip (did you see my husband in the Ear Scouts teeshirt?) anyways - we used your tips and rode everything we wanted to, had a great time at MNSSHP, enjoyed the food and wine festival booths - so thank you, thank you, thank you - still watching to keep prepped for next year :)
Hi Tracey! I’m so glad to hear you had a great trip. Thanks for continuing to watch our videos - hopefully we’ll see you in the parks when you are here next year! 😃
Never too late for an Ear Scouts Genie video.
We’re so glad you feel that way! 😅 Hope y’all are doing well.
I love your videos! Could you please do a 2024 strategy version for Epcot? Would it change much from this?
My name is Craig Dennis how are you doing today i watch your new videos all the time i in joy all of your videos all the time you have a nice safe day today you take care today👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Craig! Hope you had a great week. Thanks for checking out our latest video! 😃
Great tips !! I can’t edit to use all tips & ticks 11/11 - 11/16
Hope you have an amazing trip! 😀
Hi! If I am park hopping to Epcot from Hollywood studios (Dec 27/28th) I will likely pre buy guardians but do you think Id be able to get a virtual cue when I get there and ride it twice? Or do they not allow that? Thank you, LOVE YOUR VIDEOS
Just recently found your channel, i just want to THANK YOU for all you have done in trying to help people with there WDW trip. My question is when i buy Genie+ before 7am can i buy it for all my family members(4) on my phone only or will each member have to buy it? The same question about the LL , can i buy everyone's LL on my phone at one time or does this have to be done by each family member, i guess what i am trying to say are we all linked in the app? Also can you have more than just yourself working the phone for the LL and the ILL and VQ? Any info would be great....THANKS.....PG...
Hi Rob. Our family is much too big to buy Genie+ for everyone on top of park tickets. Are you planning on doing a day at Epcot without using Genie+ like you did for Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom? Thank you for all the great content.
I was there that day too. It was nuts. Ratatouille broke down when I was riding it. And had to get walked off. I never could get back on. It was showing wait time of 3 hours with no lightning lane.
great video! i am thinking about rope dropping test track at 8:30 and trying for remy as the first lightning lane... what do you think?
That’s a great strategy when you’re entering from the front of the park. I’d flip it if you were entering through the International Gateway in World Showcase. We actually have two early entry videos - one for each entrance. Thanks for watching! 😃
I'm assuming it'd be smarter to use your Early Entry time for Remy versus using the Lighting Lane, especially if you came in through the International Gateway entrance...?
Hi Rob! I’m from Brazil! Drink some wine day before the video? Lips are purple at first time of the video 😂!
Lol - no idea what that was from. From my ears to my shirt, it was a very purple day. 😅
@@EarScouts Really everything purple kkkkk! February go to Orlando! Hope to encounter you in the parks! Nice videos and information! Congratulations 🎉🎈🎊🍾
Hello! do you suggest star with epcot, so yo learn here how to use genie +?
Are you able to ride virtual queue rides more than once per day?
Hi there. Was hoping for a good advice from your end.
How can I early enter epcot from the international gate way if I’m a Hilton Buena Vista Palace guest? I understand that it’s impossible to enter. Hope you can tell me otherwise.
I am unsure where else to ask. Is your webpage up and running? I signed up some time ago but am always unable to log in. Love all your youtubes.
Do u still recommend genie if you aren’t spending the whole day from start to finish in a park
okay serious question...is school bread only available in the morning at norway? because that treat sounds heavenly!! thanks again for always staying upbeat even with the crazy crowds and genie glitches
I am very pleased to report that you can get school bread all day and night. And it is delicious at any hour. 😂 Thanks for watching!
What a day! How often does the system break down like this?
I’ve never seen anything like this before. I see gremlins a lot in the morning - especially right at 7am, but they usually sort themselves out within a minute or so. I think it was just because the parks were unexpectedly crazy crowded and Genie kinda melted down under the load. Thanks for watching! 😃
Hi Rob! Thanks so much for this video. Going to Epcot in a few weeks with 4 grandparents, 2 parents, and a 4 year old. How long do you estimate approximately it would take to take your time to leisurely stroll through Epcot checking out each country (trying to hit all the princesses)?
Ooh - that’s a great question. If you want to meet the princesses, you’ll need to build in time for each of their lines (and there are several). I would say budget 30-45 minutes for each country and then add an extra 30 minutes for each princess you want to meet. Some countries won’t take that long, but others will take longer if you decide to watch a show or ride an attraction like Remy or Frozen. Also budget more time for any sit-down meals. Off the top of my head, the princesses you can meet are Anna and Elsa, Belle, Aurora, Mulan, Snow White and Jasmine. You could also consider doing breakfast or lunch at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Norway. We haven’t done that one yet, but I think you can meet several princesses there and that would save some time. Thanks for watching! 😃
Thanks so much Rob! I really love all your videos. They have been so helpful planning our trip and I really appreciate them and all your insights!
Great video but two weeks late for me :( went to Epcot on September 15 and we focused on the rides at the front of the park and we didn't get to enjoy world show case :(
So sorry to hear you didn’t get to enjoy World Showcase - but now you have a great reason to come back soon! 😅 Thanks for watching! 😃
@@EarScouts All of your other videos prepared me for my vacation, in the other parks I survived because of you, thank you so much for that :)
Did you film this on Saturday sept 23? Never mind you answered my question! Saturday had the same 45 min issue Sunday we were there and had the issue but not as bad maybe 10 mins. Sad we didn’t run into you!
Yes - I think I accidentally said Sunday in the video, but it was Saturday. Such a crazy day! Hope you still had a great time in spite of all the gremlins. 😅
Hi Rob! I’m curious about your GOG strategy… I was ready to have 2 phones going at 6:55am, one for LL & one for virtual queue. But this video you say try for GOG at 1pm? We go in November (Nov 8) so just curious if you think I should still try for 7am or wait until 1pm… also we were considering buying it to make sure we get it but you seem pretty confident a virtual queue can be acquired! Any tips welcomed! ❤🎉😊
In my experience, it’s been very easy to grab in the afternoon lately. Especially if you’re grabbing it right at 1pm. I’ve literally never not gotten it when I tried right at 1pm. That said, it depends on what your plans are. If you might park hop later in the day or you’d prefer to ride Guardians earlier, I’d still go for it at 7. Otherwise, you should be totally fine to grab it at 1. If that changes, I’ll mention it in a future video, but I doubt it will before Nov 8. Thanks for watching! 😃
@@EarScouts thanks! That is a relief. Also, just curious since you just did an Epcot video, have you ever done the KITCOT scavenger hunt or the duck tales scavenger hunt? I haven't seen anyone do a video on the kid scavenger hunts. Heard they are pretty fun! Even for adults! And even the wilderness explorer in AK and pirates one in MK. That could be a fun video too! :)
Hi (ho) Rob, what do you think to this for my epcot day strategy.
I'm thinking of using genie+ to book frozen & test track and lining up 5 mins before closing at Remmy. We were thetr last year at spring break (which we will be this year too) & it was fairly crowded. I played the genie slots, albeit not for 15 mins at a time and never managed test track after getting Remmy & frozen. I'm thinking of just not booking remmy & seeing the fireworks from France while waiting might be a better plan this time?
Accidentally using an experience redemption... I'm having flashbacks lol
Rob will you be updating this one?
your videos are great! I was wondering if you could help me with this question; so my younger brother is still under 18 but is very keen on taking care of our genie+, I know that he can’t pay for it, but will he be able to book our genie+ activities? our family is 3 accounts connected through the family and friends feature
Hi Charlie! We’ve met families where kids as young as 10 enjoy booking Lightning Lanes (and in some cases are the best at getting great return times - it’s those video game reflexes 😄) so yes, no problem with your younger brother booking the rides. As long as he has a normal Disney account (not a sub-account of a parent or guardian) he should be good to go. Even if he has a sub-account, he can just use a device that is logged into one of the regular accounts. Hope that helps!
@@EarScouts yes that’s very helpful, thank you! we’re planning to be on right at 7am to book our first lightning lane, so we’re wondering if you can buy genie+ any earlier than 7am on the day of? wouldn’t buying it right at 7am take away valuable seconds from getting those popular rides? thanks in advance for any help 😁
@@charliegibson5472 You can purchase it starting at midnight on the day of your visit. Good luck!
@@EarScouts ok thank you! vacay is next week 🤩
Question, I'm sure this is covered in another video, so my apologies, but if we have early access and able to use the skyline, should we be fine getting into Remy between 830-9 without booking it as a lightening lane, or should we still grab it?
Hello! As long as you are lined up at least 15 minutes or so before early entry begins, you should be fine riding Remy during early entry. If it is a really busy day (like around Christmas), you might want to aim for 30 minutes before early entry begins. In that scenario, I’d try to do Remy and then head straight to Frozen and I’d make Test Track my first Lightning Lane that I booked at 7am. Hope you have a great trip! 😃
@@EarScouts awesome, that was our plan, we're going next week, Halloween season, so we may still get there 30 minutes earlier. Ty though, very appreciated!
@@EarScoutsi just ran into you in Great Britain Epcot. Sorry i said the name of the channel wrong lol, but ty for these videos. We used your advice and have been able to do everything here comfortably, even with rainy weather. Ty again for doing these videos.
We usually do Disney in the evenings, will this cause us not to be able to get remy/guardian etc?
Hello! As long as you book your Lightning Lane for Remy earlier in the day, you should still have no problem getting it. Check out our “Sleep In” series of videos where we show how to book Lightning Lanes for later in the day. As for Guardians, you would need to pay for the Individual Attraction Lightning Lane if you won’t be entering the park before 1pm since you have to physically enter the park to try for that one. If you’re staying at a Disney hotel, you can book the Individual Attraction Lightning Lane at 7am. Otherwise, you can book when Epcot opens. Thanks for watching! 😃
Hi rob- I have a question regarding the LL redemption when a ride breaks down. In your video, frozen didn't work. So genie sends you a redemption (I know it didn't on this particular day). My question is, if it's 2 hours since you last badged in, and the ride breaks, do you get a new LL plus the redemption?
Hi Ben! That would be great, but it only helps you book again if it is the most recent Lightning Lane you booked and the two hours had not yet passed. Good question, though - and thanks for watching! 😃
Thanks!
Next video has to be the Disney Beer Guide!
Rob, do you mind doing a new Epcot video that is not filled with gremlins. ☺️☺️ Thanks!
We’ll definitely be updating this one for 2024, but I can’t guarantee a gremlin-free day. 😅
@@EarScouts thank you! Here’s hoping you don’t have a Gremlin filled day! ☺️☺️
I’ve recently heard that purchasing genie plus opens at midnight and can sell out. Have you found that to be true?
Especially Xmas week…
Can you check into fast lanes without the magic band? If so how?
Hi AuntLou! Yes, you can use your park ticket (which they give you a physical version of at no extra charge when you enter if you need one), or your hotel key card if you stay at a Disney resort. You can also use your mobile device if you set up “Magic Mobile.” Most any device that can do the tap-to-pay thing can also do MagicMobile. Thanks for watching! 😃
Why did they go back to the OLD SOARIN???? ❓❓❓❓👎👎👎👎
UGH‼️‼️‼️
It’s just temporary for the 100th Anniversary celebration. I think it will go back to Soarin’ Around the World soon.
Thank you!!! We travel in 46 days from the UK and your videos are so helpful. I also really appreciate that on days like this when things with Disney’s technology aren’t going to plan, you continued to film and show us what you do in that situation because you help so many with this!!! 🫶🏼
