couldn’t agree w you more on MUT + abilities… The other night I played a demi god squad. Dude had unstoppable force on his Parsons as a normal ability & like 4 avalanches. My team had 0 chance. And unless you spend 1,000$ or you play 4 hours a day you will fall behind these days.
I play MUT bc I like using my favorite all time players and every time I’ve played regs they quit in the first quarter. In MUT, especially this year, I’ve had tons of close games.
I play MUT for 1 the aspect of team building. I love using the players I like as well as thinking of the best way to optimize my team, abilities and all. I love having the choice to set my team up to be the best to give myself the best chances to win.

I've been running a motion style offense from Spread since I seen Miami irl offense this past season 😂😂 it's awesome, tho I don't break out the RPOs till my opponents use one, then it's game on

I play mut because I like to have my team how I want it, the players, abilities, I can make a theme team. I have to work for my team and I like to play h2h to climb the divisions and do house rules to get the rewards to help my team. I also like to open packs and buy players. Although I hate overpowered players and abilities. Which is something I don’t like about mut. I have to know all the formations and good abilities to keep up. I get to use all-time/retired players that I couldn’t with regs. I feel that mut makes me better then regs does as well. I enjoy to try out new players that come out all the time, In regs it’s all the same players and I believe the ratings that madden give aren’t fully accurate in regs. I also feel that in mut you can have no holes, in regs every team has a weakness. In mut you can make a perfect 99. A downside of mut that I have is that you can’t make custom playbooks as you can in regs. I like that madden gives out new promos in mut. Also you can have more abilities in mut. In regs a qb can only have 5 abilities. In mut Tom Brady has 7. Plus you can choose your abilities in mut. In mut there are unique X-factors. With charge ups and angry runs. And also abilities such as truzz being an ability. I also love the card art that mut gives and mut also gives bad players good cards so you can use your favorite player that isn’t good at a high level. In addition I think it’s good to not play straight chiefs and bills over whenever I’m trying to mess around. I just think regs is plain out boring no reward for winning besides a win on the leaderboard. That’s why I play mut.

Facts but mut is just to broken, you can’t throw the ball because when you do knockouts happen literally everytime even sometimes if you pass lead it. And mut takes no skill, everyone runs the same offense, double post, double corner routes and some glitchy blitz. Regs not every qb has hot route, so you gotta actually come up with a offense. But people still find a way to spam. Mut you can have a 6’7 99 speed corner that’s not realistic 😭😭
@@TheRealVON26 yea and I can never stop the run because everyone has William Perry with freight train AS AN ABILITY, which means it’ll stay on the whole game. They will also have vanguard on everyone on the line so the blocking is perfect and it’ll just be a stretch RPO which means I can’t guess run unless I user the bubble but then then they’ll run the ball and run around to the outside because my defense won’t go to the outside they will go to between the guard and tackle.

Regs struggles because of the lack of hot route masters and such. I can't use my seahawks on Regs and be competitive, MUT I can be with a theme team.
Also for the slot offset where you put the hb on the table with the swing, my combo is the streak still but texas the hb, it gets naked when they run down to play the swing with the user or the corner can be open
I play MUT because it’s a faster paced game mode, and because it’s the most competitive, I love the mental chess match

I am going to strongly disagree saying that a top MUT player would crush a top REGS player. I don’t have money or time to have a good MUT team, when I do I win a lot of bowls. Every year in about November I am forced to switch back to regs, and with the ability to create your own playbooks in regs it feels like I have no competition. I use pro concepts I don’t use glitchy plays in the offensive book, Bunch offset, Bunch, tight offset, tight, pistol wk, eagle Trey, and a few others I added onto the broncos playbook.
The top players in regs just use glitchy stuff and use the best teams to give them an advantage, any REGS player who is ranked 5,000-1,000,000 I am 45-4 against 2Ls were desyncs but we count em. Everyone ranked 4,999-1 I am only 4-7 against. Just have gone up opponents using top teams when I’ve had the bears, panthers, falcons, raiders, and packers. And yet I only lost by 10 or less. I just spin a wheel and whatever team it lands on I hop into the game. I am 100% sure that if we played a regs game it would be close. I’m not going to say I’d win 2/3 times because you’re solid, but I would definitely make you work for it. Next year I’m hoping to have a good team because I want to make more RUclips videos on that. I just hate you can’t do custom playbooks in MUT, obviously I wish they would set parameters like adding 2 formations to one teams book.
I don’t think a top MUT player would crush a top Regs player due to they both will be running something meta, dollar/ bunch but the average mut player will crush the average regs player

I play mut over regs due to the skill gap mut has over regs & also how often it’s updated / fresh content. being able to use legends is fun.
If they made realistic week to week updates to regs rosters, I’d play regs a lot more. probably mut more then regs still but ya never know. just would love to see the rosters updated more frequent for sure.

Using legends, combine legends, college players, all super fun. Team building is great. Love trying to counter the metas with my own creations. At the end of the year it’s always fun for me to build a Sea TT and run it against god squads too.
If they made realistic week to week updates to regs rosters, I’d play regs a lot more. Hate how all they really due through the season is pull players out due to injury but don’t change ratings really.

And I switched from CFM to MUT like two months ago. I enjoy the team building probably as much as I do playing. But it’s just nice not having to deal with 31 other guys and just playing whenever you want.
That’s the one bad thing abt cfm is having to orchestrate games with 31 other players

Mut gives you the opportunity to use different players.
Regs is just 2 teams as it sits. Mut I can have Payton, Smith, Tom Brady, etc all on a team. I also enjoy oop players.
Like they could just sell coins. But selling trash packs then you sell them and they tax it. And then people have to buy more packs hoping to get something decent. Makes them way more money then they would just selling coins
I think EA made MUT so popular by having all the big tournaments be MUT. That way everyone else will play it cause the pros play it. Making them a ton of money. The taxing all the sales of cards and packs being trash unless it’s a opp pack is crazy.

@@daltoncook3235there needs to be a tax on the auction house lmao you cannot have a functioning economy in anything without taxes, if there wasn't a tax you could literally duplicate coins by doing sets and if everyone is rich the economy is ruined
@@capo5602 the tax has minimal to do with the auction house. Without it you would just see an increase in prices to account for more coins
The tax is so EA can artificially reduce coins in the game. Less coins means people spend more money on their offers for guaranteed cards/coins. The tax is purely a business/greed move with no real game benefits
You're right about better comp on mut, but i don't think the average mut player is beating the average regs player. Just don't see it happening. I know you've said that these players face better comp with playing against pros which makes them get better at the game, however, we see your videos and we see so many average mut players rage quit after 2 maybe 3 drives. These guys aren't getting better when they rage quit 2 minutes into the game.

MUT ruined Madden for me. Am I an old head? Yes, I did play MUT heavily but you have to either spend countless hours or countless dollars and I ain't bout to give EA anything over 79.99 plus tax. Cant wait for NCAA tho even EA cant ruin that after 10 years right?
