In this tutorial I guide you through creating stained glass earrings using wood, uv resin, and beads. I've used two part epoxy resin in the past and it's messy and slow, but UV Resin is a game changer for making jewellery.
This tutorial covers the materials needed, staining and cutting the wood using my xTool F1, but you could use a Cricut and I'll share the digital file for you to use.
Here's a link to the accompanying blog post where you can find all the materials I used:

Thank you Dianne. Do you have a Cricut? You can also cut the wood with that as well.

This is a fun project and so pretty! ❤❤. BTW there is a resin tape that works even better to hold the forms while adding the resin

Thank you so much for letting me know. The acetate or silicone mat actually worked fine but I will check that out. I've not used resin very much and I've had varying results.

Thank you, Beth. It was actually Andy's so I can't take the credit. My contribution was the beads.

These are absolutely gorgeous! I'm a newbie and have been practicing my loops. I can get the 1st simple loop just fine, but after the bead that 2nd loop, ugh. Downhill from there.

Real artist oilpaint can be used with resin.
Here in Denmark there was a supermarketcompany called Irma.
Their logo Irmapigen is famous here. Very simple logo but there's also paintings of her.
    Maybe look for inspiration.
Probably can't copy logo 1:1 because of copyright, but something similar could be made with your lasercutter.
Maybe more than one looking at eachother?

Could gold, silver, amber etc as powder or dust be used in resin?
Thin enough the light goes through.

Yes, I have added mica to resin and it works fine.
