The Urban Gentry is a market mover, you create demand on some of these watches with your quality video reviews. I often go search for watches after I watch a video and I don't think I'm the only one! Thanks sir for what you do!
I'm SO happy that I quickly discovered your channel when I got into watches and copped myself a SNA411. I still love it to this day after owning it a year, it was my first "real" watch and I will never get rid of it. Now my watch collections keeps growing. LOVE your channel
Another to add is the Seiko SARG009. Originally they sold for around $350, they were recently discontinued and are now selling for upwards of $1000 now!
Yes, in 2050 or something. But even more than for the money, lets keep our SKX watches, gentlemen. Enjoy them, use them. And always keep it with you even when it breaks. Memory. We can remember these 2000-2020 years etc
After a year of wearing apple watch and some MVMT watches. I finally stumbled over this channel, and i am really glad I did (Before i purchased another MVMT watch) I just bhought my first SKX, and now i am looking for a Seiko 5 snkl23, can't seem to find it anywhere.
Not really, there's literally millions of them and buy the time they might hold their value, that is if you never wore it and it's still new in the box. All the old Seikos you see going for high dollars on eBay or watch forums is because the hipster nostalgic trend which I believe will die off here soon. Plus, a lot of those autos have never been professionally serviced, basically opened up by amateurs that have no business cracking them open in the first place. Watches are a poor investment unless you can afford luxury brands.
Thanks for all you do to keep horology alive. Your passion and love for even the $30.00 watches, is what keeps me coming back to your channel. I think the industry owes you a debt of gratitude, especially since you have been the driving force behind many impulse buys just because of your content. I am sure the Gentry can attest to that 😂
Thank you so much William, rather speechless. I am not sure what to say but a million thank yous. Regarding the impulse buys, if it helps I am my own worst enemy too! Life is short, why not I say! ;-) Best regards, TGV
The Urban Gentry - What he says is true. I didn't know about sinn except from reading that my 90s Revue Thommen was similar to a sinn model, until I saw your review on the brand. The owners of Watchbuys knew of you also when I mentioned your channel. So, obviously I'm not the first person you sent their way for a sinn.
I am wearing a TGV inspired impulse buy right now. When I was going through your older videos I saw that Blue Orient Ray 2, and ordered one within a few hours. It might be the most versatile watch I have ever owned. I works well as a casual on a nylon nato, and if put on a leather strap it looks very nice with a jacket.
John Clark Am trying to resisted and hang on for a Sinn 104 the older style design like TGV's but your comment about the Blue Ray looking good on a leather strap is not helping! 😃 as i have a Colareb on a old watch which would go nice on it.
Very nice video. I have owned some expensive, luxury brand watches, and have sold them because I didn't feel that I wanted to have the money "tied up" in an object that was gradually becoming less desirable to me. Your enthusiasm for these older, and perhaps quirky, watches is great. I've never seen anything like it. Thanks!
*** Small correction - I meant to say Keith Haring not Patrick. Forgive me, I just watched Terminator 2 and had a serious brain fart. Not to mention I also like Patrick Heron too Anyways, thank you. Best regards, TGV

I have been following your channel for the past 3 days and slowly getting into watches because of it. Your passion is obvious and natural and to be honest, it is utterly contagious to a great way. You have my sub! Regarding the value of watches, the Seiko SARG009 was on my purchased list, this was based on your review of it. As its been discontinued, the prices has gone from 429 USD to 1200 USD on amazon!
can you do a vid about $500 or less "heirloom" watch. The ones you can pass on the next generation and will keep on running and/or will retain or increase it's value
I just bought the Seiko flymaster for less than 130. I feel like Its my birthday today. Thanks to your video my friend.! You're definitely the Universal watch Guru.! I watched this video before and I'm watching it again. So much to learn. Thank you.!
In my opinion another great value for the price is the Seiko Sarb017 "Alpinist" because the design is unique and the green dial is very beautiful. In my little collection I also own an Omega hand winding from 50s.
ive got given to me that citizen watch at the end by my dad. Sits on the wrist perfectly and after many years of drops and scuffs it still comes out looking new
Currently the Seiko Monsters Gen 1, 2 and 3 are skyrocketing in price and definitely have the making of future cult classic in the watch community (especially the Orange Monsters). Thanks for the great channel and content TGV.
Keenan Kirkland I just read your post & yes, I can't believe how much the SRP009, Orange Monster, has gone up in price. I picked mine up for under $200.00 on Amazon a couple of years ago, now they're $500.00 plus, if you can find one.
I've looked alot of places over the internet and I'm definetly not seeing any close to being the $215 price range (I've seen bids starting at $215 on eBay and then they sell for $450 or more...Do you mind stating where you're finding the monsters available for those prices and actually in stock (especially the Orange Monsters)?

Now THIS is the type of video I like to see! I'm trying to do this a bit myself. I just bought a Seiko Prospex SSC277 on Ebay. It was a display case discount, effectively new with tags, for $150 (US Dollars). The tag was still on it when it came, sticker marked for $575. This watch recently got discontinued. If I sit on it for 5-10 years, I should be able to sell it for at least the original sticker price because it will be in like-new condition. That's if I can't resist wearing it - it just looks so freaking cool!
A watch that gets more expensive with time is the Strela 3017 chronograph. A few years ago it was definitely below 500 dollar. Nowadays it sells for 500-800 dollar.
Lance Henriksen, the actor who played Bishop in Aliens, is definitely one of those thespians that always looks familiar, like you've seen him in films before, but not easy to remember their names. He's a fine actor though.
TGV, thank you so much for the excellent video! Right after seeing it I went to my local watch shops here in Spain to see what I could find, and believe or not I see a new old stock Seiko 8m25-7110, never worn for half price! The only thing is that they replaced the original leather band, but still a great find thanks to you! Best regards, B.C.
Please. 2022. The insight is very interesting! And brings to light some under appreciated gems. That seiko is gorgeous, wish it was a little smaller. 🤖 I can imagine driving an 80’s Beamer with that on my wrist.
Great video, TGV! I think you missed an excellent chance to further promote the SKX (Sometime in the next decade, I'll bet they'll end up getting up to $700 or more). Another piece I think will double / triple / continue going up is the Steve Jobs rerelease from Seiko.
Thanks TGV for this insight! My Seiko SARG009 which I bought 1 year ago doubled in value from $400 to $750 on Ebay due to it has been discontinued :) Really hope you do a review of this great watch soon! Keep up the good work! Best regards Jarno from Holland
Thanks for all these videos, the vast majority of my knowledge about watches has come from you and a book, The Wristwatch Handbook. I highly recommend checking it out, it is fully illustrated and goes into a reasonable amount of detail about how a mechanical watch works and how all the various complications work. It is called: The Wristwatch Handbook: A comprehensive guide to mechanical watchmaking
I don't consider myself a collector... as I haven't actively chased watches until recently... then I found your channel and sub'ed. The watches I have are watches I've bought or were gifts over the past 30-ish years. 1: I have a 1985 Keith Haring Modele Avec Personnages GZ100Special... the dancing men - gift to me by my aunt. I was in middle school... I still have it, although beat to hell! 2: Citizen eco-drive pro diver. 3. Citizen eco-drive chronograph 4. Rolex GMT Master 1675 ( inherited from my dad. the watch that started it all). and 5. Helgray Bomber automatic. Just bought from kickstarter. Absolutely love it. Now I'm looking for seiko sxk's, a SINN, and I want about 100 other watches since watching your channel. Keep up the great videos! I love your perspective on this subject
Great article TGV, personally, I've never lost money on any Seiko and have made a fair bit in the past. I managed to more than double my money on a beadblast alarm chrono, almost RAF style number. As you may know, the genuine RAF Navigator issue watches from the 80/90s are rocketing however bashed up they are. Finally, the hero DW5200 I bought in '84 seems to have shot up over the years. Keep the great work up, Boss.
Totally agree on the Alpinists, its happened to all the previous versions. As for the NY2300, I have still yet to try one but I don't doubt it. Thank you, Best regards, TGV
Random Rob Thanks for the tips. I could get a Seiko sarb017 for ~300€. Is it worth buying it? How long will it take for it to go up in price? Thanks :)
interesting video. I recently purchased the citizen, but had to order it from Germany. It is indeed a little gem. would never have known about it if is wasn't for your channel. Many thanks.
I'm the happy owner of a stainless steel Omega Seamaster Cal. 351 bumper automatic from 1949 with the same dial as the one Ryan Gosling is wearing, just in two tone gold with a slight patina. It's just 34.5 mm wide, but thanks to the rather bulky case it looks larger. I paid somewhere around 300 bucks for it, now they're selling for around 1000 - 1200, depending on the condition. I fitted it with a brown twostitch leather strap with black stitches, which complements it very nicely. I absolutely love this piece.
Hi there, I've been watching your shows on the Channel for about 3 months and I have to say that it's a fantastic one in comparison to the other Channels. Although your taste of wearing the watches is not as the same of mine but it's sensible and respectful. About this video I'm agree with you about the models. It's good to say that I have my own collection and there are 30 watches in it. Love you so much and I want you to keep it up cause there's no one left like you to understand the value of the watches. I think there's a straight connection between a person's characteristics and the watch which he wears. Good job pal and good luck. Have fun.
I'm also both a book collector (more so than watches) and a big Vermeer fan. His excellent exhibition is currently on in Dublin and then DC next. Also love Taschen books generally. they put out beautiful editions. Thanks for your entertaining and educational videos!
Great topic 👍I have spent many thousands on a watch before but with more and more great watches for less than $500 I don't see the point in spending anymore than this.
I often feel that way. When I wear my SKX, especially that modded one I starting thing why do I need anything else! Then I suddenly come back to reality LOL, I just love them too much. Best regards, TGV
I have that book. My wife and I recently lost our best friend. She lost a fight with MS. She was an incredible artist for over 60 years. We inherited antiques, many pieces of her art, and her ART Library. We now have most of that series of books. On another note I have taken advantage of the drop in value of actual books and have bought many of my Grail hardbacks new in wrapper for 10% of the original price.
Personally that Seiko "alien watch" doesn't do much for me. I wish I would have bought one at the lower prices to be able to sell for 3-4x the price now though. I usually don't look at watches as investments because I plan to keep them, and wear them rather than resell them.
My word! I'm glad I bought my Flightmaster a while back. Thanks to you TGV! I lusted for the white dial, but unable to find. Very happy with the black. It Rocks! As do you! Cheers Mate.
Thank you Amro. I have to email you tomorrow. I nee to ask you a few things about the Omega. Sorry for the delay my friend. Very hectic, I hope you are well. Best regards, TGV
My opinion on inexpensive investments: 1960's-70's vintage Seiko quartz watches, especially the King Quartz, Grand Quartz, Type II, and QT ranges. They are JDMs and have gorgeous cases and classy dials.
Watching this wearing my SNA413 I got from you, still in love with it to this day! Good to know it's becoming a bit rare, it's one that is a keeper for me! I can't tell you how many compliments I've gotten on it T! Have a good night my friend.
Just settling down to chill 100% and I know your vid will send me to sleep, not because they’re boring (far from it), but because they’re so damn relaxing. It’s a bit like having a mental massage.
Just found (and bought) a Casio gw9200 for the equivalent of 110 usd in Norway. Looking forward to getting it. It will actually be my first g-shock 😳👍🏻...this is getting addictive!! Help!! Lol
With TGV having 125k subs then the channel creates its own market and hype..whatever watch you say is great thousands will start looking for that piece creating the false market amongst your own....Rolex have been tapping into the herd mentality for years...
I just bought a 35mm 1958 Omega hand wind dress watch for $100 that wasn't working. I looked it over, demagnetized it and oiled the bearing jewels and it sprang back to life. The real bonus was the .750 inside the case back indicating it is 18kt gold! It now sports a new alligator strap and my Rolex is in the safe on the weekend!
He also fought genetically modified intelligent piranhas before all of that. Half of that movie was by the one who did the majority of the movies you listed but he got fired.
@@theurbangentry Yes, the only actor killed onscreen by all three. You could argue that Bill Paxton was another but not convinced he was killed in The Terminator.
Hi and many thanks for your post,- nice to see that youre thinking about items for the " small man" and not some upminded luxury products that are oftenly overpriced. Your list can go on and on: - Casio Remote control watches - Any diesel limited edition digital watch - citizen independent series - Seiko/ Alba/ Spoon ,- for example secret agent Regards from your distant fans from the balkans
Sorry TGV, but Taschen books have been going cheap for years and years. It's part of their mission, to produce beautiful editons at very modest prices. I wish more watchmakers would follow this path....
I know watches are your wheelhouse but I think of you expand your reviews on other gentlemanly things would also be epic and good for your chanel. Food for thought.
Because of you I bought the Seiko "Flighty" SNA411 last year and 8 months later the price has gone from 280 Euro up to sometimes 450 Euro over here in old Europe. It's pure madness.
Just a quick update. The SKX007/009 was never released over here in Germany, so if you want them you have to import them from another European country (I got mine from Italy) and they are a lot more expensive than in the US. You have to pay at least 230 Euro for the rubber strap. In contrary the Citizen NY0040 is readily available over here for around 180 Euro with the rubber strap. I just ordered my third one (I have the blue sunburst, the cream glow in the dark and finally got the black version with the steel strap). There is definitely a difference in what is available in the US and in Europe (specifically Germany). Other Seikos like the Prospex are readily available. Quick edit: there now actually also is a SNA411 available for 690 Euro. Insane!
Lance Hendriksen! I believe.., yes, he did the "Alien vs Predator" film. That was my favorite ~ alongside "Aliens" (#2 in the franchise)..!!! The BEST of the Best!
Little fun fact, I believe he was actually originally going to play the Terminator (also considered was Billy Idol) and Arnold was going to play Reese.
Hey TGV! Just wantedquickly comment to thank you for all the work you put in this channel. Thanks to you, I bought my first 'real' watch today: a Seiko SRN049! The first of many I hope :)
Love your videos, keep up the good work. A comment on Sinn here...Yes they hold value well, but it is also a niche brand. If one needed to sell in a pinch, it would be a lot harder to sell, than say a Tag of equal value. Only place to get a buyer for the Sinn would pretty much have to be the forums. Sinn is great though.
I bought a Swatch Scuba 200 from 1993 three months back. New out of the box around 40 dollars or so on ebay. Don't have to be too careful with it so I think it makes for a great vacation/beater watch for going to the beach or any outdoor activity. It has some history and is inexpensive which is nice!
I've got an early 1950's Seamaster caliber 352 in the chronometer version. It's a family hand me down so I'll never sell it but I never see them for sale so it's hard to see what the value is. My Great Uncle was on world trip in 1953 and when in Lucerne Switzerland he wanted to get a nice watch. I have his diary and he said he went to Rolex, Gubelin, and Omega and bought the Omega because it was the most expensive (too bad he didn't get the Rolex.....). At the time it was basically the top of the line in the Omega line.
Very interesting pieces. The Omega is a gem. I’ve been wearing a beater day-date Timex that I wore back in the 90s and maybe 80s. Has “AUTOMATIC” on both dial and case back but is manual wind only. Will need a magnifying glass to ID the numbers at the dial bottom. Keeps excellent time for what it is.
My wife told me you sold the channel we were both socked. but only to find out you had us going. nice one keep up the great work tgv. best regards Joseph.
Buy a Timex Marlin hes says... they dont make them anymore he says... annnnnnnnd re-release. haha. Really though the re-release proves you were spot on about their appeal!
Civilizations downfall? Wasn't slavery in full swing during Vermeer's lifetime? Malaria was an epidemic with no cure, there were monarchies, kings, extreme poverty throughout the world. WTF are you talking about?
Well that is quite a coincidence, you mentioning Timex. I bought 4 Kelton's (Timex) for about 50 dollars in total. They indeed work flawlessly and have never been maintenanced.
Yes indeed, I discovered Taschen art books some years ago. Now I’ve got a nice collection to check out anytime you need to know anything about art. Really nice quality prints for the money.
On todays episode I have to be extremely thankful to TGV for presenting around a year ago the Citizen NY0040 (marina Militare) pro-master auto ago and i immediately fell in love with the watch as a good alternative to the Seiko SKx and being that I already own 2 more citizens from different eras (Citizen chronograph automatic cal 8110 from 1980 -a gift from my father- and an Eco drive from 2003 still going strong) I immediately jumped on it when the model was already difficult to find and a paid a premium to acquire it but I am totally in seven heaven with the piece and i think frankly the Citizens look a tad more exclusive than their chief competitors (Seiko) grazie TGV!
Thank you Mario. When I get comments like this it pleases me no end. enjoy. To know I helped in anyway with a watch makes it all worth it. Keep rocking that Citizen with pride my friend, Best regards, TGV P.s. Eco drives are great too!!! Totally agree.
I kind of wonder what the Seiko SARG011 will do as far as price. From what I understand it was recently discontinued and at one point there was only one for 750 dollars on amazon that is now sold. Also the steel bracket version was going for 1200 on amazon. These watches were 3 to 500 dollar watches at one point. I bought mine from Long Island watch for 399 I think. Really I always thought they were a steel at 399 because you got the 6R15 movement plus sapphire glass. Mine is about a year old now and has no problem keeping near quartz accuracy.
Okay here we are three years later and look at what these watches are selling for at Joma shop ! The most expensive one was $330. Lol. & that timex is 59.99 on eBay
The Urban Gentry is a market mover, you create demand on some of these watches with your quality video reviews. I often go search for watches after I watch a video and I don't think I'm the only one! Thanks sir for what you do!

I second that!
I’m definitely a collector now and hope to pass the same passion to my sons
Dexter Nesbit me too. If I had money this guy would be the watch markets best salesman. Though I was able to scrape enough up to get my SKX.

If you get it, I'd absolutely love a thumb-through! Been looking for an awesome book on watches and that sounds perfect.
The Timex will double in value because TGV just indicated to 37,281 people that they should buy it.
RadioPej AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!!
This channel just keeps on improving. Top notch quality sir! Well done.
$11 for an art book of that quality, what a steal. Last I checked those books can easily be over a $100.
Indeed, I am still shocked, so glad you approve too.
Thank you,
Best regards,
TGV
Great article TGV, personally, I've never lost money on any Seiko and have made a fair bit in the past. I managed to more than double my money on a beadblast alarm chrono, almost RAF style number. As you may know, the genuine RAF Navigator issue watches from the 80/90s are rocketing however bashed up they are. Finally, the hero DW5200 I bought in '84 seems to have shot up over the years. Keep the great work up, Boss.
Solid predictions.
Citizen ny2300 will go high too, small diver.
Seiko alpinist will begin to sky rocket as well.
Totally agree on the Alpinists, its happened to all the previous versions.
As for the NY2300, I have still yet to try one but I don't doubt it.
Thank you,
Best regards,
TGV
Random Rob
Thanks for the tips.
"civilizations downfall is my gain" 😂 love it. Added to favourite quotes 😂😂😂
Now you have me thinking about buying a second flightmaster!
Always informative, always entertaining, keep them coming TGV.
Thank you so much Ron :D

@06:25 The actor who played 'Bishop' is Lance Henriksen.
Thank you Steve! That is the second time I forget his name, damn it.
Best regards,

Hi there, I've been watching your shows on the Channel for about 3 months and I have to say that it's a fantastic one in comparison to the other Channels. Although your taste of wearing the watches is not as the same of mine but it's sensible and respectful. About this video I'm agree with you about the models. It's good to say that I have my own collection and there are 30 watches in it. Love you so much and I want you to keep it up cause there's no one left like you to understand the value of the watches. I think there's a straight connection between a person's characteristics and the watch which he wears. Good job pal and good luck. Have fun.
Is nobody going to mention the 50k he's holding in the thumbnail?
Explain what ya on about
@riser naw thoes 10k bands
I'm also both a book collector (more so than watches) and a big Vermeer fan. His excellent exhibition is currently on in Dublin and then DC next. Also love Taschen books generally. they put out beautiful editions. Thanks for your entertaining and educational videos!
Is that the artist that used optical technology? I watched a fantastic documentary about it
Great topic 👍I have spent many thousands on a watch before but with more and more great watches for less than $500 I don't see the point in spending anymore than this.
I often feel that way. When I wear my SKX, especially that modded one I starting thing why do I need anything else!
Then I suddenly come back to reality LOL, I just love them too much.
Best regards,
TGV
JP JP you again!
I´m a owner of one of the 3000 Ripley´s and I love it. And it was pleasure to listen to you!
Here's some free ones. Seiko Sarb033 and Seiko Sarb017. Wait a few years until they're out of production and bam 2x-3x their value.
TGV you have tremendously expanded my knowledge of watches and horology please keep it up love it!
THAT alone makes it all worth it, thank you so much sir.
Thank you,
Best regards,
TGV
The Citizen AT8020 is so much better in every aspect compared to the Flight Master and it never gets a mention... What a shame...
Good morning sir , it would be very kind of you to make a special video about Dictators and their favorite watch .
Greetings from North Korea ♥️🤗
ìkkí How do you get internet?
Mans gotta risk it for the biscuit especially when this dude releases a new video
Watching this video whilst getting ready for work. I put on my Citizen NY Promaster just before it came up on the list. Tis a great watch indeed.
So pleased to hear, enjoy your Flighty my friend.
Best regards,
TGV
And Once again I go back to eBay to hunt for watches because of you lol ... great video my friend.. I like the flight master with the white dial
Thank you Amro.
I have to email you tomorrow. I nee to ask you a few things about the Omega.
Sorry for the delay my friend. Very hectic, I hope you are well.
Best regards,
TGV
I'm good thank you for asking.. sure I will be waiting for your email
Watching this while wearing my sunburst blue citizen ny0040 on smoke grey nato. Life is good! Great vid!
Thank you my friend, deffo hang onto it. It will skyrocket ;-) Great to hear you are enjoying it.
Have a good night too,
Best regards,
TGV
Hi Tristano ! What about Seiko SARG line - sarg003 , sarg007 , sarg011 . Impossible to find them now , but if possible , price is huge .
Help!! Lol
Seiko Alpinist 017 for sure will double if not triple, especially whe seiko stops producing them!
Best Regards,
WUG
With TGV having 125k subs then the channel creates its own market and hype..whatever watch you say is great thousands will start looking for that piece creating the false market amongst your own....Rolex have been tapping into the herd mentality for years...
I just bought a 35mm 1958 Omega hand wind dress watch for $100 that wasn't working. I looked it over, demagnetized it and oiled the bearing jewels and it sprang back to life. The real bonus was the .750 inside the case back indicating it is 18kt gold! It now sports a new alligator strap and my Rolex is in the safe on the weekend!
Lance Henrickson. He was ripped in half by an alien. Shot by a terminator and stabbed by a predator.
WOW, that is really cool and I totally see that now.
Thank you Aaron,
Best regards,
TGV
He also fought genetically modified intelligent piranhas before all of that.
Half of that movie was by the one who did the majority of the movies you listed but he got fired.
He also summoned Pumpkinhead👍
@@theurbangentry Yes, the only actor killed onscreen by all three. You could argue that Bill Paxton was another but not convinced he was killed in The Terminator.
@@Preditah. didn’t bill paxton get punched straight through the chest by Arnold? I would say he died for sure, and then Arnold stole his clothes!
Hi and many thanks for your post,- nice to see that youre thinking about items for the " small man" and not some upminded luxury products that are oftenly overpriced. Your list can go on and on:
- Casio Remote control watches
- Any diesel limited edition digital watch
- citizen independent series
- Seiko/ Alba/ Spoon ,- for example secret agent
Regards from your distant fans from the balkans
Sorry TGV, but Taschen books have been going cheap for years and years. It's part of their mission, to produce beautiful editons at very modest prices. I wish more watchmakers would follow this path....
That is fantastic to hear, normally I pay triple the cost. Oh well, good to hear they are getting cheaper.
Thank you sir,
Best regards,
TGV
Yo it doesn't tell the Time so meh, it's a book.
I know watches are your wheelhouse but I think of you expand your reviews on other gentlemanly things would also be epic and good for your chanel. Food for thought.
And yes I will be getting that book because culture
I was looking at some older vids, and I saw the thumbnail. Which made me think: "Damn what a guy!!"
Because of you I bought the Seiko "Flighty" SNA411 last year and 8 months later the price has gone from 280 Euro up to sometimes 450 Euro over here in old Europe. It's pure madness.
WOW, that is insane. Thank you for sharing that and enjoy your flighty!
Best regards,
TGV
Insane!
2021 and the Ripley is over $1500
So glad i picked up my NY0040 from ebay for £135 this year, absolutely love it!
Lance Hendriksen! I believe.., yes, he did the "Alien vs Predator" film. That was my favorite ~ alongside "Aliens" (#2 in the franchise)..!!! The BEST of the Best!
Thank you David, of course! He was in that too. I have to rematch them.
Best regards,
TGV
Little fun fact, I believe he was actually originally going to play the Terminator (also considered was Billy Idol) and Arnold was going to play Reese.
As an Italian I love everything about this channel
Great topic, really useful for myself and thousands of aspiring watch collectors.
So glad to hear, thank you Luis,
Best regards,
TGV
Hey TGV!
Just wantedquickly comment to thank you for all the work you put in this channel. Thanks to you, I bought my first 'real' watch today: a Seiko SRN049! The first of many I hope :)
Fantastic!!! Congrats my friend, enjoy!
Nothing like a Seiko to start a life long journey.
Enjoy and wear it with pride.
Thank you,
Best regards,
TGV
Just my personal opinion, but I believe the Citizen is a sleeper, and will eventually exceed your expectations. It's a little gem.
A gem of the ocean,
Thank you Rick,
Best regards,
TGV
Rick Gordon I bought the Lume dial and sold it for 80 profit... I wish I had bought the blue and keept it.
Sinn is great though.
watches which appear in this channel just simply double in the next morning
Just have to say your videos on watches are great and truly informative. Keep up the great work..
Urban Gentry what do you think to the Seiko “Arnie”?
OMG that sounds priceless, you are so lucky to have it. What a wonderful story, thank you so much for sharing that.
Best regards,
TGV
Very interesting pieces. The Omega is a gem. I’ve been wearing a beater day-date Timex that I wore back in the 90s and maybe 80s. Has “AUTOMATIC” on both dial and case back but is manual wind only. Will need a magnifying glass to ID the numbers at the dial bottom. Keeps excellent time for what it is.
11 bucks for a book of that quality? Great deal!
I had the Casio Skywalker you showed as a kid. I lost it at school and have not seen one since. I loved that watch. I'll see if I can find one.
These look like watches for Collectors to put into the collection
My wife told me you sold the channel we were both socked. but only to find out you had us going. nice one keep up the great work tgv.
best regards Joseph.
Haha, I thought a little levity in the UGWC was needed ;-)
Sorry if I scared you.
Best regards,
TGV
Buy a Timex Marlin hes says... they dont make them anymore he says... annnnnnnnd re-release. haha. Really though the re-release proves you were spot on about their appeal!
They still went up they are around 70 rn
Hi, Just found you and I’m enjoying your videos and yes, some Omega’s are selling over $1500-$1700 in Australia now. Wow. Sadly I don’t have any.
Well.... you were wrong in every case. None of these watches are worth more 5 years after video posting.
🤣🤣🤣 Thank you so much Scott,
Best regards,
TGV
Sweet intro! I love that you change them up and put time into the intros as well as the content. Always great music selection!
Thank you Steve :D

Always thought the Ridley looked like a Delorean got romantic with an Atari
Yes indeed, I discovered Taschen art books some years ago. Now I’ve got a nice collection to check out anytime you need to know anything about art. Really nice quality prints for the money.
Chinese food and TGV not very gentleman like but it works for me lol. Cheers mate.
Thank you, sounds like heaven! Nothing wrong with a good Chinese, enjoy sir.
Best regards,
TGV
Keep rocking that Citizen with pride my friend,
Best regards,
TGV
Im a SARG 011 Owner too, great little watch. :)
OMG just checked ebay on the SARG011!!
They have already doubled in price.
Okay here we are three years later and look at what these watches are selling for at Joma shop ! The most expensive one was $330. Lol. & that timex is 59.99 on eBay
Joma shop sells grey market watched, terrible to go off for value. Rolex’s and all brands on that site are 10-30% cheaper than what they truly are
