- We’re incredibly excited to announce a return to the stage of Yearning For Turning with “Blitz & Donner”. YFT 11 centers around a trip we did to Tahoe, California in February of 2024 with a colorful crew of friendly faces, visiting various resorts and spots around the Donner Pass area, and mostly commuting from an AirBNB way out in Portola, CA. The 1.5h drive each way between our homestay and the Donner area gave our California vacation a road trip vibe, while in reality we stayed up in one spot for most of the trip, with exception of a week in between filming to link up with friends and hit other areas around Lake Tahoe to run demo events and gatherings with the turning community. We often frequented Sugar Bowl resort - “Thanks to Janks!” - where we enjoyed ripping their groomers and taking advantage of the easy access to fun side-country terrain when powder was plentiful. The search for untouched powder and turns away from the crowds saw us exploring other areas of the Sierra’s by ways of the generous guidance of our mates Blake and Tucker and their crew of powder-hungry locals. Long story short, we had a blast turning in Tahoe, made great memories and met new friends, and at the end of the day those are the essential ingredients needed to make a Yearning For Turning film. Mix in the tunes, add in the creative talents of the folks behind the lens and editing bay, and there you have it: Vol. XI - Blitz & Donner. Enjoy!

As usual, an epic short that, for me, captures what snowboarding is really all about.
I had a bad accident 4 years ago, that left me unable to walk and since then I haven't been able to ride. I'm REALLY hoping 2025 will be the year I get to stand sideways again. I managed over 20 years, never missing a season before that.

Really enjoyed this one dudes. I used to instruct at the gem of a spot at the top of Donner Pass where a lot of this was filmed. Some incredible terrain there for sure. Looks like you guys scored big! I remember meeting Nikolas and Stephan at Parts and Labor several years back. Some of the nicest dudes ever. So stoked to ride one of your shapes. Incredible boards.

Again a masterpiece after some "weaker" previous ones (not yft - they are all great). One thing though, maybe it is my age but sometimes the cuts are way to fast for me. Back in the day you guys had some really long cuts just following the rider(s) for 5-10 seconds or so. I really like(d) that in contrast to everybody else making these fast pace fast cuts videos. So...please, for any further projects consider making more longer sequences again. Otherwise, thanks very much for your work - the only snowboarding stuff I watch nowadays. A happy Dart owner (best board ever).

Hello guys. I just bought the Kurua Transition Finder. I have union Falcor bindings. Both of these are stiff. Do you think Burton photon or Burton ruler boots will be a better fit ? I feel like the burton ruler are softer boots so they will feel better but wanted to hear other opinions as well.
Also I have problems with my knees so i wonder best angles that i could use, will appreciate some advices. Will 24/9 be a good starting point ? Or should i go for 15/9 instead ? The snowboard will be used mostly for riding slopes in alpine mountains and little bit of park.
Sooooo "american" for a european style. Masterturns... masterfloat... Korua seems to have something very unique while riding U.S. like more of a rock vibe compared to more of Kraftwerk mix in their european videos.
Masterpiece, and a proof that snowboarding can be art.
