Enchanting. Thank you Anna and all in the choir for bringing us your truly wonderful singing and music. I shall forever treasure what hearing your beautiful output does to my soul.
What an awe-inspiring performance! The harmony and precision of this choir are simply breathtaking. Each voice uniquely contributes to the overall sound, and the result is sheer musicality. It's amazing how music can bring together and deeply touch so many people. Huge kudos to everyone involved - from the singers to the conductor. Thank you for sharing your talent with us and brightening our day! 🎵👏
Thank you so much for featuring this beautiful music from Salvation Army composer, June Collin. Wonderful that our music is getting exposure beyond Salvation Army choirs 😀
@@mymanjosquin Attended a couple of choir days with the late great Sir David Willcox many years ago. His party piece was to put a knotted handkerchief on his head halfway though a piece and ask at the end 'see anything unusual?' People rarely did see anything!
The other impressive thing is not only the control, the musicality, the lively acoustics, etc…. no one set themselves on fire! (Or the hair of the person in front.)
*The quiet heart* | June Collin 'Twas in the stillness of the night that Jesus came. No blare of trumpets heralded his birth Nor broke the wonted silence of the earth. No clang of bells or blatant hue and cry Disturbed the calm beneath the Bethlehem sky. When Jesus came 'twas night And the world was still. 'Tis to the quiet heart he loves to come, Not often 'midst the tumult of the day, When we can find small time to think or pray, Or when, confused by agitating care, We find no secret place for him to share. We must be still if we his voice would hear. 'Tis to the quiet heart he loves to come.
Dear Anna, I'm just a retired agricultural engineer, so I may be excused for stupid questions, but: how does your tablet know when to shift to the next page?
If this recording is accurately live, Anna has yet another amazing recroding. Beautiful music. Absolutely beautiful music.

Magical singing, plus the magical one unheard voice - the conductor!

MBE! Well deserved.
As an occasional choir master, I find your ability to get the choir to actually look at you quite awe-inspiring :) Wonderful performance.
i think u might notice that English choirs do this quite well.
they are trained to look up from an early age.

Not Anna, but she explained some time ago that it's a feature of her pad. She can turn the pages with a head gesture (useful while playing the organ!)
they sound lovely but i worry they might catch fire.
