Some nice looking projects coming up. Still amazed by the level of detail and attention to CR's little differences with their equipment you capture. See, in the end video you focused on the derail, but what I noticed was a completely fresh painted CR loco. I saw that and was like, WTH - it's still bright blue?! Looking forward to following along for '25!
Everything is looking great Steve! Love the chopped CR hoppers. You mentioned the decals running on the Walthers hoppers. Back many moons ago I use to use Testors dullcoat and it made the Walthers ink-paint print float. Messed up the whole car. So I know exactly what you mean. Again everything is looking great!
Nice trackwork, nice locomotive work too!! Love all of the coal hoppers, they'll make a nice unit train!! Also give a tip of the hat to that ballast train, the weathering on everything down to the Caboose was spot on!! When Conrail updated SD 40s to SD40-2S they upgraded the electronics and wiring, not much changed in appearance on the outside other than maybe repaint unless they added ditch lights, very cool update Steve, looking forward to seeing a few Auto Rack trains making some run throughs in the future!!
Up here in New Jersey, the commuter railroad NJ Transit released another heritage unit. GP40PH-2B #4208 was repainted into CONRAIL. They even changed the horn. It's like a blast from the past.
hi steve !!! hope you had a great christmas ! as usual, just a great end of the year flick. nice to see you re-engineered your curves as i am sure it was a pain in the ass ! i am painting fascia this weekend and just got a new wheeling & lake erie sd40t-2 and have consisted it with a bprr engine that was "suped-up" by georgia bigfoot trains and they really run nice together. football, trains. and model trains this weekend as we are going to south buffalo,ny for some live stuff then off for pizza and beer ! keep the videos rollin', steve ! denny

Nice job Steve. I feel your pain on the track work. Every time I think I have mine all sorted out something seems to rear it's ugly head.

I need to find some dash 8s, I have the old spectrum which was great when they came out. Are you going to the springfield, MA show in a few weeks?
Nice update Steve. I'm going to go back and watch a few of your weathering videos. What do use to fade the blue on your CR locomotives?
