Hi Chidera, this video is fantastic! It summarises the struggle of ladies with PCOS, especially in the UK. I have the same issue as yourself. In Nigeria, I was perfectly fine, but the moment I left Nigeria, my period disappeared for months. This has always been the case for me tho for the past few years. In the past, I stopped shopping from Aldi and tried Tesco and my symptoms got way better but that trick seems to not work for my body anymore. Feeding organic is so expensive but we have to do what we have to do. I'm trying to incorporate regular exercising as well. If it helps, you can try some supplements like Ovasitol and omega 3/Vitamin D(subject to consultation from your GP). Congratulations on your first event! So proud of you. Go girllll :)

This is actually so crazy because I was just having this discussion with my friends this week about how manipulated the foods here are and how I was aware of my “stomach” issues when I got to this country. Organic is the way forward . Intermittent fasting really helps as well!

Hi Chidera, thank you for sharing. Farmers Markets are the best way to get grass fed meat, local grown / freshly harvested seasonal produce, and organic food at reasonable prices.
Avoid the Markets in affluent areas as they can be more expensive. There is a very good one every Saturday in Lewisham College Car Park from 10am to 2pm.
I've also found fasting and detox very helpful. I've talked about it on my channel.
You are doing a great job 💪🏾👍🏾,💞

On PCOS, i advise you to fast in the morning hours upto lunch time. Do more cruciferous vegetables and fruits. Avoid lean meat, dairy, sugar, processed foods and high starch foods like cassava, white rice, high gluten flour.
Worry not about yoyr iron levels, it will be compensated througj the spinach and beetroot juice

Idk if you should drink 2 litres of water a day, its too much water and may disrupt the electrolytes in your body. Someone correct me✋

Thank you for touching on the food difference in the UK and back in Nigeria. I was literally wondering if that could be a factor.
    QUESTION
Are there "farmers markets" in the UK. Is the organic there more affordable?
P.S Congratulations on putting together your first event!
