This was the debut album from Chicago and this song is the perfect introduction for the first song on their first album. Such a magnificent song and way to debut the band!
This is the best debut and 'introduction' to a band ever made. Chicago gives us each musician individually but also shows their chops as an ensemble. Work on us! Plus THEY ROCK.
Here weee gooooo!!!!! This is going to be dope checking out the whole CTA album....I know you did I'm a Man and maybe one other song from this album, but so much more to explore!! :)
You might just as well continue on with this album for the next few tracks. You can see the different songwriters prominence in the vocal leads as well. I still listen to this album a few times a month. Thanks for doing this!
My first concert was Chicago. I was blown away. I have always have loved bands with horns. If you haven't already, you should check out some Tower of Power
Their first three albums were double album issues. Who else had the balls to do that? They were awesome. I’ve missed Terry Kath’s music for a long time. Still love & listen to this LP. It was my first Christmas gift from a girlfriend. ✌️❤️🎶
Hahaha, that was by far your funniest line yet. Right after that ridiculous instrumentational wizardry, you bust out that line. You had me on the floor and I did a spit take of my drink! Seriously though, I'm so glad you appreciate classic Chicago, they're my all-time favorite group. I've seen them live several times and got to meet them and they're awesome live and truly cool humans as well. Awesome stuff as always, Biz. Enjoy the weekend, brother! 🤘✌️
It’s brilliant. I love it. These guys debut with this song on a double album… All you can say is cojones grandes. They’re good enough to pull it off, and you have to respect it. I want to be in a band like that! it looks like so much fun. You can’t go wrong with anything you play on this first album.
That's amazing. I'm jealous that I was about a decade behind you. But I got to meet the guys several times, and Walt and I hung out for about an hour just chatting. He was the sweetest and most humblest man considering his accomplishments. It's a shame what he's going through now. Cheers. 🤘✌️🎵
EXCELLENT ALBUM... Lots of Cream influences on some of the deeper tracks. Many tunes over 8 minutes long... really get lost in the music. BASS sounds awesome at Volume level 11, the walls will not stop shaking.
Chicago Transit Authority or Chicago I, Chicago II and Live at Carnegie Hall (essentially I and II played live) are their best albums Biz. They had some great songs after these albums, but none of their later albums approached these ones.

As incredible presently as it was when I first listened to this over 50 years ago!!!

Early Chicago was expected to put out such Compositional Mastery...and they Delivered .

Epic. Chicago had such a amazing sound.
Try "Beginning". Gteat reactions to "Introduction". Also "Questions Number 67+ 68" is a keeper.
Love this track!! Old Chicago is my favorite.....amazing musicians! Great reaction!

Jazz fusion prog rock. Side one is great. Keep listening. 😄
