I actually think this is one of the best and most honest takes I’ve heard on mixing. It’s all about the boring stuff, this will go over so many peoples heads. It’s the stuff they’ve probably heard a 100 times but this video does it in neat and linear fashion.
Awesome to hear! Exactly what I’m going for here. So glad to be useful. My mission isn’t to teach people a million new fancy techniques. It’s to help people figure out what to focus on the MOST. And, to help them make the things they know they probably “should” be doing finally stick for good and become habit. In my experience, that’s what really sets the best apart. They focus on the right things, the most important things-the “biggest wins”-and reliably put them into practice in their work, with a system or approach they can rely on. If I can help people with a little bit of that, I think and hope I’m doing a real service. Seems to be working so far! Thanks so much for the support. -Justin
WELL DONE. Well structured. We know it's always 'easier said than done' but it needs to be said; and you said it clearly. I would have added one section on 'mono-mixing' and another on 'mixing volume' but, overall, this is legit. 🔥🇹🇹👍🏾

Excellent reminders Justin!
Thank you.
Hey Rob, thanks for checking out the video!
What do you think are some of the most common mixing mistakes?
I think gain staging is a common mistake. We often wanna turn Stuff up but understanding how to level things with the signal is more important.
Lol 3 minutes in you mentioned it!
