I use my F13 as a windows key for WKL boards.
I use F13 for SoundSwitch to switch between headphones and speakers.

dang why do I not have a one key press macro for snipping on my work keyboard? I've been doing it wrong for a long time!
It's just a button. It can literally be whatever you want. Just like the WKL people, it makes no sense why you would want to use less of your keyboard space for functionality and just have blank space. If you aren't putting a rotary knob or something else functional there then you are actually wasting space.
F13? Nah i use macro pads. 60 percent all the way

Use it as play pause or use it as soundboard hotkey for games
i use my f13 key to save a 60 sec clip capture in obs when something cool happens
I use mine to toggle a layer with nothing on it
