oh GOD, PLEASE, Joshua, you need to be careful with zelantis, your opponent didnt notice, but formula synchron is NOT a HOPT, when you banish and resummon in MP1, and you use promethean princess, he can chain formula stop your princess and go into baronne de fleur D:, you could special the flamberge in attack and formula in face down defense and be able to make the play still. If opponent saw this, it stops princess, salamangreat link, u dont get to snake eyes spell (baronne negate) , and from unlosable, now it becomes super close (baronned negate on your turn, + reborn effect on SB + bonfire in hand + topdeck) This same error happened in the team YCS, one round a guy zelantis'ed a facedown ashe blossom so he could attack for game, and re-specialed it in attack mode, opponent then got to special promethean since ash blossom was face up and also triggered his fire king engine Edit: Prometheum still summons, however it still complicates his life, since letting your opponent get baronne for free is obviously not correct, tldr
In German, placing non-spell cards into the backrow as continuous spells could be called „verzaubern“ (meaning „bewitching“ or „charming“) since the German TCG calls spells „Zauber“. Instead of reading „verzaubern“ as the action of applying magic to some one/thing, one might also be able to read as the action of turning something into a „Zauber“ (which may just be what the word literally says) but I'm not 100% sure about that.

Joshua cannot draw 2 off since the chain started with fountain, so that the runick quick-play spells resolved before the fountain has fully resolved to hit the field.
Its good deck but its very meta dependent. As of right now its fire, fire and more fire. Which Bystials do fuck all to. I imagine they'll make a resurgence if it ever swings back into a Light/Dark meta. Personally i still play it and get decent results but theres always other variants. Earthbound, Snake Eye, Naturia (if they ever get Sacred Tree back from 1) and more
Runick Snake-Eyes is probably the best variation right now just because those cards are just so busted. If you don't want to play any fire stuff, probably Ghotti, Earthbound, Fur-Hir/Spright and Orcust are decent too.
My experience is that Runick gets smoked by the fire decks AND by all the hand traps and shifter decks running around to counter the busted fire stuff. I'm probably putting my Runick stuff to one side for this format honestly and just playing something else

Game 2 you could’ve gone into raging phoenix using ash and princess as materials but then you wouldn’t have been able to use princess in grave after zealantis unless you pop flamberge which is the whole point of having on the field on your opponents turn to get resources… probably wouldn’t have made a difference tho but important to keep in mind Also: runick 🤮

at around 11:00 opponent shouldve summoned snake eye monsters in attack so that later they can go battle phase and attempt to kill sp through slumber
