Romans 6:23 in the Bible says “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
God commands us to not worship any other gods, to not make any idol/graven image, to not take the Lords name in vain, to keep the Sabbath day, honor our father and mother, not to murder, commit adultery, steal, lie, covet, and more. We have all broken Gods commandments and sinned against the one who gave us life. Sin is the reason we die and sin makes us deserving of punishment, hell. But we are able to be forgiven and gifted eternal life through Jesus! 💞💞
Romans 5:8 “God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”
God loves you so much that He sent Jesus, His son, who is One with God, to save us. Jesus says in John 10:30 “I and the Father are One.” Jesus died to pay for our sins in our place. He was crucified on a cross, mocked, beaten, and treated as though He were a criminal. Jesus never broke any law or sinned, He is the only person who ever lived on the earth that didn’t deserve to die, but He did it to save US. That is the greatest love. 💗 Jesus rose from the grave on the third day after His death, defeating death 🙌
Roman’s 10:9-10 “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation” You can be forgiven of your sins and be given eternal life by repenting and placing your faith in Jesus 💗💗
John 3:16-18 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.”
The Bible is Gods word, it shows us who God truly is and how He wants us to follow Him 💗 Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are the gospels of Jesus. In these books His teachings, miracles, death, and resurrection are recorded. God bless you and have a great night or day wherever you may be 🌙
