- United Nations - A behind the scenes look at the United Nations General Assembly.
With all-access footage of what goes on at the annual meeting of the world’s leaders, The Assembly follows a UN Photographer, Interpreter, Spokesperson and Youth Advocate on a journey around one of the most secure and high-profile events of the year, all intersecting with the role of the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon.

Someday I’ll work for this amazing organization. If I finish my degree and grab some experience, hopefully they’ll let me play out my childhood dream of working there. That’s my one wish in life :)

It's great to see positive comments on this video. The UN is not a perfect institution, but nothing is, and it represents a truly noble higher ideal of all nations and peoples working together in harmony.
UN is the the ideal that I wish to embodied someday. I will strive to be the best I can be and someday I wish to contribute and help share the vision of a better tomorrow. God bless :)

I want to work for the United Nations and see a General Assembly meeting in person. I want to go inside the General Assembly room because it is so freaking beautiful. The best room I have ever seen in my life!

I am very passionate about international relations, I think of it day and night... I really take my time analysing global issues and see how they are dealt with. My pain is that right now I can't do what I love because my sponsors won't have me studying international relations or political science... I have to study what they think will give me a job... What a world 😔😔

Be well prepared for GSL, Moderated Caucus, and ask QUESTIONS. Also use chits to their fullest.
Don't get overwhelmed and never be scared to speak. Take every chance of speaking and you will win.

The United Nations is amazing. I hope to represent my country there at UNCTAD. I've done one UNCTAD conference in Kenya. Hope to do many more at international bilateral level for the AU. That's my big dream. Represent Africa on trade at international bilateral level.

The UN definitly has ways it could improve, but the idea and beliefs behind the peacekeeping origanisation are important and I hope to work there. Globalisation is important. In a time when humans are more connected than ever before, we cannot afford to retreat into the pursuit of our selfish interests, but seek to find solutions to issues that benefit us all. 🇺🇳🇺🇳🇺🇸🇺🇸
