2023 UCI BMX Freestyle World Championships
at Glasgow Green on 7th Aug
as part of the inaugural 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships in Glasgow and across Scotland, held every four years in the year preceding the Olympics, and combining the annual UCI Road, Track & MTB World Champs as part of one mega event, covered by the BBC (I think the BMX was on the Red Button) from the 3rd - 13th

In my 50's now but it still fascinates me just how far BMX has come along & evolved since the first year I owned a BMX and rode out with a big team of mates that were just as bonkers about the bikes as I was, 1982
Funny thing this aging process, just plain weird but watching you Kieran along with the other riders and some other channels here on UTube keeps me sane at times.

I don't think most people appreciate the insane amount of precision this sport takes.
I went from pretty good at BMX to ultimately an MTB champion in my state.
I just had that valuable experience and the take no prisoners attitude.

I remember when Kieran started his channel and instantly blew minds with triple whips and double flairs. And everybody in the comments was like... you're gonna go to far... X-Games and beyond. While he wasn't even competing at the time at all!
