EPS is simply a debit card issued by the bank and is linked to your saving account. You can draw cash and do tap-payment as long as there is money in your account. It works the same way as a bank "debit" card you got from the banks in the UK.
You don't need to carry an ID doc when you go out in the UK and It's very normal that the local underestimates the age of Asian people - some of the locals could be a bit stupid sometimes. If you ever go clubbing or going to pubs and bars in the evening, you might want to carry some ID then as the bouncers might demand to see your ID before letting you in because of your youthful look. People do use credit cards but many of them use debit cards because they have already maxed out their credit card limits. The majority of the working class and lower middle class people (like most of the junior nurses and teachers from state schools) in the UK are poor. You will find private schools paying you a much higher wage. Also one interesting fact for you (although you don't live in London), the oyster card people use for London transport is actually a variation of the the octopus card 八達通 in HK. The management that runs London underground train system is partially owned by MTR HK (at least it was). So they copied the idea of a sea creature like 'octopus' and turned it into the 'oyster' card. However this is a classic example of 'lost in translation' as the rationale for the HK octopus card is that octopus as a sea creature has many tentacles and they are very flexible, allowing them to reach out not only to a very large part of HK (as a transport network) but also some remote areas just like the tentacles. Here London Underground lost the plot completely, thinking that this is all about naming it after a sea creature like octopus so they call it 'oyster' card! Oyster as a sea creature more often stays in one place and as it happens ironically that London Underground trains often breakdown due to poor maintenance and management, ended up going no where (just like oyster) ! 🤭

廣東話係九聲六調，九聲係陰陽平上去入、中入，六調係將入聲歸納返入陰陽平上去，ptk尾果啲就係入聲，我小學有學過。

其實香港用有 EPS 既銀行提款咭已經係類似 debt card 果種用法, 用嚟買嘢都係直接響銀行扣數.
另外香港人學字既讀音通常唔係靠拼音, 而係扉一種叫「切音」既系統.
字典入面, 如果果個字有「常用字」既讀音, 就會寫 "音「A」". 如果冇, 就會搵兩個常用字, 第一個字取「聲母」, 第二個字取「韻母」同「聲調, 寫成「AB切」.
