Same issue I was playing a Gravitas Ventures factory copy DVD-R of Renata road on my BDH 5900 it made all kinds of slamming noise 11 minutes in, afterwards another DVD played about 4 min in., screen went dark after a pause break but still had audio. Strange You Tube will not load & go dark, no audio, but Accu Weather has picture & no discs will have audio, but no picture. Menus still appear. Bought my friend a J5700, no power light that's bad!
