I think the mirror needs to be able to be oriented, so the harsh light spot can be pointed at an area, not fixed always, at least pan up and down, to avoid hitting the face and burn it.
this looks awesome !! I've already improvised a couple setups where i would place unbleached muslin to have more light ambience but it was a much more complicated setup. With this new kit, it should help a lot ! Also, diff 2 & 3 are my favorite ones to use, can't wait to try this :D
Does anyone know when the Snap Bridge will be available in USA? I have checked on the dealer websites and no one seems to have them listed on there sites. Also what is the price for just the Snap Bridge?
@@chris_santucci i see the light at the bottom and i thought about a low stand but what about moving it around. Is there a solution to move it at all at one time
@@RayValdezPhotography What you can do is mount the light to the bottom of the stand that's also holding the bounce using a cardellini clamp or short grip arm. I've done that quite a bit.
If you added a strip of velcro on an inner panel or 2 you could make a cone shape using the same product that you could use as a product photography cone that would eliminate reflections and let light pass thru the fabric and shoot downward. You're welcome.
I already have a CRLS system with C-Wheels, and it's true that the system is very pricey. How do you just purchase a "C-Wheel extender" so you can just use your existing CRLS stuff with a reflector, maybe the DoPchoice, or frankly any kind of reflector with a hole in the center?
I've always felt Lightbridge panels and their mandatory holders are too expensive of an accessory. The ROI on the Lightbridge, compared to other methods of light manipulation, is very low, to be honest. I've used these in the past, but the benefit doesn't justify the cost. This new unit is even more expensive. I'll take a pass on this one.
lightbridge precision reflectors should give you the control you need because they are spill light free, also bright enough the make snapbridge ultrabounce be a subtle addition. looking forward to hear if this proves true for you on set!
IMO since the introduction of the LB products, the marketing has always shrouded the product in this veil and vagueness. For most folks, this leads to a lot of dubiousness. This product and the way it’s talked about and showcased here adds to that. It’s not “bad” per se but there is an imbalance. It is what it is. Will there be a difference vs other solutions/products..? Probably. But I liken it to having one more shade of grey crayon in a palette from black to white. Or having more bit depth - 8 bit to 10 bit; does it make a difference? Yes..but at the same time, it’s not an earth shattering, night and day difference. For the people who want that extra grey crayon, somehow believe they need it, or can utilise it..and have the cash to splash..I guess why not. But it’s not a product that’s doing something no other product can do. They don’t address the question that was posed, which leaves things wide open to Godox and other manufacturer to come in. On a separate note the black side thing is a bit of a stretch. Someone had a black dish and it was mostly found wanting.
I’ve never found their marketing to be vague personally. I’ve watched a ton of Jakob’s demo videos using all sorts of different fixtures in all sorts of situations.
I like to use a dark mood, coz the umbrella is able to eliminate spilling light behind sets and unlikely reflection light from walls and rooftops. This function really helps with detailed lighting. I'm looking forward to launching a new one for you Thelightbridge now and forever🫶
I already do this for years. Just put a CRLS reflector in front of the softbox. We can control the output ratio too. 😃
$1,875 (€1.695) for this is... quite insane. Does it come with a light for that price? ... Waiting for the Godox version.
Brilliant! The demo with the model shows the effectiveness of the new product.
Couldn't agree more. The light looks simply stunning

Where is the light source at or how is it at the bottom? Show us!
we can do a sepperate video explaining!
It's on a low stand or a plate, pointed up. I've been doing that for decades.

does it work with flash?
Is the Snapbridge compatible with the Dedo Lightstream system?
Doubt it as that's a rip-off of the Lightbridge system

I thought SnapBridge was the Nikon App?

hi! C-Wheel extender and only the snapbridge will be available shortly!
of course! all sepperate items coming soon!

lol. 🥱
Black silks?
I like the look of this tho I might miss the extra control a honeycomb grid can give you.
would that be the point point of the black. you get a smaller more focused source?

Thanks Jakob. I need to get my hands on this kit! @@jakobballinger3784
@@RayValdezPhotography yes exactly and less spill light, negative fill

Am I the only one who's bothered by the "complex" catch light in her eye ?
You guys make it easy to support the Chinese ripoff version. $1800!?!? 🤣
Gonna wait for a godox knock off
God I hate the banding on RUclips.
I need this today… can’t find anywhere… contact me …
Just buy more and more and more stuff and you will be brilliant.
