I love the idea that the hiker themself is going through your typical forest horror game while the player attempts to get them the happy ending. I would love to see this as a multiplayer concept. like, one player as the guard in the tower while the other attempts to flee through the forest. That would be so cool to see.
There's already a game with a similar concept.

I'm so glad a popular RUclipsr like you is covering this game, I think it needs more recognition and love, especially with it's recent released sequel "The Leeds Murder; A Gracewind Tale." (Despite it releasing all the way back in October.)
I’m pretty sure people like coryxkenshin, markiplier, and jacksepticeye played this and got millions of views off of it.

game should have released on steam, indie game sites are not as popular as they once were.

I think both the game are based on same story as it is not publically available.
this is pretty much the original game in the “fire watchtower” genre
First was this, then Puppet Combo’s Nightwatch, then Fears to Fathom
Do You Copy came out 7 years ago, just after Firewatch. Ironbark is a cheap ripoff

Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve heard of this game. It has to be one of my favorite horror games of all time. The concept of a monster mimicking the person you’re trying to help was simple yet well made.

This game genuinely scared me and I’m happy it’s getting the recognition it deserves. Mimic-like cryptids, creatures, etc has been my hyper focus for a little bit and this hits all the buttons for me
ive watched a video of someone playing this and the youtuber actually tried to get several endings and it was fun, so i am interested in what is hidden in this

if this is too scary for you, i’d recommend you play Firewatch. it’s free on xbox gamepass, and is identical to Do You Copy. exactly the same, it’s a walking sim and it’s just exploration. pretty wholesome, aside from some unnerving parts of seeing silhouettes of people in areas they’re not supposed to be in. very wholesome, 10/10 recommend.
To this day no game scared me more than this one. There’s just something about it

It's amazing that all the things that we expected to be more and details are actually simple and plain.
My first and only experience with this game was in rec room, after watching this i realised how well done that rec room remake was.

Tbh I think the game was scary enough without the eyes. The effect is cool but a little too cheap looking. The atmosphere of just having to hear what’s going on around you and having no visual of the man or a goat made it tense.

Ironbark Lookout has the same premise of Do You Copy, yes. Although, their stories are quite different from one another.
